Matt sang his heart out every night, looking forward to what came after, and he got that teasing smirk at his guitarist’s lips every night--half lidded brown eyes flirting from under that fucking fedora. He put up with the fangirls--and fanboys--when they shamelessly threw themselves at his property, growling to himself the entire time.



Brian would get tinges of jealousy now and then, catching Shads throwing around those dimples sometimes at random deathbats, but usually just smiled to himself knowing the huge beast was his and getting those warm fuzzies inside. Plus, he was often too wrapped up in his own worshipers to notice anything else as he was complimented and told he was the greatest and hottest guitarist who ever lived.

One night at one of the after parties he got cornered by a pretty deathbat with long, pink hair a pretty blue eyes. She was actually quite good at being flirty without seeming desperate, and he couldn’t help but flirt back. Before he could mention he was taken, she all out asked if he wanted to leave.

Syn grinned wide, “Sorry, honey, I’m spoken for.”
Her eyes got wide, “But...you’re the notorious single one.”
“Not anymore.” Just then he felt strong hands settle on his waist and that snarl at his ear that made him melt inside.

“Yeah. He’s mine, sweetie. Go talk to Zacky, I’m sure he’s lookin’ to get laid tonight.” Dangerous hazel eyes glinted down at her as she swallowed hard and scurried off.

“Nice to know you turned her down.” His voice was low and still in his ear.
Brian whirled around and soon found Matt’s arms around his waist, “Of course, Matty.” Shadows’ eyes blew wide when Syn’s arms went up around his neck and fingers pulled at the back of his neck so Bri could whisper in his ear, “You satisfy all my desires, I have no reason to cheat on you, baby.”

Their interaction had caught the curious gazes of several people around them, but Matt had hardly noticed since Brian’s words had exactly the effect they’d been going for. Synyster was immediately wrapped up in a crushing, passionate kiss--there on display for anyone and everyone to witness. Gates buckled at the knees, falling against Matt as he was caught in the guy’s warm embrace. Lips opening so Shads could claim his prize, Brian whimpered a little into the kiss.
Someone in the area started shouting and suddenly the little crowd had erupted in applause. The couple broke apart, Shadows shamelessly popping his dimples and Brian blushing prettily. Matt slapped his lover on his butt, winking at him when he jumped and nodding him towards their bus.

“God, fucking you is the most fun I’ve ever had, Syn…” Matt left little kisses over Brian’s shoulders as he slipped out of him and Gates tried to catch his breath.
Synyster could hardly see straight. Forcing his heart rate down and pulling the shirt off his dick that he’d just come into, Brian just smiled and hummed in agreement. He was always an incoherent mess after Matt had just finished.
Shads pulled the guitarist in close by his sweaty chest, dimples popping as he petted his long black strands, “You take me unlike any woman ever could. It’s so fucking hot.”

“Matty, you sweet talker…” Brian grinned wide as he closed his eyes, “You feel so incredible inside me…” He couldn’t help the arch back of his hips as he said it, even though he knew it might get him into trouble, “Their loss.”

Matt inhaled in immediate frustration, stilling Syn’s hips with a large hand, “Careful, baby. I don’t want to fucking break you.”
Brian turned and laced his long fingers into Matt’s hair, biting his lower lip flirtatiously, “I’d like to see you try.”

The vocalist closed his eyes, attempting to rein it in, “You fucking tease, Gates. Geezus, you never let me stay satisfied for long.” His restraint buckled and he slid back into the guitarist all at once as Brian let out a yelp, followed by a delicious moan. Matt fucked hard and fast, reaching around his lover to stroke him in a matching rhythm. From this angle it was easy, especially since it was his right hand wrapped around Brian’s hardening cock. Gates pushed against the wall, back into Matt’s chest, face grimacing gorgeously until they were both coming again.

“That’s why you don’t tease me, Gates.” Matt patted Brian’s ass again as he pulled up his shorts.
Synyster laughed, “No, I think that’s why I do tease you.”

The following day was spent lazily lying around the bus as it was a travel day. Fortunately, it ended with getting a couple of days off at home. Knowing Matt should probably give Brian some time to himself, the buses let them all off at their respective houses and they all separately spent time with their families.

Shadows restlessly hung out in his own huge house all by himself, blasting the newest Atreyu and trying to get Brian off his mind. Around midnight, he gave up and drove over to Syn’s house, thinking surprising him might be fun. Pulling into the driveway, he saw Brian Sr’s car there.

“Um...hey, Matt.” Brian answered the door, surprised at first, but soon giving him a once over, “Come in.”

Papa Gates came in the living room with a couple of beers and handed them out to the boys, “Hey, Matt.”

Shadows looked around at the guitars strewn about and smiled at Brian, “Hey.”

They made small talk for a little while, but eventually Brian could tell his father was pretty curious why Matt had shown up at midnight without even calling--not that it would’ve been uncommon when they were teens but now it was a little off since they were on tour and saw each other all day everyday.

