Bella’s P.O.V
I got back to the house via a cab, the driver was a bit worried about a pregnant woman moaning out in pain in the back of his cab after clearly running out of the hospital but I insisted that I was fine and of course, he had to take me home. I mean, what was he going to do? Carry me back inside? As I was walking up the path to the house I noticed all of the guests cars were gone, only the guy’s, my mom’s and Zacky’s mom’s cars were still in the drive. I opened the front door quietly and tiptoed inside before closing it silently behind me, I could hear all of the guys walking around in the living room.
“Val’s at the hospital helping Matt and Zacky, the girls have gone to search everywhere they think she might have gone,” I heard Jimmy tell everyone as I made my way silently to the bedroom.
“Useless, I am going to look for my daughter since my son and Zacky cannot keep tabs on her for ten fucking minutes!” My mom shouted before I heard the door slamming. I changed into Zacky’s misfits cut off and removed all bottoms and climbed into bed, holding onto the teddy Matt gave me when the guys all went on tour for the first time, he’d told me that whenever I missed him all I had to do was hug the teddy.
“Okay Mr Snuggles, we’re alright, we’re not having a baby,” I whispered to the teddy “Owww!” I cried out a little too loud as another contraction hit, they were getting closer together, and the closer they got the further I went into denial.
Jimmy’s P.O.V
“Owww!”
“What the fuck was that?” Johnny asked
“Shh,” I said, waving my hand for everyone to be quiet and then it happened again “I think we just found Bella, Marie, we need you upstairs, Brian, call Matt.” I ordered and ran upstairs with Zacky’s mom hot on my heels. I pushed the door to Zacky’s bedroom open and there was Bella, in bed, holding her teddy and doing her breathing exercises.
“Bella?” I asked
“Bella’s not here,” She said, throwing the covers over her head and then moaning out in pain.
“Bella honey, I know this is scary, it’s your first baby,” Marie started, sitting down on the edge of the bed, Bella came back out from under the covers and looked at her “I remember, when I had Zacky, I was so petrified that I cried like a baby from the second my water broke to the second that I heard him crying with me, it was so sore that I punched his father square in the jaw and burst his lip, but once I held that precious little baby in my arms, I knew that I was going to be an amazing mom and that it was all worth it,” Marie spoke calmly to Bella and she smiled
“That’s really touching Marie, but I don’t know if anyone told you, I decided not to have the baby now, maybe in a few more years when we’re all ready for this,” Bella said and I chuckled “What are you laughing at chuckles?” She snapped
“You, you’re having a baby and yet you can still make jokes,” I laughed
“Come on, let’s get you into the living room, there’s more space down there,” Marie said and the two of us helped Bella down carefully.
Once in the living room with Johnny and Brian we were told that Matt and Zacky were coming back with Bella’s mom. Bella was on the floor on all fours, Marie was reading the baby book about giving birth, Brian was in front of her, talking to her calmly while I rubbed the bottom of her back and Johnny paced around the room chanting ‘oh my god’ over and over.
“Where is she!?” Bella’s mom screamed as they burst through the door.
“Oh god, my mother is here, ahh,” Bella breathed
“Bella, what in God’s name are you doing? You’re giving birth 4 weeks early; you should be at the hospital!” Her mother scolded
Bella’s P.O.V
“I didn’t want to be at the hospital, they scare me, it wasn’t comfortable, I just wanted to go to bed!” Bella screamed back
“Come on, get up, we’re going back to the hospital to have this baby,” mom demanded from behind me
“No!” Bella shouted, mom moved and shoved Brian out of the way and took his place on all fours in front of me.
“Don’t say no to me,”
“I am a grown woman, and it’s my choice!”
“Not now it isn’t, Bella you are coming with me right now, back to the hospital,”
“All my life you’ve been telling me what to do, this time, no!”
