Zacky's POV*

I sat there explaining to Nessa about all the shit Gena put me through. It irritated the shit out of me that she always found a way to piss me off even when its been a few months since we broke up. I don't want say I hate Gena but I don't think highly of her. She changed way too much, probably letting the fame get to her from being my girlfriend at the time.

"I'm sorry Zacky. I know what its like to want something and not have it." Nessa said as she looked down. She looked sad. I didn't want her to feel sad. I wanted to see her smile and laugh. She looked up and said, "Its kind of chilly out. I should have brought my coat."

This is when I took a chance. I wrapped my arms around her to keep her warm then looked into her eyes and kissed her. At first I thought she would get upset and push me away. She was kissing me back. It wasn't just a peck or anything. It was a full on, sparks flying kiss. I didn't want it to end.


Vanessa's POV*

I couldn't believe how much I felt connected to him. Almost as if this was just meant to be. Maybe Val was right, maybe theres a connection I didn't see. As much as I didn't want to break the connection, I needed to know why he kissed me. I didn't want to have my ultimate crush be the thing that crushes me. I just didn't know what the outcome would be. It had to be done though.

"Zacky, why'd you kiss me? Not that I have a problem or anything but why now if you said you 'had' feelings for me?" I asked him pulling away a little. Hoping for the best situation possible. I didn't want to ruin things between me and Zacky. We just made up for crying out loud.

"To be honest, when I seen you at Guitar Center the feelings sort of rushed back. When I was younger I didn't want to go for it cause, well I was a dumbass and didn't want a relationship while becoming a rockstar. But then you showed up and I regretted not being with you in the start. I like you Nessa, I don't think I ever stopped. Even when I was with Gena, I'd wonder what you were up to. I'm sorry for being forward with the kiss. I understand if you don't feel the same." He admitted to me.

"I should have told you back then too. I was hugely crushing on you when I was younger. Especially when we were always together cause you were teaching me how to play. I just never thought you would ever feel the same about me. I mean look at Gena, shes the type of girl I pictured you with. Not me. I kissed you the other night because I'd been dying to hear that. I still like you too Zacky." I poured my heart out to him and it felt good to finally say it.

"How about I take you on a real date, Nessa? See where this could go?" He asked me. Was this really happening?

"I'd love to!" I exclaimed.

He wrapped me in his arms again and we laid back to look at the stars. He told me about his crazy stories about "The Gynecologist." It was his favorite guitar but somehow it kept getting stolen and returned to him on tour so he just decided not to use it anymore. I found this funny. We just talked about random things. He asked me about why I didn't stay in Huntington.

"I wanted to live my dreams. Los Angeles seemed like a good place to start. I took a couple singing lessons my senior year, so I started writing my own music. Then when I built my clientel L.A noticed me and I jumped right on it."

"Thats crazy Nessa, but I'm happy for you! I can try to help you out too." He told me.

The night continued on like this. Talking about different things. Before I knew it we both fell asleep.
