It’s finally summer vacation for the kids and Jimmy is just sulking around the house because Ava is in Maine.
“Babe I don’t like to see him like this.” I said to Zacky as we laid in bed
“Why don’t we fly her out here or him out there?” He asked
“That’s a pretty good idea actually.” I said
“Hand me my phone.” He said
I reached over on the bedside table and handed him his phone, he started to do something and then he looked at me.
“He flies out on Friday at noon.” He said
“It’s Wednesday.” I said
“I know, go in his room tomorrow and start randomly packing shit so he’s confused. I have to go into the studio and send out another teaser to the fans about the new album.” He said
“You’re fans are probably so angry at you guys.” I said
“Sucks.” He said
He ran his hand over his oncoming beard; I had to say Zacky V can pull of a beard.
“I like it.” I said
“You like what?” He asked
“This.” I said feeling his beard. “It makes you look all sexy.” I added
He smiled and looked at me.
“I was thinking about shaving it but now I think I’m going to keep it.” He said moving his eyebrows up and down.
“I don’t know what it is, I just like it.” I said
“Well do you want to know what I like?” He asked
“What’s that?” I asked
“This.” He said
He put his hand on my growing belly and I looked at him and bit my lip.
“You know when I found out I freaked because I didn’t think you would be wanting to raise a baby at almost forty.” I said
“I don’t want to be raising a grandkid at forty.” He said
“I don’t want to do that either, maybe when I’m forty you old man.” I smiled
“You love this old man.” He said
“I do.” I smiled
“Let’s get some sleep because I know you are excited to give Jimmy the plane ticket sitting in our printer in the music room.” He said
“I am.” I said
I laid my head on his chest and we both eventually fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning to Zacky kissing my neck, his beard was scratchy.
“Morning baby.” He said
“Morning sir scratchy beard.” I smiled
“Want me to shave it?” He asked
“Nope.” I said
He laughed and I grabbed his face and pulled it to me and kissed him.
“I love you.” I said
“I love you too.” He said
“When do you have to get going?” I asked
“I should probably go now but I didn’t want to leave without a goodbye kiss.” He said
“Aren’t you a sweetie?” I asked
“You know it.” He said
“Get going baby.” I said
“I don’t want too.” He whined
“Go or I’ll call Matt.” I said
“I’m going, I’m going.” He said
He got up and he was already dressed, he came over to be and kissed me and then walked out, I got up and went to the kitchen and got a bottle of water out of the fridge. I went down to the music room and grabbed the plane ticket out of the printer and walked back up to the kitchen and then up to Jimmy’s room. He was still asleep, I walked in and his TV was on, the menu screen for The Avengers was playing. I turned it off and walked out of the room; I went to the living room and made a phone call.
“Hey Brice!” Melody exclaimed
“Hey Melody.” I said
“What’s up?” She asked
“Well I wanted to tell you something because I know you’re going to be okay with it cause you’re cool like that.” I said
“What is it?” She asked
“Zack and I are sending Jimmy your way on Friday so he’s not sulking around. He missed Ava.” I said
“Oh my god! We were going to send her out there!” She yelled
“Don’t tell her he’s coming.” I said
“I won’t.” She said
“Surprise.” I said
“Okay well I need to head to work.” She said
“Okay, his plane leaves at noon.” I said
“I’ll pick him up from the airport.” She said
“Thank you Mel.” I said
“No problem.” She said
“Bye.” I said
“Bye.” She said
I hung up and looked up and Jimmy was turning on the Xbox.
“Morning baby.” I said
“Morning mom.” He said

“Are you okay?” I asked
“Peachy.” He said
“Come here.” I said
He sat down and I hugged him.
“Follow me please.” I said
He looked at me funny and I got up and walked up to his room and he followed me.
“Mom what are you doing?” He asked
“Pack.” I said
“For?” He asked
“This.” I said
I handed him the plane ticket.
“Wait.” He said
“What?” I asked
“A plane ticket?” He asked
“You’re going to Maine.” I said
“What!?” He asked
“Jimmy calm down. You’re going to Maine.” I smiled
“Oh my god!” He said
“Don’t wake your sisters up.” I warned
“Sorry.” He said
“Pack up, your flight leaves at noon tomorrow.” I said
“Mom you are amazing.” He said
“It was your dad’s idea.” I said
“My parents are awesome.” He said
I smiled and he hugged me.
The next day Jimmy came in and woke me up at ten thirty.
“Mom get up.” He said
“Jimmy I’m up. Let me get dressed and we’ll go eat and go to the airport.” I said
“Okay.” He said
He left and I turned over and faced Zacky.
“Get up or he’ll come back in here.” Zacky said
“I don’t want to.” I said
“Sucks baby.” He said
He pushed me and I climbed on top of him and straddled him.
“Old man.” He said
“Sexy old lady.” He said
“I’m not old.” I smiled
“I know, you’re sexy.” He said
“Why thank you. You are beyond sexy.” I said
He pulled my face to his and kissed me.
“Go get ready.” He said tapping my ass
“Fine, trying to get rid of me for an hour?” I asked
“Yes.” He said
I laughed and climbed off of him and walked over to the dresser and pulled some pants on, Zacky turned over and I walked over to him and kissed his neck.
“Mhmm Brice let me sleep.” He said
I laughed and slapped his bare chest and walked out of the room, I walked over to Jimmy’s room and opened it.
“Jimmy lets go.” I said
He hopped up and grabbed his bag.
“Breakfast.” He said
I laughed and we went out and got in the car, we went and got breakfast and then we drove to the airport.
“You call me when you land. Melody is picking up from the airport and you’re staying with them. Ava has no idea, you’re her surprise.” I said
“Okay, thank you again mom.” He said
“I love you.” I said
“I love you too; I’ll call you when I land.” He said
I nodded and hugged him, I watched him off and he boarded his plane
