After Alex left, I decided I would try to get to know at least one of the members of Avenged Sevenfold. I looked around, then I spotted the brownies, "Those will make some good friends," I said to myself and walked over to them.
"Hey, Adrian!" Jimmy chirped as he walked into the kitchen. "Whatcha doing?"
"Hey, Jimmy," I replied, my mouth full of brownie. "I'm making some friends with these brownies. How about you?"
"I'm going to join you in that friend making idea there," He said as he reached out to grab a brownie. "So, how come Alex left?"
"I don't know. He said he was uncomfortable, then he left," I explained, taking another bite out of my brownie.
"Well then," He said as he finished his brownie. "So, I was talking to your dad, and he said you have a band."
"Yep," I finished my brownie. "We're a cover band mostly. We cover Skillet, 3 Days Grace, Shinedown, Metallica, and we are just starting to learn some Avenged Sevenfold songs."
"Oh really? What do you play?"
"Lead guitar, Alex plays bass."
"Oh that's nifty."
"Yep!" I chirped, hopping off the counter. "I want to go swim."
"OOOOH, I'll go with you!"
"Okay!"
I ran up to my room and got on my bathing suit then ran back down. Jimmy wasn't anywhere around the living room, I figured he would be in the pool already. I started to make my way to the backyard where everybody was, when suddenly, I was thrown over a shoulder.
"Oh, what the fuck?" I said, trying not to puke.
"Watch your mouth, young lady!" My ambusher, Jimmy, laughed out.
"Jimmy, what the hell are you doing?"
Jimmy just laughed, then I was surrounded by water, no longer over Jimmy's shoulder.
I made my way to the surface of the water, choking on water. Everybody was laughing their asses off.
"I'm going to get you back for this, Sullivan!" I yelled as I lunged for his legs.
"Haha! You can't get me!" He sang.
"Oh, I'll prove you wrong!" I jumped out of the pool and started chasing Jimmy around.
"Hey, be careful! I don't anybody getting hurt!" My dad yelled from the grill.
"Don't worry, dad! We'll be fine!" I yelled as I was airborne again, flying to wards the pool.
Jimmy busted out laughing again. "I got you again! That's twice in a row! Ahahahah!"
"Oh my god!" I groaned and hopped out of the pool.
This went on until dinner was ready.
"So, Adrian," Zacky started. "Are you excited to start school again soon?"
"Yeah, ecstatic.." I said sarcasticly.
"Oh, well then." he said. "What do you normally do for fun?"
"Well," I stopped to think. "I listen to music a lot. I practice guitar a lot too."
"Oh you play guitar?" he asked, getting more interested. "Do you play left handed or right?"
"I can actually play both, I mostly play right though because my guitars are all right handed." I explained.
We talked about guitars for a while, while everybody finished their food.
After everybody left I took another shower to wash the chlorine out of my hair.
After my shower, I texted Alex.
-Hey,-Adrian
-hey,-Alex
-How you doing?-Adrian
-eh, okay i guess, hbu?-Alex
-pretty good, i became pretty good friends with Jimmy, hes one crazy motherfucker,- Adrian
-thats nice. listen im tired im going to go to sleep now,- Alex
-okay... i wish you could have stayed a while longer, talk to ya tomorrow, night-Adrian
-yeah, night-Alex
I went to my bed and sank into it, "What is wrong with Alex?" I asked myself.
"What was that, Adrian?" My dad asked through my door.
I got up to open it, "I was just asking myself what was wrong with Alex, he's never acted like this before."
"I wonder.. Did you talk to him?"
"Yeah, just now. He went to 'sleep',"
"Oh, I think you guys should talk in person tomorrow, you can invite your whole band over for a practice."
"Alright," I sighed. "I'll talk to them tomorrow."
"Okay, well, good night, Adrian,"
"Night, dad," I hugged him and he left.
