Chapter 47: Going Away
Erin’s P.O.V
I walked in to Papa Gates office and he had two of his soldiers in there and he looked up and smiled at me.
“Ah lovely you are back. Please do join us my dear, I was just talking to these two about a protection detail so that you can go up and do what you want without being bothered” He said and motioned for me to come to him. I went over and sat down on his lap and looked at the two guards.
“This is the woman that you will be protecting; I don’t need anything to happen to her before our vows” He said and then they both nodded and he motioned for them to leave the room. He stood me up and he made sure that the door was locked and he came over and ran his fingers through my hair.
“You are a stunning redhead; I love it” He said and then he walked behind me and pulled my hair to the side kissing my neck. I felt him take a deep breath in and just feel me.
“For this to work my love you really need to push as much of the angel out as you can. Then it will be easier for you to realize that you can learn to love me” He said rubbing my hips. I took a deep breath in and concentrated on pushing it out. He smiled and turned me to him and I was confused.
“Let me help you my dear; trust me this won’t hurt a bit” He said and he kissed me but he pulled away holding my jaw steady and I felt like the life was being sucked out of me. After a moment I stumbled into him and he held me tightly. I got up and regained my energy after a moment and looked at him… He turned me so that I could look in the mirror and my eyes were no longer green… they were a reddish brown and I was utterly confused but I saw things in a whole new light. I turned back to Papa Gates and he reached out and stroked my cheek and I oddly didn’t pull away.
“You my love are going to make one stunning queen” He said and he kissed me lightly and then pulled away. I smiled and he motioned for me to leave and I walked out and Jake was waiting to go in and just stared at me for a moment.
“What is with the stare?” I asked and he shrugged and walked into Papa Gates office. I walked around for a little while getting a feel for Hell since I was going to be living here for a while and Meaghan ran to me and was smiling.
“Let’s go look at some dresses” She said happily and I smiled and I nodded and we ended up once again on Main Street and we sat there trying on multiple dresses trying to find one perfect for the vows in a little under two days. I found this really pretty black one that was lacey and it was perfect and so I decided on that one and I knew that I could get it tailored while I was down there. We walked down to the beach and I got a text forwarded to me saying that there was an A7X concert tonight. I showed Meaghan the text and she was confused.
“How would you like to crash an A7X concert with me?” I said deviously and she smiled and she agreed. I looked at the time and noticed that if we wanted to make our little entrance we would need to get there right now. We teleported to the huge venue and charmed our way in without tickets and walked through the crowd. About halfway up I heard the song Hail to the King start and I instantaneously stopped in my tracks wanting to just listen to the song. I noticed that people were moshing and I could smell the blood that was being shed from the roughness. I walked into the mosh pit knowing that I was able to hold my own and this guy got pushed into me and he smiled and he had this big cut on his lip almost like he got punched in the face and I tried to hold back but I licked his upper lip tasting the warm blood that fell from his lip. I stopped and pulled back and Meaghan nodded at me giving me the okay and I covered his mouth and bit into his neck slowly so that he didn’t yell and I stopped after a moment not wanting to go too far. I walked back over to Meaghan and she pulled out a tissue and I wiped the blood from my face. We continued forward towards the front of the crowd and we were staring right at the guys. After a moment Matt spotted me while Brian continued with his solo and he motioned for me to come on stage and I shook my head no. He persisted by hopping off the stage and grabbing my hand and pulling me up there. I stood there and Matt started singing again.
“There’s a taste of fear…. When the henchmen call… Iron fist to tame the land…. Iron first to claim it all” He sang to me pacing around me and went on with the song. Zack sat there playing his guitar seriously and came over towards me and then Syn ended up on the other side of me and I felt even more surrounded when Johnny came up behind me. I felt a little worried and so I looked down at Meaghan and noticed that she had disappeared. WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON! The song ended and the stage went black and I felt everyone grab me tightly and I wiggled trying to break free and then I felt someone tall hovering over me…. Jimmy. I was unsure of what was going on but I teleported into the crowd and the lights came on and the light revealed Jimmy to the mass amount of people who just gazed at him in shock. Meaghan came over to me and I gave her a look.
“You need to go with them Erin… they are only doing what is best for you… You don’t want this” She said and I was confused at why she was helping the guys. I saw Zack come up to me and I backed up a little bit knowing that this was who I am now and he needed to let go of me completely. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I smelled the same perfume that I remembered from growing up in Heaven… Izzy. I didn’t look back I just stood there and just as I tried to teleport again she grabbed my hair and she stuck this syringe needle in me and I was unable to move…. No teleporting…. She drugged me… THEY drugged me. I saw Zack come in front of me with Jimmy and things were just a little fuzzy and Jimmy held my face checking things out.
“She has taken in human blood… Izzy… You know what to do” He said and I couldn’t get a reaction in. I was paralyzed basically and it was annoying. Izzy came around and she pulled this long dagger out and I tensed up and took a deep breath channeling what power I had left and the fuzziness subsided and I broke free and pushed through the people behind me and I heard Izzy running behind me. Halfway down the block I stopped and ran into an alley and Izzy and I stood there just staring at one another.
“I have to give you some credit Erin… You are pretty strong if you can withstand the same drugs that got you killed the first time… What the hell is going on with you Erin? I don’t understand what possibly could have fucking happened after you and Zack got home but why would it equal you running off with Papa Gates?” She said and I just stood there shrugging it off because I was a different person…
“That’s the thing… Zack can’t say one word about it because he fucking let me go. You don’t even realize what the fuck happened. How much the whole thing pained me; because believe me I fucking love the Zack and I would do anything for him. But watching him break like that and the fact that he just didn’t say a word was enough for me to know that he may not be able to do this” I said and I was tearing up. I was losing it.
“We can resolve this Erin! JUST COME HOME” She yelled coming closer to me and grabbing my hand. I loved my bestfriend but I wanted her to be safe… to be happy and just live her life out with Jimmy. I stood there crying a little because this really really pained me more than anyone even knew.
“You wanna take me down Izzy… Then do it… I am begging you. Take me out of this mess; I never wanted any of this.” I said and she stood there analyzing and processing the words that came out of my mouth. She didn’t move at all; she just stood there frozen because deep down I knew that she really didn’t have the guts to take me out. I walked forward and walked past her and right as I teleported she dug the knife in my back. I was mid teleport when it happened but I still ended up on the floor in hell. The guards ran over to me and picked me up and carried me to their infirmary area. After a few moments Papa Gates walked in.
“I am impressed with you my love. You get stabbed with not only a high dose of poison and a poisonous blade and yet you still find a way back to me. Don’t worry my queen I will make all the pain go away now. You just sleep and relax” Gates said to me rubbing my hair and I drifted into the darkness…
