What I Didn't Expect
The Meeting
The next day, I woke up early because of those stupid nightmares. It was always the same one. I sat up and looked at the clock. It was 7:30 am. I got up and went to the bathroom. I started to take a shower. When I was done I took my towel, wrapped it around me and started to dry my hair. When my hair wasn't wet anymore, I curled it. I took my white and blue dress, my blue heart necklace, some black shoes and put some lip gloss on. When I was done it was 9:15; almost time for the people to start visiting.
It was going to be a long day. I had to stop thinking about the fact that I didn't know if they'll like me, so went to Alex's room to talk. When I opened the door there was no one, so I went downstairs and took breakfast. I saw Jane so I went to talk to her. She was always lovely. She was like a mother to me and beyond beautiful.
"Cassie it's almost time for visit. Are you ready sweety?"
"Yeah! But did you see Alex?"
"Yes! She already got a visit"
"Oh my god, I'm so happy for her!! Can I know who is it?"
"You will see soon enough."
"Ok I gotta go now. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Ok. Love you"
"Love you too"

I was in my room listening to Avenged Sevenfold like always; when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" I said I didn't even bother to look at the door. I heard a guy laugh and said "Well, I think we have a fan over here" I recognized that voice and turned around. When I did my heart started to beat faster. It was AVENGED FUCKING SEVENFOLD. I wanted to scream, cry but I couldn't. I looked at them, shock showing in my eyes.
"Hey Cassandra, my name's-" Matt started but I cut him off by saying "Matt Sanders, M. Shadows! And you're Zacky, Brian, Jimmy and Johnny" I said the last part pointing to each one of them. They all smiled at me.
"Well, nice to know that you know your uncles and dad's name already" Johnny said while laughing.
"Its normal to- what? My uncles? Dad?" I ask chocked
"Yeah. I don't know yet. I think we're going home with you tomorrow" when those words left his mouth, I couldn't helped but squealed. They all laugh softly at me when I hugged them. They hugged me back."I'm starting to like this kid" Brian said.
We continued to talk. I learned a lot of things about them. Soon enough it was time for them to go home. I hugged them again and they went downstairs. I stayed in my room and started to think that tomorrow I will go home with Avenged Sevenfold. I started to think that they already like me and maybe some day they will love me. I shook my head, got up and went to Alex's room.
I knocked and went inside. She hugged me the second that she saw me. "Guess who's adopting me!?" We said at the same time. "Avenged Sevenfold" we said again at the same time again. We started to jump around and stuff. It was so joyful to know that maybe we (Al and I) will be living in the same house and see each other every day.
"So tell me who's adopting you?"She asked sitting on her bed. I followed her movements.
"Matt Sanders you know M. Shadows and you?" I replied
"You're so lucky. James Sullivan; Jimmy!" she said."When are you going home!?"
"Tomorrow I think. You too. We're going home together. Maybe we'll see each other everyday." We started to squeal again. We were so loud that we didn't hear Jane who was standing at the door frame. "You guys are so loud" she said
I got up and made my way over to her slowly. "You!" I said pointing my finger at her playfully."You knew everything didn't you?"
She was trying to look confuse but she failed. "Me!? What are you talking about?"
I glared at her and she laugh loudly saying "Ok,ok I knew everything"
I hugged her tightly and whispered "I love you"
"I love you too" she said softly. I pulled away and went back to the bed. She did the same thing."So you guys have to pack your things for tomorrow."
"What time are they picking us up" Alex asked.
"They told me that they're picking you up around 10. I got to go back to work. I'll see you guys tomorrow." She got up and went downstairs.
I laid in Alex's bed for a while and went back to my room. I started to pack my things. When I was done I changed into some pj's and went to sleep.