“Dad...something you should probably know about…” He pulled on his neck before looking nervously up at Matt, who was nervously chewing his lip ring. Reaching out for Matt’s hand, Brian ripped off the bandaid, “Matt and I are dating.”
Shads did his best to stand tall, fingers threaded through Brian’s as his father’s mouth gaped open, “Wow, okay...Brian, I figured you were just curious, but…” He shrugged.

“What!?” Gates looked over at his dad curiously.

“C’mon, son. I was at the shooting of Beast and the Harlot. Everyone there knew what was up. Did this actually happen recently? Because that was months ago, figured you’d have it out of your system by now.”

Brian blushed and Matt wondered if he’d ever get tired of watching his cheeks color, “It’s definitely not something I’ll get out of my system, Dad. It did happen recently….we teased each other for a long time...but...we’re in love.”

This was clearly a conversation none of them wanted to be having, but each of them made the best of it. Matt unthreaded his fingers and put an arm around Syn’s shoulders, clearing his throat, “I want you to know that I’ll take really good care of your son, Papa.” They’d all gotten comfortable calling him such over the years. He looked down into his partner’s beckoning brown eyes, “I could never do anything to hurt Brian, and I definitely hope he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.”

Brian Sr. shook his head, impressed, “Wow, you weren’t kidding, Brian. Well, you guys are grown men, you do whatever you want--even if that’s each other,” He laughed and shook Matt’s hand before turning to Brian Jr., “We can hang out more tomorrow, son. Goodnight guys.”

They watched him leave and Matt sank down on the back of the couch, “Wow, that was harder than I thought it’d be.”
Brian smirked, “Yeah, you haven’t given a fuck what anyone thinks about us, Matt.”
“Well, he’s your dad, Brian. I want him to like me.”
“He already likes you.”
“No, he did like me. Now I’m plowing his son.”
Gates gave a sideways smile and plastered himself up against Shadows, “Yes you are.”
Green eyes brightened when he found Brian’s teasing gaze.

“So you just couldn’t stay away from me, even for one night?” Long eyelashes batted up at him as teeth played with a pouty bottom lip.
Matt’s insides tightened as he gazed at the lip. Mouth dry, he managed, “No.” But he was only the sappy one for a moment before narrowing his now-fired-up eyes, “On your knees right now, Brian.”
Holy geezus.

Shadows fucked his pretty mouth for some momentary relief before hauling the guitarist off to his room and making sure they were both extremely satisfied when the next half hour ended. When they could both breathe and see again, Matt looked around Brian’s room--realizing how much it reminded him of high school even though it wasn’t where they’d actually been back then, just a lot of the same stuff.

He laid back, hand behind his head, “Remember when we used to look at porn together back in the day? So weird.”
“Yeah, you’d always take the Hustlers and I always took the Playboys.”
Matt tried his best to non-chalantly ask his next question, “You’re not going to want to go back to pussy one day, are you?”

Brian let his heart flutter at his unsure hunk of a man lying there next to him, “No, Matty. As I told you earlier, you give me more than I could ever need--or want.”

Matt raised over Gates again, staring down at his new lover. Shy brown eyes looked back at him as the guitarist blushed and bit his lip again, “Matty...no woman could ever own me the way that you do. I never knew I needed that, but when it comes to you...I love how you demand that I’m yours.”
Shadows couldn’t help but kiss him possessively, “Good.”

Brian woke up alone in bed, wondering if he’d made up the entire night, when he walked into his kitchen to find Shoulders there, arm across the open fridge door as he tried to find something to eat. Smiling a little at the sight before him, he walked up to kiss the bare shoulders.

“Morning.”
“Morning.”
“I can make you breakfast, Shads. I know you don’t cook.”
Matt turned and closed the door, “Okay. Thanks, baby. I’m starving.”

Gates laughed at their domesticity and went about making his boyfriend breakfast as Matt sat at the island and stared, unable to believe how lucky he was.

“Let me take you out tonight.” He finally blurted out.
“Um, what?” Syn chuckled, “You don’t have to do that, Shads. I know you’re not one for...romance and the like. I knew what I was signing up for.”
Shadows furrowed his brow, even though Brian was still turned the other way, “Maybe I just want to spend time with you. Is that alright?”
“Yeah, o-of course. What did you have in mind?”
“I could call and get us reservations at Rossilli’s.”

Brian turned and gave Matt a look as he referenced the fanciest place in HB, where you had to have reservations and got a five-course meal. The gleaming look in his eyes made Syn realize he was to be toted around like a show pony, “Oh my god, you just want to show me off like I’m a trophy!!!”

Shadows strolled over, that cocky smirk on his face, and put his hands on Brian’s hips, “You can’t tell me don’t enjoy the idea of being paraded around as much I like parading you around.” Dimples flashed and Syn had to admit Matt knew him too well.

“Good. I’ll make a call.”
