Brian's P.O.V

"Fuck! WHY! Why in the fuck does he do these things!!" I yelled pissed off at my father. What the fuck goes through his mind; does he not get that all of this could have fucking went down without hurting Erin? I walked over to Erin and she smiled a little.

"Erin I swear I am so sorry that my father did this to you it will not happen again" I said trying to plead for her forgiveness. She took me off guard when she gave me a big cheesy smile.

"Brian it's really okay; I am alive so it's all good. Yeah it stings like a bitch but I will get over it; I just need to get some rest" She said with droopy eyes. I turned to all the ladies.

"Would all you ladies take Erin inside and to bed; I need to speak with the band I know that she probably needs sleep" I said and they nodded and helped Erin up. I saw Zack go over to her and he kissed the top of her head and smiled as the girls pulled her away. As soon as the door to the house shut I started my plea for the forgiveness from the guys.

"I didn't know that he was going to be like that guys; he usually doesn't get set off so easily" I said calmly.

"It's not your fault Syn; honestly I have never seen your father be that brutal to anyone that close to you or to us. It almost seems like he was warned about this or that he had to act a certain way with her. We have a lot of things to figure out and who knows how much time before Jake tries to come for her" Zack said.

"I agree; we just need to try to get our heads clear first so we can go into this with fresh eyes. I have a feeling that there will be time and that not everything will play out in the next two days" Matt said. I was relieved to hear that they weren't mad at me.

Matt's P.O.V

"Alright so who is going to stay with Erin tonight?" I asked knowing that not all of us needed to be there.

"I will do it" Zack said jumping on the opportunity to be alone with her. I smiled and nodded.

"Alright so the plan is that we take a few days to clear our heads and do what we want to do and then we will all come up with a game plan to take down Jake?" Brian said going over the plan again.

"Yes; there has to be a way to get Erin to remember what happened. We will figure it out but right now let's all just go home. Good night guys" I said and we all went our separate ways.

Erin's P.O.V

The girls sat there fixing things up for me trying to make me more comfortable but I really just needed a little space to try and breathe and get through this shock.

"Erin we are so sorry that you are going through all of this; just know that we are all on your side and we will fight alongside the guys for you. I wanted to start by telling you that all of us are angels Erin. Kim and Lacy are an angels in training but they are really strong and should be getting their gifts soon" Val said and they all continued what they were doing and I almost felt like I couldn't breathe.

"Ladies please stop I am fine" I said softly but of course they kept going.

"PLEASE give me five minutes to myself! I am fine!" I suddenly yelled making them step back away from me and out the door. I lied there on the bed just staring at the ceiling; this was nice just having some alone time in my room; although right now I wish that Zack was holding me. I shook my head and closed my eyes trying to clear my thoughts. I heard a knock on my bedroom door; I kept my eyes closed.

"Come on in" I said and I heard footsteps on my hardwood floor. I felt the bed moved down a little on the left side and I opened my eyes and it was Zack. He smiled at me contently and moved a little bit of my hair behind my ear. I smiled back at him.

"So who all is still here?" I asked turning on to my side.

"It is just me; everyone decided to go home and get some rest and just clear their minds. Not to mention the girls noticed that you needed some time to calm down" He said giggling a little and then got up from the bed.

"Where are you going?" I asked wondering why he had gotten up.

"I am going to go sleep on the couch so that I don't disturb you" He said starting to head for the door.

"You could just sleep in my bed" I said softly and he turned to me and walked back over to the bed. I smiled at him and then got up and stripped down to just my bra and underwear while he stripped down to only his boxers. I looked at all the sexy tattoos that covered his body and just how built he was and then I saw him smiling while looking me up and down. I sat down on the bed and motioned for him to sit down next to me; he sat down and scooted to where I was.

"You're gorgeous Erin" He said reaching out and stroking my cheek. I put my hand on top of his and he closed his eyes breathing in deeply. He ran his nails softly up my arms and grabbed the straps of my bra and pulled them so they were off my shoulders. He kissed the upper part of my breasts and I arched my back and he quickly unhooked the back of my bra and pulled it off of me throwing it across the bedroom. "Zack?" I called out trying to figure out what was going on. I went into the kitchen to only find Papa Gates sitting at my dining room table. He smiled when he saw me and drank some coffee.

"We meet again Erin; where is everyone? I assumed that they would be watching you closely" He said looking around.

"I don't know where they are; Zack was here last night but he is gone right now" I said glaring at him.

"Erin I am not a bad guy; I am only doing my job. My son is a completely different person than me and he chose the angel road. But know that when I say that I won't reverse what I had done it is only for your safety" He said confusing me a little.

"But why is it a risk for me to know what is inside of me? How could that possibly be a bad thing?" I asked almost getting an attitude with him.

"It is a bad thing please just leave it at that my dear" He said getting up and walking over to me grabbing my arm. I pulled away a little motioning for him not to touch me but his grip only got stronger making me wince.

"Focus on how you are going to take down Jake because he is coming for you Erin" He said gazing into my eyes.

"Oh and by the way; your blood...was marvelous....next time you sleep with Mr. Vengeance you should let him have a taste" He said and dropped my arm. He walked over to the table and grabbed the hat that he was wearing and I sat there rubbing my arm trying to make the pain go away.

"If you need me call me....as Junior likes to say...I am the last resort; now when I leave you will remember a small piece of information" He said, smiled and then disappeared again.
I sat there in a daze..everything was hazy and I felt lightheaded and my brain was working in overdrive.

*"She has to be detained sir; she holds the key to all...the light...the darkness..." I heard someone say in the back of my mind.
"No...she is so much more than that...she will know nothing after this...hopefully she doesn't even remember being down her in the underworld with me..shame about her parents" I heard Papa Gates say*

I shook my head and came back to reality....Papa Gates is teasing me with this small amount of information...

But..what if he is just playing with my head...
