Friends With Kids
No Mothers!
1 week later~~
Matt and Val came back from their honeymoon last night and I’m secretly hoping that they were going to give us a honeymoon cousin for baby Baker, but I wouldn’t tell them that, it would probably freak Matt out. The guys are playing a home concert tonight and everyone’s going to be there, Val and Michelle had come over to Zacky’s and were getting ready with me while the guys were at the venue doing sound checks and everything else.
“I still can’t believe you’re married,” I told Val while she worked on my makeup
“I can’t believe it either, but I’ve never been so happy,” She gushed
“I’m glad he married you and not some skanky groupie he could have picked up on the road if he didn’t have you,” I said and the girls both laughed
“There we go, all done,” Val said, standing from in front of me and turning me to face the mirror.
“God it’s been so long,” I breathed. I was being truthful, it had been a long time since I looked like this, the girls and I were the guys first fans and we went crazy with the look like the guys did. My face was pale, my eyes black and I’d dressed in a Vengeance University top in a bigger size to accommodate for my baby bump.
“You look so fucking adorable,” Michelle laughed when I stood up and snapped a picture
“Never, ever, tell a pregnant woman she’s adorable, you’ll get punched.” I warned jokingly, pointing my finger in her face, causing her and Val to laugh.
We headed to the venue to meet the guys and they were just getting ready to go on stage, they were standing at the side of the stage doing their pre-show rituals, Val and Michelle walked off and wished their guys good luck, Lacey was already kissing Johnny, Zacky was fixing his guitar onto himself and Jimmy was standing twiddling with his sticks.
“Hey Jim, knock ‘em dead tonight alright?” I said, pulling him down to my height and giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
“Of course my little pregnant friend, I’ll do it for you,” He said with his cheesy grin plastered on his face.
I walked over to Zacky who was jumping from foot to foot listening to the fans cheering ‘Sevenfold!’ over and over again
“Hey Zacky,” I said as I walked up to him “Have a great show out there, we’ll be watching you,” I said, taking his hand in mine and placing it over my stomach, he smiled and leaned down and kissed me briefly. When he pulled away and walked onto the stage I looked over and Matt was watching, he smiled at me before nodding and following the guys onto the stage.
As always, during the concert Matt stopped and talked to the fans for a little while, but this one could not have been more mortifying for me.
“Alright, as you all probably know, Zacky and my little sister have been the topic of every A7x site for month now, well why don’t we get the lady of the hour out here?” Matt spoke into the microphone and the fans went crazy “Alright Val, could you bring her out here please?” He asked, turning to look at us and Val grabbed my hand and dragged me out onto the stage. Now I’m used to getting attention because I’m Matt’s sister but I’d been getting loads when I went out because of what was all over the internet about Zacky and I,
“Alright Matt, I’m not your little sister, you’re 2 minutes and 24 seconds older than me,” I whined into the microphone that Zacky was using. I could feel Gena’s eyes burning into the back of my head, she’d come along to watch after the guys had already started so she didn’t see Zacky kissing me, but I wish she had, I couldn’t stand her anymore.
“Isn’t she beautiful?” Zacky asked the fans and got screams in response “Looking all gorgeous and sexy carrying my baby,” He cooed rubbing my stomach soothingly. After Matt talked a little more about us and then kissed Val on stage we walked back off and they finished their set.
“You’d better watch your fucking back bitch, he’s mine and don’t you dare think otherwise,” Gena spat as she stood as close to me without touching my stomach
“Gena, I’m carrying his baby AND I live with him, you may be the one in the relationship with him, but I think I’ve won,” I said back, smiling causing her to squeal out angrily and storm off to the dressing rooms before the guys came off stage. When they did Zacky scooped me up into a hug
“Zacky, I don’t think you noticed, but your woman got here earlier, she’s in your dressing room,” I told him, he sighed and threw his head back in frustration before thanking me and walking off.
An hour later and everything was packed away and all the guys were ready to go home except for Zacky, no one had seen him since they came off stage.
“Bella, can you go look for Zacky? We need to get going,” Matt said, I nodded and walked off in the direction of Zacky’s dressing room, I could hear him and Gena shouting at each other from the end of the corridor.
“Gena, stop being a fucking bitch and stop threatening my unborn child! You’re fucking pathetic, I DON’T LOVE YOU ANYMORE!” Zacky shouted at her, screaming the last part at the top of his lungs, I opened the door a little and poked my head through
“Uh Zack, the guys want to get going,” I said quietly
“Sure thing, I’ll be out in a sec,”
“Bitch,” Gena spat
“Excuse me?” I asked, walking all the way into the room
“You heard me”
“Yes, I did, but I want you to repeat it when I’m standing in front of you,”
“Bitch,” she repeated and before she could say anything else she was clutching her face as blood dripped between her fingers from her nose.
