Erin's P.O.V

When I woke up the sun was shining through the windows was nearly blinding but nice; I smelled coffee in the distance and walked downstairs to where I heard humming. I walked into the kitchen and noticed that Hayley was making breakfast and Zack was sitting at the table drinking coffee and reading a magazine.

“Good morning?” I said almost questioning how I was the only one who had just woken up. Zack looked over and smiled at me and I went over and kissed him lightly.

“Oh Erin I am making omelets! Do you want one?” She asked rather chipper. I just stared for a moment and then nodded.

“Sure; why is everyone so awake and happy this morning?” I asked sitting down at the dining room table.

“I don’t know but Hayley is such a blast!” Zack said grabbing me some coffee. I took a sip and felt a little bit better afterwards. I ate and looked at the clock and noticed it was 11:20.

“I gotta go get dressed” I said and kissed Zack again and ran upstairs grabbing some skinny jeans and a white t-shirt. I let my hair down and shook it out letting the curliness come through. I put some sandals on and grabbed a light jacket and ran downstairs grabbing my phone. Zack came over to me after pausing the video game that he was playing with Hayley.

“Here you can take my car; be careful. Promise me that you will call me if anything bad happens?” He asked.

“Of course” I said and walked to the car that was oddly parked in my driveway. I drove down Main street trying to find a parking spot. When I did I sat there taking a breath making sure that I was ready to face Papa Gates after leaving the way I did. I got out and walked down the road and saw him sitting at the table with Jake and Meaghan which made me a little nervous. I sat down slowly making sure that nothing was gonna happen.

“I was wondering if you were going to show up or whether you were just going to defy us again. I am surprised that you didn’t teleport yourself here” Papa Gates said. I could tell that he was still upset about me running off.

“Aww, is someone still mad at me for running off like I did; did someone not get their way” I said almost mocking him.

“Shut your mouth right now before I make you pay for that last statement” He said getting really angry with me.

“No I think that you need to realize that your little trick to make me forget isn’t going to hold forever and I will know everything. That is unless you have something to tell me sir” I said and ordered a coffee.

“For the last time we are not going to tell you anything” Jake said and I got up after the barista gave me my coffee.

“Well then there was no need for this talk so buh-bye” I said starting to walk away.

“Wait” I heard Papa Gates say and I smiled and walked over to him and leaned to his face.

“Tell me why I should wait” I said making sure that I kept his attention. I am hoping that since he knows I can teleport he is a little afraid of me.

“Sit down” He said calmly and I sat down and folded my hands together on the small table. Meaghan shot me an evil glare and I just smiled while still looking at Papa Gates.

“I know that you are going to wipe that smug look off your pretty little face Meaghan or I will do it for you and you will not like the way it happens” I said raising my eyebrows. Papa Gates cocked his head to the side and laughed.

“Alright Erin you have certainly made you point; I will tell you a little bit of what you can do and then we will disappear for a little while” Papa Gates said coming closer to me.

“Oh what you aren’t gonna have your two little bitches tell me?” I said just watching Jake and Meaghan out of the corner of my eyes. Papa Gates stopped smiling and put his hand on mine.

“Once you get home; you will remember 3 different traits. These will come in handy while you realize that soon you are going to have to defend yourself. We will get what we want Erin” He said and just like that he was gone. I finished my coffee and then went for a long walk down the beach just to clear my head. When I got home the whole band was in my living room and waiting for me.

“Erin where were you? You were gone like 3 hours” Matt said breaking the silence. I sat there just watching but yet everything was silent. I walked upstairs and to my bedroom locking the door behind me and I went into almost a catatonic state. My mind once again went into overdrive.

*"She isn't even old enough to know what she is or what she can do!" I heard a woman yell.
"She is going to figure out one day; and when she does she is going to be in danger! Do you realize that every single demon would kill to have the power that she has" A man shouted back at her.
"She is our daughter and we will protect her as long as we can; when she realizes that her heart contains a multitude of gifts then she will be most wanted; hell I am pretty sure that she already is" The woman said. I felt a little bit of a shock and power running through my veins during the darkness. My eyes opened and I could see the man and the woman who were talking about me. It was my parents; my mother with long dark brown hair and my father with buzzed hair and looked like hell from being in the underworld.
"We love you honey; you are beautiful and powerful and you will always remember who you are whether a demon says so or not. You just have to remember" The woman said looking down at me. I closed my eyes taking in her voice; she was so beautiful.*

I felt another shock that was bigger this time and when I opened my eyes again I was lying down on my bed in the room and I shot up gasping for air.

"Fucking hell" I said to myself. I got up and opened the door and everyone was still waiting. Arin pushed through them.

"You" He said almost out of breath like my thoughts were louder than ever before. Everyone sat there watching him. I smiled and nodded.

"What do you mean her?" Brian asked trying to make sense of it like anyone else.

"Come downstairs with me Brian" I said and he followed me downstairs. Everyone was almost to the end of the staircase when I put my hand out.

"Stop" I said and they all just stopped.

"Alright Brian; come at me" I said calmly. He sat there confused and a little worried by my sudden actions.

"I could seriously hurt you Erin; I am a hell of a lot stronger than you" He said and I went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife and cut my hand and came back into the living room. Brian tensed up and tried so hard not to come towards me.

"Erin please stop; you don't know what you are doing" I heard Johnny call out. And suddenly Brian lost control and came at me and took a nice snap towards my wrist but I moved to the side and he crashed into my wall. I stood next to him and he was still in vampire mode. I picked him up by the collar of his shirt and held him in the air.

"What the fuck is going on!" Brian asked coming back to his normal self. I slowly set him back down on the ground and then showed him my hand. It was completely healed. Everyone was trying to come down the stairs but they still couldn't. I motioned for them to move and they came over and looked at me like I was nuts.

"Matt I would love to go at it with you; since you are the strongest and all; I am doing this because we are about to fight and we need to be ready" I said to all of them.

"So wait what all do you know?" Matt asked coming over to me.

"She is starting to channel at least three more of her powers and she knows that her parents said that it is located within her heart. Depending on how powerful she is...it could be hours or a few days before she remembers everything and has broken down all of Papa Gates barriers" Arin said answering Matt. Matt sat there thinking for a moment. I touched his shoulder so that I could feel what he was feeling.

*So Erin is miss all powerful but how the hell is she going to go up against all those fucking demons...I don't want her hurt or dying. She deserves a life just like everyone else and besides Zack loves her and they have a connection. This could kill him she fails. God but she is so strong and it would be so fun going a couple rounds with her* Matt thought inside his mind. I sat there and then I hugged him tightly.

"You don't have to worry about me Matt; I am not alone in this. I love you all and I promise that I will make it through all of this" I said and then he hugged me back knowing that I just heard everything that was inside of his mind.

"Alright let's get a couple rounds in...I wanna see what you can do" Matt said.

And so I begin the path of remember...who I am...who I used to be....and what I will become.

The next chapter wont be up until tomorrow probably later in the day cause I want to make it pretty big and really explain some things.
