The Ugly Side of Me Is Strong

Brian's POV Cat lay in my arms so still. I watched as her chest rose and fell slowly, her heartbeat slowly fading. It wasn't long before her heart stopped completely. I drew in a shaky breath as i watched her chest stop moving. She'll be fine, she'll be fine. I told myself. I couldnt lose her. I gently brushed a small piece of hair out of her face and gently laid her down on the floor. A hand on my shoulder made me jump up protectively, a growl escaping my throat. "Whoah, dude!" Zacky holleted, throwing his hands up. "What?" I sighed heavily. "Get some air man. We will keep an eye on her." He suggested. I shook my head. "No. I want to be here when she wakes up." "Well, it might be a while..." I shook my head and took a seat on the couch, watching her. It had been an about 3 hours and Cat still lay there lifeless. My mind was going 100 miles a minute. I couldn't lose her and i would kill myself if anything happened to her. She was my everything and the only one i had ever really been close to and feel as attached to. When i was with the psyho bitch i thought that was it and that was as good as it got but when i found Cat, i knew it was more, more than i had ever known in my long life. She was it for me. I lit a cigarette as i starred at her, glancing out the window. The guys were all outside talking. The sun would be coming up soon. I put my cigarette out and slowly made my way over to her. Kneeling down beside her, i gently as i could picked her up and began up the stairs to my room. I pushed the door shut with my foot and slowly laid her lifeless body down onto the bed. I sat down beside her pushing the hair messy hair out of her face, which was half covered in dried blood. I sighed heavily letting my hand fall. "I can't lose you baby. Please..." i whisphered, taking her hand. I don't know how long i sat there starring out her hand before i felt something. Something moved. I was so lost in my thoughts that i didn't realize what it was. I looked up to her face again finally realizing what the movement had been when her other hand twitched slighty, then her foot and trn the other one. I let.go of her hand and laid it beside her, watching her face intently. Slowly her mouth opened and i watched her teeth elongate. A smile broke on my face. My baby was alive.
