Don't Fall to Far From Where You Are

You've Become My Drug...My Addiction

I woke slowly stretching as much as I could with an arm thrown over my stomach. I sighed and looked down at the ink-covered arm. I ran my fingers over his arm, slipping from his grasp. I stood and wandered into my bathroom. I stretched once I finished my business wandering down the hall to the kitchen. I sighed, beginning to make my usual breakfast, protein shake, oatmeal and a banana. I heard footsteps and smiled when I saw Brian’s sleepy figure. He walked over kissing my forehead. I smiled, “morning.”

“Morning,” he said softly. “Coffee?”

I nodded, “I’ll make you some.”

I stepped away from him and made a cup of coffee as he sat down at the island. I handed him the freshly brewed cup and went back to my oatmeal. I looked at Brian and sighed. He sipped it slowly, “what time is it?”

“Ten,” I said softly.

He sighed, “I got to go to the studio with the guys, we are almost done with our album.”

I smiled, “about time.”

He nodded, “can I take you to dinner tonight?”

I nodded, “yeah, I’ll get Britt to open up for me tonight.”

He smiled widely,” awesome. Dress up, I’m going to take you somewhere nice.”

“Babe I always dress up for you,” I smiled widely at him, wiggling my eyebrows slightly.

He smiled big, “I know, but I just want to make sure.”

I nodded and stretched, “you sticking around or do you want me to drop you off at home as I go to the gym?”

He looked at me from his coffee, “you could just drop me off at the studio honestly, it’s more on your route to the gym.”

I nodded, “okay, I’m going to change then we can go. Okay?”

He agreed and I walked down the hallway. After slipping into a black sports bra and a pair of black capris. I walked down the hall sliding my tennis shoes on as I walked. I looked at him, “ready?”

He nodded, dressed himself again. I smiled and grabbed what I needed and led him to the garage. I stepped out and locked it behind me. I walked over to my Jeep Wrangler and smiled. He slid in, “you got a new vehicle?”

I nodded, “it’s actually really, really new.” He nodded and I smiled, “I got it about three weeks ago.”

I hit a few buttons on the roof and the garage door in front of us opened. I pulled away and closed the door of the garage. I looked back making sure it closed. I looked at Brian, “see the door between the two garage doors?” He nodded, “the other door is the garage for the club, for deliveries. The door between is a hallway towards the club, or both garages. If you happen to come over, enter through the garage.”

I smiled and pulled away. He nodded, “okay, I’ll remember that, but how am I suppose to get in?”

“My key is the date I decided to get clean, the day you pulled me off the stage,” I whispered softly. “It’s something no one else really knows.”

August 6th 2011,” he said softly. I nodded and he sighed, “three days before your birthday. I’m sorry babe.”

I smiled, “it’s okay. I was checked into rehab on my birthday.” I sighed softly as I drove us to the studio, “I thought if I stayed out on my birthday, I’d, I’d get fucked up on something I shouldn’t.”

He smiled, “I’m very proud of you.”

It meant the world that he was proud of me for my effort to become clean and stay clean. I smiled, “it means a lot to hear you say that.”

He nodded, “you haven’t had those urges?”

I nodded, “I have, not as much as back when you showed up in Vegas a year ago.” I looked at him smirk, “you we’re the one to give me that big high.”

He laughed, “what?”

“That was the best fucking sex you had ever gave me in a long time,” I smirked. “I was high on your sex for days.”

He laughed, “Glad I could satisfy your urges.”

I pulled up in front of the studio to see all the cars parked outside. I sighed and looked at Brian, “your stop sir.”

He looked over at me, “I’ll text you and I’ll see you at dinner.”

I nodded, “okay.”

He smiled leaning over, kissing my cheek, “have a good day beautiful.”

“You too handsome,” I said and pressed my own lips to his cheek.

He slid out and I watched him walk into the studio before driving down the street to the gym I used. I walked in and smiled, “Dan!”

Dan Abell smiled, “hey pretty lady. How are you?” Dan has been a friend of the A7X family for many years. When I came back to Huntington, I hit him up. I needed to get back into the shape I use too be. He had done that and we would keep doing that.

“Good, sorry I’m late,” I told him and setting everything down by the cubbyhole area.

“You’re routine is written on the board, I’m going to crush a work out too,” he said walking over and turn the music on, cranking it up. “Let me know if you need me.”

I nodded and pushed my Beats Ear buds in. I played some music for myself, not that the music Dan played wasn’t motivating, but I needed to close the world out. I looked at the board and got into my workout he had set up for me.

I got into the zone, but couldn’t stay in the zone for my workout. My mind was wondering. I was remember the moment I had with Brian. He had showed up on my birthday. Surprising me. I wasn’t working, but I was at one of the many clubs I’ve worked at that had dancers, not ‘strippers’, but pole dancers. My mind drifted into the memory…

The place was awesome; it was like right of a movie. Well, not a movie, movies were filmed here! Music videos were shot here. Girls danced on poles, in cages, etcetera! I worked here a time or two, but you could find me here drinking at times.

I was up in the VIP booth enjoying myself. I mean it was my birthday. I had people I know and people I didn’t know; they were game to party. I wanted to party. I stared at a group of girls I had worked with all curled around a small table. The white powder was in lines on the table. I wanted it. I wanted that high. I knew better than to let my urges get to me, but I was still in a deep trance, staring at the white substance, watching them throw their heads back in enjoyment from the rush it gave them.

