"Oh. What do you want? I'm kind of naked here." I said. Brian laughed and answered,
"Just reminding you about the photo shoot and interview today. We leave in an hour."
"An hour?!" I exclaimed, I wasn't sure if id have enough time to get ready.
"You'll look finee, but Mia's gonna look better. No offense, I kinda have to say that." I laughed and smiled in response, he really did care about Mia.
"Okay, thanks for telling me. But you kinda have to get out now, cause like i said, still naked.." He laughed and walked out, closing the door behind him. I emerged from the steamy shower and dried off. I curled my hair and applied a thick layer of black eyeliner to my top lid. I chose to wear my white mini dress and black flats. I also put on my silver deathbat necklace Mia bought me for my seventeenth birthday.
I went downstairs and found Mia. I asked her nervously,
"Do I look okay?" She looked me up and down and answered with a sly smile,
"You look great! Ready to make some fans super jealous?" I high fived her and we approached the guys. Mia did a twirl and Brian responded to that with,
"Wow..You look..stunning." And kissed her. I did a twirl to, mocking her. Zacky grabbed me mid-twirl and smashed our lips together.
"You look totally amazing. You're so adorable, you know that?" I blushed as he whispered this in my ear, his lips brushing against it. He took my hand and we went to the car.
We drove to the beach, where the interview and photo shoot would take place. When we got there, the interviewers and photographers were already there. Before we got out of the car they took a few pictures of us. It was when Zacky kissed my cheek during one of the pictures that the photographer's eyes widened. She asked,
"And who are these two girls?" Brian and Zacky eyed each other and smiled. Zacky said,
"This is my beautiful girlfriend, Lucy." I blushed and waved shyly. I looked down a little bit and Zacky laughed a little at my shyness. Mia was much different than me.
"And this is my beautiful girlfriend, Mia." Mia piped up and said,
"Hello!"
"I'm sorry if my awkwardness ends up ruining this for you.." I said kind of sadly to Zacky. Zacky made a "pffft" sound with his mouth and titled my chin up, looked me directly in the eyes with his piercing green ones and said,
"You couldn't ruin anything for me if you tried. I don't wanna sound cheesey, oh wait, yes i do, but Lucy, you complete me. You really do." I couldn't stop smiling after he said this, which made it a lot easier on the photographers They took some shots of the full band, both on the beach and by the water. Then came the solo shots. Johnny flipped off the camera. Matty crossed his arms and made a serious face. Jimmy was laughing and the camera captured his kid like happiness. Brian lowered his sunglasses and gave the camera a seductive smile. Then it was Zacky's turn. He lowered the first three buttons on his shirt, exposing his chest and his neon green death bat tattoo. I couldn't help but smile at this.
Then came the part Johnny had predicted.
"So, Brian, Zacky, tell us about these two." The interviewer said, pointing to Mia and I. They guys turned around and smiled at us and brought us over. Zacky put his arm around me and Mia kissed Brian's cheek.
"Ah, Synacky's girlfriends! How did you two meet?" The interviewer asked me.
"Well..." I began shyly. "To be honest, it all started with Zacky saving my life. I've been a die-hard fan for years. I went to their concert last weekend at Huntington Beach and this creepy guy was trying to rape me, or attack me or something, to be honest I don't even know. But it doesn't matter. Thankfully, Matty, Jimmy, and Zacky literally stopped the show to come help me." The interviewer nodded and smiled.
"How about you two?" She asked Mia.
"Oh, if it wasn't for her we never would've met at all. I've been a fan for a little longer than she has. She was secretly hanging out with them and after a few days she introduced me and me and Brian hit it off right away." Mia explained, smiling at Brian.
"So, Lucy. What's it like being Zacky Vengeance's girlfriend? I'm sure millions of girls would love to be in your shoes." The interviewer asked. I couldn't help but smile. I even liked when other people said it.
"It's freaking amazing. There really are no words to describe it. He's so sweet." Zacky blushed and kissed my cheek.
"And Mia, what's it like to be dating Synyster Gates?" She asked Mia. Mia looked towards me and said,
"I agree with Mia. You really can't describe it. All of these guys are the sweetest kids. They really are just some dorky kids from Orange County living their dream. They aren't jerky snobs who let fame get to them." I nodded and so did the interviewer. She then said,
"I think we're just about done here. Let's get some shots of the guys with their girlfriends and we'll be on our way."
They took the two pictures of just Brian and Zacky, two of Mia and I, and four of the four of us.
On the drive home, I rested my head on Zacky's shoulder. We whispered in my ear,
"You did good today." With a smile. I could feel his smile and I took his hand. It was pretty quiet the rest of the ride home, but there were no words to describe this day.
