Fighting
Jess stood there and stared at me for a few minutes before he even blinked his eyes. He looked between Matt and I. Over and over and over again. Then his eyes finally landed on the ring on my finger. I followed his gaze and then lifted my hand up in front of my face. He looked like he couldn’t believe it. "Believe it Jess. Matt wants me to marry him and he wants to help me raise the baby. Right Matt?" Jess looked back at Matt, who had his arms wrapped around me.
"Yeah. I want to be here for her and the baby." That was all it took. As soon as the words left Matt's mouth, Jess ran at him and punched him. Matt pushed me out of the way and punched Jess back. Jess tackled him and they rolled around on the floor. They knocked the coffee table over and my Chinese food. Matt punched Jess in the gut and Jess retaliated by hitting Matt in the balls. Oh, it was over then. Jess had won that round. When Jess stood up, I went over to him and punched him in the face. He fell down on the ground and looked up at me.
"THAT’S WHAT YOU GET, YOU JACKASS! I TELL YOU THAT IM GETTING MARRIED TO THE FATHER OF MY CHILD AND THEN YOU BEAT HIM UP?! I DONT THINK SO!" Then I looked at Matt. "AND THEN YOU! YOU FIGHTING HIM BACK?! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! I KNOW ITS SELF-DEFENSE, BUT THAT’S MY BROTHER." I looked at the both of them. "NOW YOU TWO BETTER STOP BEFORE I HURT YOU BOTH!"
I ran upstairs to my room and slammed the door and locked it. I fell on my bed and cried. How could my brother and my fiancé fight? My brother should be happy for me.

How do you know that?
[i]Because you mean a lot to them and their not going to screw this up for you because of them fighting.[/i] Just as my conscience said that, someone knocked on my door.
[i]Talk to them and listen to what they have to say. Go on now.[/i] I walked over to the door and let Matt and Jess enter my room.
