Pulling out what feels like his entire office, Larry yanks out another drawer, throws the hundreds of bits of paper out onto the floor and curses when he realises it's not there. But that brown file is nowhere to be found. He's sure he left it under his desk, where no one else, not even the cleaning staff he'd bribed to stay away from his office, would find it. But instead- it's disappeared.

He growls in frustration and slams his fists against the wall in anger. The pictures in there, the name, the contacts- they were all hiding in that little file and now it's gone. How could he have been so damn careless?
"Looking for this?" a voice behind him says quietly, and he turns to see the girl he's been following and taking pictures of since she was old enough to walk the streets alone.

"Lizzy Haner...who'd have thought you were one to fraternize with the enemy?" Larry asks as she steps forward, slamming the brown file onto his desk. She does not look happy, and there's an almost murderous glint behind those brown eyes that make even Larry recoil a little bit.
"I'm not. I'm giving you a chance to back away before these boys come down so hard on your ass, they'll beat you to New Jersey and back" she mutters, picking up the overturned chair on the other side of his desk and sitting in it.

"Who says I'm doing anything? For all you know that could be a collection of photographs, so I know what's going on in my clients lives" Larry says innocently, wondering if he can pass that off to her. But she's going to Law school, Harvard Law for God's sakes, she'll smell a rat fifty miles away. She rolls her eyes at him, putting one hand on the file.
"Don't play the innocence card with me, dollface. I know what you're trying to do- and I promise you if you don't back out now- I'll take your ass to court and wipe the floor with it" she hisses as he grabs the file out of her hands.

He almost laughs, but when he spots her gaze, holds it in. He knows too well what she's like when she's angry.
"Stay away from those men and their lives. Destroy the photos, destroy everything! And you better start watching your back, because you never know how could be following you" she whispers, almost inches away from him now and storms out of the office, slamming the door shut behind her.

Trust little Lizzy to get herself mixed up in all this business.

"Never trust a con-man, sweetheart" Larry says to himself happily as he picks up his folder, flicking through the pages.
"They'll only break your heart"

"Jimminimy! Monsters!" Lisa yells as she runs across the hallway and into the arms of her Uncle Jimmy. She has the tendency to add on extra letters in his name, especially after watching Pinocchio and seeing Jiminy Cricket for the first time.
"Monsters, duckie? Where? I WILL FIGHT THEM TO THE DEATH!" Jimmy announces as Zacky walks in, rubbing his arms and pointing at the drawings. She thought his tattoos were monsters.

"Duckie, they're just Uncle Zacky's tattoos. The only monster you have to be scared of is the tickle monster!" Jimmy reassures her, tickling under her arms and watching her dissolve into giggles, trying to squirm away from Jimmy's long fingers. He continues his ruthless tickling until the door opens and Lizzy and Matt walk in. Lizzy looks slightly pissed, which no one was really surprised at, and Matt just looks guilty.

"Still nothing?" Zacky asks, grabbing his girlfriend by the hand and pulling her into a hug, something she visibly relaxes in.
"Nope. I've checked everywhere he might be, the bar, his house- even home. Still no Brian" Lizzy replies softly into his chest.
Nobody has seen Brian since Matt kicked him out of his house after finding out about him and Lacey, and that was three days ago. Either he's very sneaky- or something's happened to him.

Lacey had been the first one to go out and look for him, even when Matt disapproved, she promptly yelled at her brother to not repeat the argument they'd had the night before, and stormed off.
She really liked Brian, Lizzy knew that well. He liked her to, a little more than like. Maybe love.
He deserved someone in his life, and he and Lacey were just perfect for each other. Matt collapses down onto the couch, pulling out his phone.

"Still nothing from Lace. If Brian's done anything to her, I'll rip his head off" he mutters and Lizzy feels her fists clench. He's being stupid.
"Jesus Matt when will you see that he makes her happy?" Lizzy yells, breaking away from Zacky and walking over to Matt. He's at least ten inches taller than she is, but they all know that when she gets mad, she gets MAD.

"The amount of times I've sat up talking to Brian after he came home from his dates, or on the phone to Lacey if Brian's away. And both of them get tongue-tied when they talk about the other, they blush....they're in love! The only reason Brian ran away was because you pushed him away from her, Matt, it was you! He knows what it's like to be the big brother- to be constantly scared someone's going to hurt his sister- he's done all that! Will you just your sister be happy by letting her be with Brian?"

Matt doesn't say anything, shocked by Lizzy's sudden outburst. The room is horribly silent until Lizzy's phone rings. The screen reads 'LACEY' and with a filthy look at Matt, she answers.
"Lacey? Did you find Brian? Where are you?"
"I'm at the hospital. I found him on a street corner, unconscious. He's having his stomach pumped. Please, Lizzy, come down here...I'm freaking out"
"Alright, I'm coming"
"But...just you. And Zacky, whatever. Just don't let Matt see me with him..." she whispers and Lizzy hung up, picking up her keys.

"Zack, you're coming with me, Jim Jam you keep Matt here and watch Lisa, OK?" she says, grabbing Zacky.
"Wait, what happened to Brian?!" Matt cries, standing up. Lizzy feels her blood boil under her skin and turns around.

"He's at the hospital. No thanks to you"
