Chapter Seven
I woke up the next day sprawled across my bed. I looked over the alarm clock beside my bed, 7 A.M, "Fuck."
I got up and went to take a shower but, I was stopped by the smell of bacon cooking. I followed it down to the kitchen where my dad was cooking.
"Good morning," I said drowsily.
"Oh, morning Adrian. What are you doing up?"
"I have no clue.," I muttered back, reaching into the fridge for something to drink. "Do you ever drink anything else except for beer?"
"Yes, I just haven't had time to go to the grocery store. I got kind of side tracked by someone." He replied, referring to me.
"Sorry about that. I guess they found you at a bad time."
"It's alright. It's completely worth it too." My dad said as he put our food on plates.
"Well, do you think we could go get food, maybe some monsters for me in the morning?"
"After we eat, and we can't spend too much time there. We are going to go to the beach with the guys. If you want you can invite your friends too."
"Alrighty." I finished my food and hopped down from the table. I took my plate to the sink and set it down.
"Hey, wash off your plate."
"Oh, sorry your highness," I said sarcastically and cleaned my plate.
I walked up to the bathroom to take a shower. After I showered, I got dressed in a white V-neck and shorts, with my swim suit underneath. I pulled out my phone and sent a group text out to my friends.
-Hey guys, so I'm going to the beach with my dad and his band. He said you guys could come if you wanted to. Tell me of you do so I can give you guys directions to my house.-Adrian
-Oooh, sounds like fun! I'll definately be joining in on that!-Bailey
-I'm in!-Nick
- You guys have fun, i have other things to do-Alex
-aw what the hell alex? you left the party early last night. you are basically refusing to talk to me. why?-Adrian
-I dont want to talk about it right now. ill talk to you guys later-Alex
-anywhores... where does your dad live?-Bailey
-10 minutes down the road from Alex, biggest house with a black SUV, cant miss it-Adrian
-We will be there- Nick
-Alrighty-Bailey
I put my phone in my back pocket and ran down the stairs.
"I hope your car is big enough to fit Nick and Bailey. They are coming," I told my dad who was watching T.V.
"Yeah, it's big enough."
The door bell rang. I figured it was Nick and Bailey.
"Coming!" I yelled as I ran to the door. I was surprised when I opened it.
"Alex?"
