Chapter Eight
*Alex's POV*
-Hey guys, so I'm going to the beach with my dad and his band. He said you guys could come if you wanted to. Tell me of you do so I can give you guys directions to my house.-Adrian
-Oooh, sounds like fun! I'll definately be joining in on that!-Bailey
-I'm in!-Nick
- You guys have fun, i have other things to do-Alex
-aw what the hell alex? you left the party early last night. you are basically refusing to talk to me. why?-Adrian
-I dont want to talk about it right now. ill talk to you guys later-Alex
-anywhores... where does your dad live?-Bailey
-10 minutes down the road from Alex, biggest house with a black SUV, cant miss it-Adrian
-We will be there- Nick
-Alrighty-Bailey
After that conversation I knew I had to talk to Adrian, just not over text. I ran down to my garage to get my bike and I made my way over to Adrian's house.
When I got there, I dropped my bike on the side walk and walked up to the front door, before I rang the doorbell, I could hear Adrian talking to her dad.
"I hope your car is big enough to fit Nick and Bailey. They are coming," I heard Adrian say.
"Yeah, it's big enough." Her dad replied.
I rang the door bell.
"Coming!" I heard Adrian yell. She opened the door, a surprised look across her face. "Alex?"
"Adrian, we need to talk." I said.
"Damn right we need to talk. You've been a dick lately. We have been friends since kindergarten. We've been able to tell each other everything, and you're hiding something from me. I want to know what it is," Adrian half yelled at me.
"Listen, I'm sorry for doing that. It's just," I was cut off by her dad walking to the door.
"Hey, uh, the guys are going to be here soon. Alex, are you going to be joining us to the beach?" Brian asked.
"After I'm done talking to Adrian," I said, shifting my gaze to her.
"Alright," He started to walk away. "Why don't you guys go talk in the backyard. A little more private, ya know?"
"Yeah, let's go," Adrian said then started to walk to the back, I followed after closing the door.
"So, why have you been being all secretive lately?" She questioned after the glass door was closed.
"This whole thing with you being related to Synyster Gates," I said. "I just don't want you to get hurt or anything."
"What does that have to do with anything? If you found out that you were related to one of them, you would probably be ecstatic. You know you would. I would have expected you to be happy for me. That my dad was finally found."
"I am happy for you, Adrian. I really am. But, him being a rockstar might not be a good thing. You do realize he has to be on tour for months at a time, right?"
"I do realize that. I know that it's his job. Hell, I might even be able to tag along on some summer tours."
"I know. That's part of the reason why I'm worried. You never know what could happen on those tours. You have to be careful, promise me?"
"I promise. Now, you wanna go to the beach with us?"
"Yep! I brought my trunks in case this talk went well."
There was a knock on the door. We looked over to see Brian at it. Adrian motioned that he could open it.
"I think Nick and Bailey are here. They showed up and screamed." He said.
"Oh, great!" Adrian chirped. She turned to me and hugged me tightly before letting go and walking inside. I followed her and met up with Bailey and Nick.
"Hey guys!" I said, smiling.
