2 - Girl I Know
Alexandria's POV
When we got back to work, we were surprised when all the guys were there, waiting for us.
"How's our lovebirds?" Jimmy teased. I felt my cheeks began to heaten up at his comment.
"Wow, Zacky's already making a move." Johnny added. This is just making me blush more.
"Um, we are not dating or anything." I clarified, earning four 'yeah right' look from the guys.
Zacky didn't say anything at all but gave me a smile. We all returned to work and the guys began to play one of their written work. I have to say, they are very talented.
We worked for quite a while. Occasionally, my mind drifted to think about what will happen tonight. I mean, I am going on a fucking date with a rock star that i have a crush on since i know when. Oh my god.
Getting a bit tired, i got up from my chair and head to the pantry and started to make myself a cup of coffee. I stood there waiting until i felt a person standing behind me. I turned around. It turns out Zacky's right behind me.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey beautiful. What cha doing?"
"Making coffee, want one?"
"Why not?"
While waiting for the coffee to brew, we stood next to each other waiting in complete silence. This is kinda awkward and I kinda have the urge to hug him right now. I don't know why.
When the coffee finished, I poured both of us a cup. I was about to leave when Zacky grabbed my arm and pulled me to him. Lucky, my cup of coffee isn't full to the top or he will be soaked in hot liquid.
I was a bit shocked at his action, and more shocked when he pressed a kiss on my lips. A million thoughts are going through my mind. Should i return the kiss? I mean i like him and all but we just met today, if you consider ignoring the fact that i was a touring member for them before. Unsurprisingly, i returned the kiss. I slowly parted my lips and felt his tongue in my mouth. It went on for thirty seconds until Matt stumbled in.
Awkwardly, he began to walk towards the fridge, with his hand held up as if he is surrendering.
"Oops. You guys continued. I just want a coke." He got his coke and i can feel the embarrassment is rising. I can't tell if Zacky is embarrass. I mean if he is, he is not showing it. He just looked at me with his intense green eyes and smiled. Oh my gorgeous, i am about to melt on the spot.
Once Matt got out, he kissed me again. But this one didn't last as long as the others since we have to go back to work. Right before we open the door to the studio, he whispered against my ear,
"Seven O'clock. I will pick you up. Call me." and he slipped a piece of paper with his number on.
"Okay." I replied and he kissed me once more before he winked and walk into the studio.
Seeing Matt again remind me of what happened in the pantry. The kiss, it was amazing. I felt the electricity cursed through my veins. I felt as if we are perfect for each other. Just what we need. But i shook the thoughts of my head because work is what's most important right now.
When the clock hit 6, the band decided to leave for the night.
I head to my room and collected my things so that i can head home as soon as i can to prepare for tonight. I can't say i am not excited. I am beyond that. It's going to be the first date i have in half a year after my financee and i broke off our engagement. Before i left, however, my secretary called me again. I picked up the phone and answered,
"Sup?"
"Ms.Bren- i mean Alexandria, a man named Mr.Baker wanted to come in and see you."
"Let him in and you can go for the day. Thanks."
"No problem." and we end the phone call.
Within a minute, Zacky walked into my office and took the chair across from my leather one.
"Princess,"
"hmm?"
"Where's your house?"
I told him my address and stuff and we were both about to leave when he kissed me again. This kiss was short and innocent. Nothing like that hungry kiss in the pantry.
"I will see you later," i told him before i got in my BMW.
"Bye honey. Call me,"
I drove home as fast as i can and the moment i got home, i throw my bags down and head for the shower. I want to make sure i looked the best that i can for Zack. Suddenly, a thought popped up.
I have never been this worried about my outlook, not even with my ex. I mean, the only time i was this concerned was my first date before prom. Can i be hitting on him? I mean we kissed and shit...
Anyway, i went into my walk-in closet and picked out my outfit for the night. Zacky didn't tell me if we are eating formal or casual, so i just picked up a simple, yet classy lace black mid-sleeve dress with matching heels. I fixed my hair, decided to leave it natural and i am all set.
Waiting for Zacky, i sat on my couch and look around my house. It really is a mess. So i decided to fix bits and pieces. At least if Zacky walked in, it wouldn't look like a junkyard.