“You’re being ridiculous,”
“And you are being bossy, and domineering like you always are! Complaining about Zacky, arriving at my party as the sodding Grimm Reaper!” Bella shouted through her gritted teeth, slamming her hand on the floor.
“Bella, I’m your mother!” She shouted
“Well I’m the mommy now!” I screamed back, and then it hit me, I leaned away from her, tears filling my eyes “Oh God, I’m the mommy now,” I whispered to myself “I’m the mommy now,” I repeated, my mom looked like she was about to cry “I’m his mommy” the tears started to run down my face “Mommy, I’m having a baby,” I cried
“I know…” She cooed, moving closer to me, allowing me to wrap my arms around her neck and she hugged me
“I’m having a baby,” I cried again, Matt and Zacky were standing in the doorway smiling at each other and it was finally sinking in. another contraction shot through me as I clutched my mom to me “I’m having baby!” I screamed out loudly “Marie, it feels like I need to push, do I push?”
“Uhh, “ Marie stalled as she looked through the book.
“Oh for goodness sake,” My mom sighed “Matt call an ambulance, Zacky, get me hot water and towels, clean towels,” She ordered and then helped me to my feet “Come on, turn around, onto the bed,”
We got back into the bedroom and onto the bed, mom was between my legs and Matt and Zacky were on either side of me holding my hands.
“Alright Bella, next contraction you’re going to push as hard as you can alright?” Mom said, Marie was holding a towel out, Jimmy was wiping my forehead and Brian was standing next to Zacky with his hand on his shoulder, leaning down to get a look and Johnny was doing the same on Matt’s side
“Oh God, Avenged Sevenfold are watching me give birth, oh fuck!” I cried, another contraction hit and I did as mom said, Zacky and Matt pulled my legs back, I tucked my chin into my chest and pushed as hard as I could, I had to repeat it a few times.
“You’re doing it, you’re having a baby, I can see the head, one more push baby, come on!” Zacky encouraged, squeezing my hand tighter.
Another contraction hit and I gave it all I had left and cried out loudly before I felt relief, my head fell back on the pillow and I smiled up at Jimmy who was crying above me, I looked around and they were all crying, even Brian and Johnny. I felt something land on my chest and when I looked down I saw the most beautiful baby ever lying naked on my chest.
“It’s a boy, you were right sis,” Matt cried and kissed me on the forehead, I started crying even harder and I took him into my arms, he was crying loudly and he hadn’t opened his eyes yet but by God he was gorgeous “He’s got a set of lungs on him too,” Matt laughed, we were all too caught up in the baby when the paramedics ran into the room with Val on their heels, she stopped stock still in the doorway and looked at the sight before her and instantly started crying.
1 hour later~~
I was surprisingly wide awake; despite the fact I hated hospitals I was quite content being here. The doctors had to run some tests on our baby to make sure everything was alright because he was early but he got the all clear and he was healthy and happy so I was happy.
“Hey momma,” Val whispered as she walked into the room slowly, holding a cup of coffee in one hand and a bottle of water in the other “How are you feeling?” She asked as she walked over to me, I tried to sit down on the bed but I was still sore down south so I winced a little bit
“I’m fi-ine” I hissed feeling the pain in my pants “You know, for being so small he sure did a number down there,” I laughed lightly and she handed me the bottle of water “Thanks,”
“So, how are you and Zacky?”
“What do you mean?”
“Haven’t you guys told each other how you feel yet?”
“Well I was planning to but he hasn’t come back since we got here,” I sighed, looking over to the sleeping baby in the plastic crib beside me, he’d opened his eyes “Oh look!” I whispered loudly.
“They’re gorgeous,” Val breathed, she was right, he had Zacky’s piercing green eyes, he was Zacky’s double. Plump lips like Zacky, the same nose as Zacky, his daddy’s eyes and although he was an hour old his hair was already jet black.
“My little baby baker,” I breathed as a tear slid down my face as Val stood behind me with her hands on my shoulders and we looked down at my little miriacle.
