Warmness On The Soul
Vanessa's POV*
We didn't talk much in the car ride. I could tell Zacky was still upset, so I wanted to give him time to cool off. I asked him if I could put the radio on that way I could ease the mood. He nodded so I went and put my favorite song on.
" Your hazel green tint eyes watching, every move I make..." I couldn't help but sing. Warmness on the Soul was one of their first songs. Zacky turned to look at me and smiled. I smiled back and continued singing, "I give my heart to you. I give my heart cause nothing in this world compares to you."
Just then I realized we had stopped and parked. I looked around and recognized the area. We were in Huntington Beach, at the pier to be exact. Back in the day this is where we'd all come to hang out after the band practices. I got out the car and kicked my heels off running towards the sand.
"Zacky, come on! Be a kid with me again!" I yelled over to him. I seen him smile and take his shoes off too and put then in the car. He also pulled out a little blanket. Then he headed to where I was at.
"Somebody is full of energy!" Zack laughed. "Here I have this blanket with me at all times in my car cause I always come out here when I'm having a rough day or night." He laid it on the sand and sat down patting the spot next to him for me to sit too. I took my place by his side.
"I'm guessing you've been here recently?" I asked feeling guilty that it may have been my fault.
"Yeah, last night as a matter of fact. I came here last night after I left Brian's cause Gena called me and I was already upset with myself." He said.
"Who is Gena?" I asked.
He told me all about his ex-girlfriend. How she left him for a career that she didn't even have. She still calls him up asking for money. I don't understand girls like that. They break it off with someone and continue to mess with guys' heads. He even told me how he wanted to marry her. I must admit I felt a little jealous.
"I'm sorry Zacky. I know how it feels to want something and not have it." I thought about when I was crushing hard on Zacky. I could feel all of those emotions coming back to me. I needed to change the subject. "Ooh, its kind of chilly out. I should have brought my coat." I laughed rubbing my arms.
Just then he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me this time...