She ran out of the room crying and Zacky didn’t say a word, he just took my hand and we walked to get the guys, we could hear them laughing and whistling.
“Nice going Bella, you ruined her face,” Michelle said between laughs as she tried to catch her breath
“She’s definitely never coming back after that,” Matt said with a smile
“That was the idea, now can we go home? Baby Baker is making me sleepy,” I said with a yawn.
4 days later~~
“Are you guys ready?!” I shouted from the top of the stairs to all the guys and the girls in the living room, they all shouted back that they were ready “Alright, I now reveal, the best pregnancy Halloween costume ever!” I shouted as I walked into the room, they all looked at me and laughed hysterically, telling me that my costume was amazing.
I was a space hopper. Wearing a long blue t-shirt with a face on my stomach, blue leggings with matching Doc Martens and the handles of a space hopper had been glued to a hairband and I wore them on my head.
“That is amazing!” Zacky laughed, walking over and hugging me again, he was dressed as a zombie and all the guys were dressed as something to match their girls slutty costume except for Jimmy, he was a wolf, and he said that was because he’s the lone wolf, he doesn’t need a girlfriend.
The guests started arriving and soon all the parents even turned up, my mother stood out the most, she had dressed as death, she came alone since my dad was on a business trip, and Zacky and I had endured half an hour of lectures from all of the mothers about getting a nanny and not getting a nanny, giving the baby what it wants when it wants it and not doing that and being strict. Zacky and I plopped down onto the sofa beside Matt and Jimmy and groaned. I’d been dealing with an uncomfortable feeling in my back and stomach; my leggings were probably too tight.
“What’s up with you two?” Matt asked, taking a swig of his beer
“Mothers,” I groaned “Come with me,” I said, grabbing Matt and Zacky’s hand and leading them to the bedroom, I raked through my hospital bag that had been packed for months and found my birthing plan, I handed it to Zacky “No mothers at the hospital, write that on the plan,” I told him, handing him a pen and leaning over, putting my hands on my knees so Zacky could use me as a table.
“That is a great idea,” Matt agreed
“Hnnng,” I groaned through gritted teeth
“What the fuck was that?” Matt asked
“Nothing,” I said, teeth still clenched together
“Bella,” Zacky said, leaning down to my level since I was still grabbing my knees “Are you having your first contraction?”
“Not the first!” I groaned as another one hit at the same time a lot of water hit the floor.
“Oh god, we have to get her out of here without any mom’s noticing, I can text the guys when we’re out of here,” Matt said, Zacky and I agreed.
Zacky grabbed the hospital bag and Matt held me under my arms from behind and helped me down the stairs and snuck me past everyone, Matt helped me into the back seat of his SUV and Zacky climbed in beside me and Matt got into the driver’s seat.
“You know, I was thinking” I said between my breathing “We’re not in a position to have a baby, so maybe, we could wait a while, and just not have this one,” I said
“It’s a little late for that isn’t it babe? This baby is coming now,” Zacky chuckled, squeezing my hand “Everything’s going to be fine,” He said, trying to calm me down, but I could feel how fast his heart was beating. Matt was speeding and pulled into the hospital car park and the two of them helped me out of the car and we made our way quickly inside.
“My girlfriend’s having a baby!” Zacky shouted as he ran inside ahead of Matt and I, Matt still helping me walk the same as in the house
“It’s alright, we’ve changed our minds, this is really just a flying visit!” I screamed out as another contraction hit as a nurse showed us to a room.
My doctor came in and was about to do some checks but she needed Matt and Zacky to leave, I hated this, I hated the pain, the worry of doing something wrong, hospitals and being alone with the doctor.
Zacky’s P.O.V
We had to leave the room while the doctor did some tests on Bella and got her hooked up to everything. It was becoming obvious that I was worrying as I paced the corridor
“Her dude, eat this,” Matt said, handing me a bar of chocolate
“Let’s just go back in, it’s been fifteen minutes, she must be done now,” I said walking towards the room. I opened the door and walked in to find… nothing. The bed was empty, Bella’s headband was on the floor and all the wires that should be attached to her were hanging from their machines.
“How did we lose an entire pregnant woman?” Matt asked rhetorically
“Bella!” I called out, running out of the room and down the corridors.
