Chapter Nine
*Adrian's POV*
There was a knock on the door. We looked over to see my dad at it. I motioned that he could open it.
"I think Nick and Bailey are here. They showed up and screamed." He said.
"Oh, great!" I chirped. I turned to Alex and hugged him tightly before letting go and walking inside. Alex followed me and met up with Bailey and Nick.
"Hey guys!" Alex said, smiling.
"Alex, I though you had better things to do," Nick said.
"I got those other things taken care of, I just want to have fun with my friends and the best band in the world!" Alex said, pulling me, Bailey, and Nick into a hug.
"We're here!" Jimmy yelled as he ran in the door. "ADRIAN!"
"JIMMY!!!!" I yelled and ran over to hug him.
"You guys ready to go beach it up?" Matt asked.
"I need to put on my trunks real quick," Alex said and rushed to the bathroom.
"You spend more than two minutes in there, I'll be coming in to make sure you're not doing anything!" My dad yelled to him.
"DAD!" I yelled.
"What? It shouldn't take him more than two minutes to change. If it does then I'll be worried he might not be a guy." my dad explained.
"Let's go!" Alex yelled, running from the bathroom.
Alex, Bailey, Nick, Jimmy, my dad, and I got into my dad's car. Everybody else went in Matt's. The drive to the beach consisted of Jimmy yelling, my dad telling him to stop, and Jimmy tazering me.
"Jimmy, I swear to god, if you tazer me one more time, I will ignore you for the rest of the-" I was cut off by being tazered by Alex. "Fuck you, Alex!"
I guess that's the price I pay for sitting between a 16 year old boy, and a 31 year old boy.
"Are we almost there?" I groaned. "I'm tired of being assulted by these two," I jerked my thumbs in Jimmy's and Alex's directions.
"Yes, actually we are," My dad replied.
"Thank god!" I raised my hands up and they hit the roof of the car. "Shit! That hurt!"
We all piled out of the car and met up with the rest of the guys. We laid out a blanket type thing.
"To the water we go!"Jimmy yelled as he picked me up over his shoulder.
"GAH! JIMMY!!" I yelled and repeatedly hit his back. I even tried tazering him. That didn't turn out well. He dropped me into the water.
"Haha! Gotcha!!" Jimmy yelled.
Right when I went to try to tackle him, I was picked up, again.
"Fuuuuccckkkk!!!" I yelled as I lay limp over the shoulder of my carrier.
"Don't worry, buddy," My carrier, Alex said laughing.
He jumped into the deeper water with me still on his shoulder. I came up after being under the water for quite some time.
We messed around in the water for a while, then we went to go build a sandcastle. Jimmy jumped on the castle after we built it.
"Jimmy, god dammit!" I yelled.
"What/ I couldn't help myself," He replied with a cheesy grin on his face.
I wanted to go wash the sand off of me so I walked out to the ocean, only to be joined by Alex.
"I'm glad your talking to me again," I stated.
"I'm glad too, not talking to you was killing me," He said back, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Well, it was kind of your fault, though," I looked at him. Even though he was a year older than me, he was so much taller, or I was just short.
We stopped once the water was at his knees, mid thigh for me.
"Yeah, I know, I was being stupid," He looked down at me. God, even though we were best friends, I've always had a huge crush on him.
"Yes, you were." I said chuckling.
"So, is our band going to be able to practice with Avenged Sevenfold? Considering their lead guitarist is your dad?"
"Event-" I got cut off. Not by Alex talking. By him kissing me.
