Beyond the Coal Fields
Summary
Josie Pearl Hatfield is just a simple small town girl. Her home town is slowly going to hell due to the steep decline in the coal market and the drug epidemic. Nevertheless, she still takes pride in coming from the heart of coal country; Bandit Creek in West Virginia. Her brother is an underground coal miner, as was her father, whom was killed in a mine explosion. Her grieving mother, Mindy, develops an addiction to escape dealing with the aftermath. Josie has always dreamed what life was like on the other side of the Appalachian Mountains. With the mistake of one man and the ballsiness of another, her dreams can possibly come true.
I do not own Avenged Sevenfold nor the band members (sadly).

I like it so far! It's easy for me to imagine this story, cause i live in Southern Ohio. I live a hour away from Huntington, WV, and a few hours away from Charleston. Can't wait to read more! =)
