As the days passed it got better. The first week was the hardest. Zoe and I both didn't make it to work. We both stayed at my house eating ice cream. We weren't use to it. Plus, I was getting sick a lot. I wasn't use to feeling this way. I never pictured it to be this hard. Zack has been gone for almost two months, but it's felt like two years. Every night I received calls from him. He was always so happy to talk to me. I've never been in a relationship like this before.

"Zoe," I looked at my good friend sitting next to me on my couch. We had a day off today, which was very much needed.

"Yeah," she replied.

"I think we should go see them," I told her.

She looked at me. "We can't leave the shop like that," she said. "Ian would kill us," she said.

"Yeah I know," I said looking down. I knew we could never just get up and go out and see them, especially now that they are on the East coast.

"I know you miss him Lex don't worry okay he'll be home soon," she said. I nodded. I zoned out on the TV. We were watching that show Skins. Kind of reminded me of my teenaged years. I drifted off into a small sleep.

I woke up minutes later by realizing I had fallen asleep. I stood up. "I need to get my mind off of things," I told Zoe.

"What do you mean," she asked. My phone started to ring. It was Zack. Finally, I haven't talked to him all day and it was getting close to six o'clock.

"Hello," I answered happily.

"Hey what are you doing," he asked.

"Standing here about to go out with Zoe. What are you doing," I asked him.

"I sent you something go check outside for it," he said anxious. I looked at Zoe and smiled. What could he possibly send me?

"What," Zoe whispered. I held up my finger telling her to hold on one second.

"Okay," I said. I walked over to the door and opened and there he was standing there.

"Surprise," he said excited. I squealed and jumped into his arms. I was never this happy to see anyone in my life. "We got a few days off," he said walking in. "Zoe get your ass out there Brian's waiting for you," Zack told her. She jumped up and ran out as quickly as she could. I wrapped my arms around Zack's neck and placed a kiss upon his lips. Tears fell from my eyes. Zack looked deep into my eyes. "I love you Lex," he said smiling. "I'm so happy to see you," he said.

"Oh Zack I love you too and I couldn't be happier," I told him.

Me and Zack spent a couple hours together before we headed over to Johnny's for a party. When we got to JC's house there were already a lot of people. Zack pulled up and we got out. He walked over to me and wrapped his arm around me as we walked in.

"Lex," Jimmy yelled. He ran up and gave me a hug.

"Hey Jimmy," I said happily. It was great having everyone back. I know it's only temporary but fuck it was still amazing. Johnny waved me over. I walked over to him and smiled.

"Hey JC," I said giving him a hug. I looked over and Sarah was standing there. "You guys still together," I asked nicely. He nodded.

"Fuck yeah. Our split was only a few days," he said.

"That's awesome," I said.

"You happy Zack's back," he asked.

"Well no shit," I said laughing.

"Well don't stand here go over there and be with him. I just wanted to say hello and I wanted a hug," he said laughing.

"Okay," I chuckled and walked back to Zack. He was standing with Jimmy and Val.

The rest of the night consisted of us partying and getting drunk, like always. Later that night around two in the morning me and Zack left JC's and went back to his house. This was the first time of me being at his house! I never really understood why? I stumbled in house drunk as shit. All I can remember is going into his room and laying down. I guess I blacked out.

I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. I remembered passing out at Zack's, but that was it. I didn't know what time I fell asleep or anything that happened. I looked over to see if Zack was next to me, he wasn't. I got out of bed and walked out to the hallway and started looking for him. I walked into the living room and he was asleep on the couch. Why was he on the couch and not in bed with me? I walked over to him and touched the side of his face and kissed his forehead. He opened his eyes.

"Good morning," I said excited. He didn't say anything. "Did I do something," I asked.

He sighed and rolled his eyes. "You don't remember, huh," he said sitting up. I shook my head. "That's what I figured. Just next time we have sex please don't tell me you wished I was Brian," he said.

I widened my eyes. "Did I say that," I asked shocked.

He nodded. "Oh my god Zee I'm sorry," I said.

"Don't worry about it you were wasted," he said shrugging his shoulders.

"No I have to worry about it. That's not right," I said starting to cry. He lowered down to my eye level.

"Don't cry Lex. I know you love me and I know you don't want Brian. You were drunk and we all say stupid shit when we're wasted," he said wiping a tear off my cheek. I put my face into my hands and sobbed a little bit. He grabbed me into a hug. "I promise you it'll be okay," he said.

"I think I'm gonna be sick," I said running to the bathroom. I barely made it to the toilet. Zack ran in after me. "Sorry," I said after I was finished.

"Are you okay," he asked.

"Yeah," I said standing up.

"Here go lay down I'll make you some soup," he said helping me out of the bathroom and into my room.

The rest of the day consisted of Zack insisting I stay in bed. I don't know why he was I felt fine.

It was the day they had to start back up on tour except this time they were going to Europe and everywhere. Zack cupped my face. "Here's the good part," he said.

"What," I said confused.

"You're coming with," he said excited.

"Zack I can't the shop, my clients," I told him.

"I already talked to Ian he said you really need a vacation. You've been working done stop for four months Lex," he said.

"Are you sure you want me to come," I asked. He nodded. "But none of my stuff is packed or anything," I told him.

"That's why I already packed it for you while you were sleeping," he said. How did I not notice that this morning? I have no idea! I smiled at him.

"I'm excited," I said.

"Good cause just think about it now," he said. "Just five months out in other countries," he said. "And we can on our days off go explore and everything," he said happily.

I looked at him and smiled. "Sounds great," I said. He wrapped his arm around me and we walked to the bus. Zoe and Brian were saying their goodbyes. I also went and said goodbye to her. She was so happy that I was going. She didn't want to go because of the shop and the jealousy she probably would have. I understood completely.

We all piled in the bus. It was pretty nice. There was a small table area on the right then on the left a couch. You walked back there was the bathroom and then the very back was all their bunks. It was pretty bad ass. Just couldn't imagine how this would go with all of us in here.

"So Lex you excited," Brian asked me as I was getting settled in the best I could. I turned and looked at him. I nodded.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"Well I'm glad you got this opportunity," he said sitting on his bunk.

"Me too Bri," I said.

"I missed you. I didn't really see you after we got back," he said.

"Yeah I know I've been sick for some odd reason. Zack insisted I stayed inside and everything," I said laughing.

"You really brought out Zack’s good side," he said laughing.

"What do you mean," I asked.

"He's so not a bad ass anymore," he said laughing.

"Oh Brian you know he is," I said.

"Yeah," he said laughing. "Zacky Vengeance will never ever be a softy," he said laughing. I joined in with the laugh. I smiled at him.

"I'm glad to see you happy again Bri," I said.

"Same goes to you," he said. Zack came barging through.

"What's going back here," he said laughing and kissing me on the cheek.

We then drove out to the airport and started our trip.