I felt arms wrap around me, then a pair of hands cup my face. I saw the eyes of the man I loved more than ever; the man that was the reason for my sobriety. His mouth was moving, but I couldn’t hear anything. It was like a constant buzz in the room and it wouldn’t stop. I started to shake. I didn’t want the drug. I didn’t want it. I wanted the high. I wanted the rush. I placed my hands on his chest lightly, hoping it would pull me back down. I still couldn’t hear his yelling at me. I stared at him, breaking my trance some how to say, “get me out of here.”

He pulled me away and the heat of the Vegas desert hit me as soon as we stepped outside and I wrapped my arms around Brian, snapping out of it. He held me close, “Jessie.”

I shook my head, “I didn’t…” I felt like crying, but I didn’t. I was just happy he was there. He saved me once again.

He nodded, “I know. Come on.”

I looked at him, “where we going?”

“My hotel,” he said and we ran across the street. I smiled as he zigzagged us through the crowds. He pulled me into the revolving door, his arm slipping around my waist. I was feeling electricity run through my body each time he touched me. It was like he was gone longer than he was. I had no clue I was aching for his touch.

I stared at him as we rode the elevator up the floors to his hotel room. I reached up running a hand through his spiked dark hair. I took him in. I had just seen him a month ago, on his own birthday, but I felt like it had been a long time again. I ran my finger down his jawline.

The Bing of the elevator pulled me from the trance I fell in. I felt him pull me down the hall once again, then into his room. I watched as he flickered the light on and toss his jacket to a chair. I walked into the room further. I watched him move around the room, while I took in the night sky of Vegas. It was something I found very beautiful; all the neon lights that flickered and lit the sky up.

I felt his arm wrap around my waist and hand me a drink. I smiled a thank you. He nodded giving me a moment of peace as I stared out the window. I leaned into his frame slowly. He pressed his chin on my shoulder, “you good?” Hugging my close to his frame. I took in his scent, trying to relax.

I shook my head, “no.”

He nodded, “you didn’t, I know you said…”

I shook my head softly, “you came at the right time.”

He nodded, turning me in his arms, “how you feeling now?”

“Better, but I need to feel high, I need a rush,” I said softly.

He nodded, “come on.”

I nodded as he walked me further into his hotel, he must have bought a suite. He usually did when he was here with me. I felt his fingers unzipping the black dress I wore. I looked at him, “Brian.”

He smiled, “get in the pool.”

“I’m not wearing a swim suit,” I whispered to him staring at the exclusive pool in his hotel suite.

“It’s my pool for the night, now get in it. It’s just us,” he said softly. I could tell he was eating up the shyness I was putting off. I was an exotic dancer; I never got shy about my body. I was confident in my body…or I told myself I was every day.

I nodded and let the dress fall around me, leaving me in my six-inch heels. He looked over at me as I stood there, stripping down to nothing himself. He cannonballed into the pool, splashing me. I giggled and he looked up at me as he surfaced, “get in!

I reached down, slipping from my heels; I jumped in much like he had. I gasped as I came back up, soaked. He laughed at me. I smiled up at him and he wrapped his arms around on me, “you are so beautiful Jessie.”

I smiled up at him, “thanks B.”

He smiled and lifted me up only to throw me into the water again. This went on for about thirty minutes, Brian trying to make sure I had fun and I loved every bit of this and had a rush.

I watched as Brian held a phone to his ear and drank from his drink in the pool while I sipped a drink from the steps of the pool, lounging back.

He set the phone down and swam over to me. His lips capturing mine the moment he was close enough, then speaking in between each kiss, “you, look, so, sexy, laying here.”

I giggled, rolling us so I was looking down at him, kissing his lips as he stared up at me, “fuck me.”

He smirked, and lifted me up, carrying me from the pool and setting me on a table, dripping water everywhere as he did. I wrapped my legs around his waist, “don’t worry about a condom; just fuck me.” I was so aroused and I needed to feel him. I needed to have him touch me. I needed his rough love…He nodded, caressing my leg. He pulled me into a kiss as I felt him slide into me. I ached for his touch, more than I wanted to let him know.

The next morning I woke curled in Brian’s arms in a hotel room that had been turned upside down. It looked as if someone had thrown a party, but no, Brian and I just had lots, lots of hot, messy sex. It had been a long time since we had rough sex the way we had it then. August 9th 2012 was down right amazing….

I dropped the bar weighed bar behind me and Dan glared at me, “what was that?” He was getting tired of me not focusing.

I looked at Dan, “it was too heavy.”

He shook his head, “your head is elsewhere.”

“Blame Brian,” I sighed heavily.

Brian?” he asked softly. He knew how much I wanted to make it work with Brian once again. This gym had become my therapy. Dan was my therapist and he didn’t complain, because he was a big brother in that way. We had grown up together. “What’s Brian done now?”

I sighed placing my hands on my hips, breathing heavy, “he is taking me to dinner and all I can think about right now is how fucking horny I am.”

He looked at me, “well it’s about time you finally answer his calls.”

I sighed, “Dan, I don’t want to ruin this with Brian again. You know that…”

“Then don’t get into drugs,” he said softly.

“He’s my drug,” I said softly. “He gives me such a rush. This gym and him are my drugs.”

He nodded, “good. Now what are we going to do because you have only gotten half way with your work out.”

I sighed, “give me a moment.” I threw my head back and took a deep breathing, trying to find my core and center to get through this work out.

Eventually I was able to finish my work out. I went and got lunch with Britt then went to do some shopping with her before I had to go home to ready for dinner with Brian.
