What I Didn't Expect
New Life, New Crush
Cassie's POV
The next morning I woke up in my room; wondering who put me there. I started thinking about last night, who Zacky was cuddling with me. Smiling I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 10:38. I got up, going in the bathroom. I took a shower and started to dry my hair. I got dress and went downstairs. When I got there, I saw Matt making some coffee. I went over to him and touched his shoulder. He jumped, looking at me, like a was a ghost or something.
"I'm sorry Matt. Did I scare you?" I asked, giggling
"Of course not." He said, sitting at the table, looking at me, telling me to sit down "So...did you slept well?"
"Yeah, I did. Did you?" He nodded "By the way who put me in bed last night?"
"Me!" He said, smiling. A 'aww' came out of my mouth "It's my job to take care of you"
"Wait...you carried me upstairs?"He nodded
"You didn't have to. You could have just wake me up"
"I know but I didn't want to wake you up"
"They never told me that Matt Sanders was a good dad"
"Just trying to do my best" he said, shrugging lightly.
The room started to get very quiet he didn't say anything else, neither did I. After a while he got up, opened the fridge and asked
"What do you want for breakfast?"
"You can sit down, I'll make breakfast"
"No you're not" he said, protesting
"Yes I am. Sit down!"
"But you can't-"
"No, sit down!" I said, firmly. He sat down, sighing, knowing that I wouldn't give up. I got up, went over and opened the fridge and got the ingredients out to make breakfast. I started mixing the ingredients, when we heard someone coming down the stairs. It was Alex and the rest of the guys.
"Good morning" I said, smiling widely
Everyone said there 'hello' and went to the table, sitting down.
"What are you making Cassie?" Brian asked
"You'll see" I replied
All of them started talking and I got back to my cooking. I finished cooking and said
"Breakfast is ready" I said, putting plates full of pancakes, eggs and bacon.
"Thank you Cass" Zacky said. I smiled widely looking like a idiot at what he said. Nobody never called me like that, it was so cute.
We all began to eat. Brian started whispering things to Alex, making her laugh. We all looked at her curiously. She didn't say nothing. She just waved us off.
"So what are we doing today daddy?" Alex asked Jimmy
"I don't know. It'll depend on Matt" Jimmy said
"Later, we can have a barbecue here. Brian can come with Michelle, Jimmy with Leana, Johnny with his 'friend' and Zacky with Gena" when he said the last part my heart dropped to my feet.
"I don't feel good. I'm going upstairs" I said. I got up, ran up the stairs and went to my room. I heard everybody yelling my name but I didn't bother to look back. I got in the room, went over to the bed and started crying 'why am I crying? He don't like me. I'm just his friend's daughter' I thought to myself. I started crying even more, knowing that he had a girlfriend or even worse; a wife.
