Chapter 41: The Killer In Me
Erin’s P.O.V
Just like Papa Gates said to me I woke up in my house. I could hear talking downstairs and the moment that I shot up in the bed I felt breathless. I went and looked in the mirror and my hair seemed a little darker and my eyes were a deeper shade of green but once again my skin was flawless. I felt strong and powerful as well… I looked at the blood on my shirt and went to my closet and grabbed some white skinny jeans and a blue tank top and I walked towards the stairs. I stood back a moment to analyze who was all in the house.
“So they just teleported you away from her? Why the fuck did you even decide to fucking go Zack?” I heard Iz yell. I used my senses to feel if there was anyone there besides Zack and Izzy but I didn’t feel anyone else.
“He went down there so Papa Gates could shed some light on the fact that he has been messing with our fucking heads. EVERYTHING led to this…. I am ready to fucking end that man” I said and both of them watched me in shock as I went into the kitchen grabbing some Jack Daniels from the fridge.
“Who wants some?” I asked and they both raised their hands. I grabbed three glasses and set them down and filled them up. I took most of mine down right away because I was livid with Papa Gates. I finished it off. I poured a little more and took it down like a shot and they both just watched me as I fell apart a little bit.
“What the hell is going on with you?” Zack said grabbing my glass before I could pour some more into the glass. I took a huge drink out of the bottle feeling the burn.
“There is something different about her” Izzy said and I turned to her and then hugged her and then she pulled away.
“You also don’t feel right; Erin I think that you need to sit down and tell me what happened after they took Zack away from you” Izzy said and she was dead serious which means that she meant business. I didn’t sit down I just paced around the living room recounting everything that has just happened to me. I walked over to Zack and slapped him.
“You got what you wanted...” I said and he looked really confused. I sat down and rubbed my newly long and dark hair.
“Sweetie please; calm down and tell me why the hell you just slapped your husband” Izzy said and I shot her an evil glare but then I snapped out of it. What the fuck was wrong with me? Slapping Zack and giving an evil glare to the girl who has helped out through so much….
“I am so sorry I really don’t know why I am being such a bitch. I really think maybe it is because Papa Gates turned me… The vampire side is back” I said and they both just backed up.
“So his blood is inside of you?” Izzy asked looking at me and then at Zack. I nodded and Izzy ran across to Matt’s house and Zack stood there frozen and he looked terrified of me. I saw Matt and Brian come into the house and Brian took one look at me and then ran over to me checking my eyes.
“Oh shit” He said rubbing my hair and he noticed the welt like mark on my neck. He looked at Zack and around the room and he went down to my basement and I did not know what the hell was going on right now. They were all scaring me. Brian came back up with duct tape in his hands and I shot up and freaked out.
“What the hell are you going to do with that Brian?” I asked backing up and Zack held me and I could tell that he was torn about this. He sighed and he turned me to him and he put my arms behind my back.
“I am so sorry Erin; but this is going to be for your own good. The tape is temporary until I run and grab the right type of chains” Brian said and I felt him tightly tape my wrists. He picked me up making me squeal in surprise and he carried me up to the room. Matt and Zack stayed with me while Brian ran home. I sat there uncomfortable with the ton of tape that Brian used as a precaution.
“Does anyone want to tell me why the hell I am being treated like a freaking hostage?” I asked. Zack was completely shattered and freaking out. Matt sighed as Zack kept quiet.
“Erin you are considered a threat right now” Matt said. Great now because I have been turned by Papa Gates he has made me look like a fricken criminal… just what I fucking needed.
“God damnit you need to let me go! All you are doing is making me vulnerable!” I said trying to break the duct tape but no luck with how much Brian used. I saw Brian walk through the door and I saw the massive chains that he had with him. I could smell something odd and Brian looked like he was going nuts having to do this.
“This will burn Erin I am so so sorry” He said and I braced myself and he ripped the duct tape off and replaced it. I felt the searing pain on my wrists and then he put it on my legs as well. I screamed because it hurt really bad.
“FUCK!” I yelled and Izzy ran upstairs and she was crying at the sight of her bestfriend.
“I am so sorry Erin…. Please forgive me” Brian said with sorrow and he took everyone out of the room except Zack. He looked at me and I felt so much pain that I was crying.
“I love you Erin… don’t forget that” He said and walked out of the room.
