I have my doubts they're going to make it. I was rooting for them so hard when she was growing so well, but it's like she just slid down that slippery slope into a pile of utter quagmire.

Blair has repeatedly tried to move past the crazy shit that is Aria. But somehow BP still ends up coming off the bad guy. Poor BH. Everyone’s trying to explain reality to Aria and she still can’t hear it. She’s definitely too insecure.
And maybe Jimmys becoming a bit insecure in their relationship too. Because you’re right, their conversations are usually more drama than they’re worth.

Yeah, the grip has to loosen, right? I mean, that is what Jimmy is doing at the moment. Aria is there, but he doesnt even acknowledge it because most their interactions are just more drama than its worth (god that sucked to write!).

Aria is honestly just such a victim that it makes it difficult to actually have an earnest conversation with her. Blair has tried (in her own blair way) to extend the olive branch on more than one occasion but then Aria ends up doing something shifty or basically talking shit about BP behind her back. There’s definitely a wedge there now and I think it can only get worse. I think Aria might be spiralling haha
Theyre pretty damn toxic. I think Plaguia might be a suitable name. They’re gripping onto one another but ...for what? And at what cost? Hmmm.

I’ve desperately tried to push Aria forward, I swear. But it always seems to circle around to the same place.
Jimmy seems to have checked out at the moment as well. He basically did not acknowledge Arias existence at all. I think maybe he’s a bit guilty resenting at the moment? He knows he fucked up but ahem, so did she. And she started it. Just sayin.
I think Brian’s made peace with the past in favor of living a life with Blair. He’s taken responsibility for the things he’d done to get Blair to her breaking point and they’ve moved past it. Can always count on the Bs to see it through. Brian has also never been threatened by Blair and Jimmy, in this universe or the other. He loves them separately and can see what kind of effect they have on each other. I don’t think Aria is capable of that sort of perspective because she’s still semi-convinced that Blair is the villain. She’s missing the most important piece of the puzzle: she is her own worst enemy. She’s her own damn villain.

But still... Brian clearly gives no fucks anymore about the past, yet Aria has the ever consuming memories of the worst time of her life (and I mean, totally fair enough! I am enough like Aria that I wouldn't let that shit go easily!)

It could be! I’m sure that has something to do with the resurgence of the past. Blair and Jimmy seem to get closer while Aria gets pushed to the side. And yet, Brian isn’t pushed to the side at all. It’s all very interesting ;)
Maybe there’s only so far she can grow. Maybe this is just who she is!

Plaguia is having a bad time!! Aria obviously has some issues that she hasn’t, or won’t, deal with. I think Brian’s been pretty patient but it’s obvious where his loyalties lie.
I don’t know if the future is holding good things for our Aria....

Finally caught up here - again! Life is hard with a toddler... and a slave driver who insists on new chapters every day...

Honestly? Aria was kind of annoying in this chapter, I just want to slap some sense into her!! GET IT TOGETHER ARIA, YOU ARE BRINGING IT UPON YOURSELF.
Alsooooo, don't think I didn't notice Jimmy's little dip back into whatever he's dipping into... I'm narrowing my eyes right now, wasn't that supposed to be a thing of the past, Jimmy? HMM?