My house. Right, my house. I got this about a year and a half ago when i earned enough money. It's a beautiful condominium with three bedroom and two washrooms. I, myself of course take the massive master bedroom, while my brother thinks it's a good idea that whenever he is at California (he lives in Florida.), he should be at my place and eating all my food from my fridge.
The kitchen of my house is quiet nice but i rarely use it. Not because i don't know how to cook, but because of my hectic schedule when i was working as a touring technician.
About 10 more minutes later, a minute before 7 hits, I heard a knock on the door.
I opened up and in front of me, stood Zacky Baker in an all-black tux. HOLY SHIT. OVARY EXPLODED.
"Wow." I said, not believing what i saw.
"Wow is what i said too. You look great." He complimented me and hugged me.
"Can i be honest? You're hot." I said bluntly. It wasn't when he started laughing did I realized what i said. Shit.
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah, absolutely." I replied and after grabbing my clutch, we are heading to dinner. While walking down the corridor of my building, I lost my balance. Wearing fucking heels isn't my forte. But luckily, Zacky caught me by the waist before i fall.
"Thanks" I smiled at him. Funny thing is, he didn't bother to remove his hands of my waist. I like him.
Once we got in the car, i turned to ask Zacky,
"Where are we going?"
"I am glad you are dressed in formal. I don't know if you like casual so i booked this fancy smancy restaurant."
"Well, i am fine with casual too."
He chuckled. "Don't tell me we're going to KFC in a suit and a dress."
"That's fine with me, Mr.Baker. But since you booked the restaurant, It would be a pleasure for me to join you." I said in a fancy tone.
"Alright, my lady." He said, dropping a kiss on my hand.
Dinner was perfect. He was such a perfect gentleman and he is so sweet. Ironically, on stage, he seemed like a douche but that's not what i seen today.
After our dinner, we walked around the neighborhood. Before i knew it, we were at a beach.
I can feel the summer air breezing around.
"What are we doing here?" I asked Zacky.
"Stay here, alright? I got something prepared for you but you cant peak or nothing." He replied, leaving me behind.
About five minutes later, he returned with a grin on his face.
"We're all set. C'mon" He cheered.
I hesistated for a second. Not because of Zacky, but because of my heels. I don't want to get them dirty since i don't own lot of pairs of them.
"Come on." Zacky said again. This time, however, he took me by my hand and with my other hand, i was able to take my heels off.
Carrying my heels on one hand and hold Zacky's hand in another, i felt as if we are a couple.
We stopped walking until we got to something that shaped like heart in the sand. Surrounding it were a bunch of candles in the form of a heart.
I dropped my heels on the ground and turned to Zacky.
"You did this for me?"
He nervously scrated his head. "Yeah. I hope you like it." He smiled.
I did too. " Thanks, i love it."
I let go of his hand and walked around. It such a simple thing, yet it's making me fall for this man more and more.
'This is the fucking first date Alexandria.' the voice inside of me reminded me.
I walked back to him and that's when he revealed from behind his back, a bunch of flowers. Roses to be exact.
"Aww. Thanks. How do you know i love roses?"
"I saw some on your office's desk so i just risk it and gave it a shot."
"Thank you so much. You did a lot for me and it's our first date."
He laughed. "Second to be exact. First is lunch."
"Alright." He took my hands and stared into my eyes. I froze. His eyes are some beautiful thing. Green tinted. We stared at each other intensely before he spoke.
"Alexandria, i know this is our first date I don't want to make it awkward but..." he paused. "i felt so connected with you. It's like i've known you forever and I can feel that i am falling for you..." he paused again. "Can you...give me a shot?"
I didn't know what to say. I was stunned, amazed and elated at the same time. I want to say 'yes' cause there's a fucking rockstar asking me to give him a shot, but I didn't know if it was a one time thing or what. But i feel the trust in him and the connection.
I blushed. "Yes."
"Yes?"
"Yes." i said repeatedly.
He looked at me again and pulled me into a kiss. I return the favor and he lift me into his arm, kissing me.
We soon spend majority of the night sitting on the sand, not minding if it will get ourselves or our clothing dirty. We only care about each other.
