I'd actually originally planned to use Almost Easy in my Brian story...Almost Easy... see what I did there? But I fucked myself into the wrong timeline, so it seemed a natural fit here. ;)

And we love you!!! And this masterpiece!!
So, I have never really studied the lyrics of 'Almost Easy'. They fit fucking perfectly with this story!! Love it! (I have never been good at realising lyric meanings. I was singing a lot of RHCP songs when I was younger in ignorant bliss, not realising that as a 12 year old I should not be singing the lyrics to 'Purple Stain')
Jenny is so right it hurts! But hey, at least Aria will have an awesome time getting to heartbreak.

Not that it's the same thing, at all, but I understand where you're coming from. I pretty well couldn't maintain a steady relationship (or a healthy one) for most of my life because of my demons. I happened upon the right guy (who looks a lot like a young Brian. No joke.) and he's my first, and maybe only, true relationship.
Have some faith that you have a lot to offer and you'll find the right man in time. For the record, I think you're beautiful and a woman that reads will always be a plus in my books. Leave the shallow and uneducated douches for the basic bitches. Don't settle for anything less than you deserve.
