Saige's POV

The past three months have been great and I’m finally feeling better. My morning sickness has subsided quite a bit. Matt has been so helpful and been there when I needed him the most. Benji is not talking to me right now which I am not surprised about since he pretty wants nothing to do with the baby. He sends me a bank deposit every month but I have not had any other contact with him. I try not to worry about Benji because now there is nothing I can but focus on myself, the baby and my relationship with Matt.

Matt and I have grown so much closer and I feel the happiest I’ve felt in a couple years. He is finishing up his recording of Avenged Sevenfold new album but we still spend a lot of time together. I’ve fallen so hard in love with him and we recently started saying ‘I love you’ and it still gives me butterflies.

Matt has been really open with me and sharing the band’s music with me and the other guys have been so welcoming with me with as well. I feel so loved but that is not to say I did not feel that way with Good Charlotte. I still talk to Joel and he told me Benji has not been himself and he said if I needed anything not to hesitate and contact him.

I parked my car at Matt’s house and walked to the door and right inside. I have been staying at his house a lot of the time but we have not discussed living arrangements yet. I have been thinking about renting my house out if he is okay with us living together on a full-time basis. I slipped my black flats off and put my purse by my shoes. “Matt?” I called out.

When I did not hear anything, I walked downstairs to where he had a recording studio set up. I walked down the stairs and smiled when I saw him strumming on one of his guitars and singing one of the new Avenged songs. I didn’t want to scare so I slowly walked towards him and then he saw me.

He stopped playing and put his guitar to the side and welcomed my presence. “Hey babe.” He stood up and wrapped his arms around me and leaned down kissed my lips.

“Hey sweetheart. Did the last of the recording go well today?” I asked with a smile and he led me to his desk and ushered me to sit. “Yeah it went really well. I’m happy how things went this time around. I’m proud of how far we have come as a band. I am also thankful for you and how much of positive influence you have been on me.” He smiled and I felt tears come to my eyes. My damn hormones are always getting in the way “Aww Matty.” I stood up and hugged him again. “Your amazing and I love you so much.”

“I love you too, Saige more than you know.”

“You make me feel like a spoiled child.” I grinned and ran my hand over my growing baby bump and brought one of Matt’s hand to my belly. “This baby is going to be so spoiled too.”

“I can’t deny that fact.” He smiled and those dimples always got the best of me.

“Can I hear one of the finished songs? I’m sure the baby will love it too.” I smiled and I will soon find out the sex of the baby at my next ultrasound appointment. I am currently entering my fifth month of my pregnancy and the ultrasound technician said the baby’s sex should be easier to tell next time. Matt has come with me to all my doctor’s appointments which have made me feel better about this pregnancy.

“Of course.” He opened the recorded tracks on his computer and once I heard the music the smile did not leave my face.

I was there for some of the recordings but it was awesome to hear the finished songs and I feel incredibly proud of my boyfriend. I liked all the songs he has shown me but I really love ‘Dear God’ one and it gives me shivers. “It sounds so good Matt.” I wrapped my arm around his waist as we moved our bodies to the music. I then leaned up and kissed his lips as the music continued to play.

I knew Matt would have to start touring again to promote the new album but for now, I was enjoying these simple moments between us. Once the song was over I looked up at Matt “the fans are going to love the new stuff.”

“I hope so.” I knew how hard Matt and the band worked so the fans should be happy to have access to such good music. Even though I’m biased I know good music since I have been around musicians for a huge chunk of my life. I was a bit musical myself but nothing compared to Matt and the other guys though. It was awesome hanging out in the studio when they were recording and seeing how amazing their work ethic was.

“I’ve been down here all morning so I think I’m ready for a break and we can finally spend some time together.” Matt took my hand and I followed him back upstairs and he led me to the kitchen. “I’m so hungry.” He had quite an appetite and mine was ever expanding.

“Me too and I ate a good breakfast.” I had been working as hard as I could to eat a balanced diet and Matt has been helping me. We also work out together a couple days a week which I always look forward to even when I’m feeling tired. Of course, I must do modified versions of the workouts and it is nice to have someone to motivate me.

I watched as Matt got made us lunch and then we ate together at the kitchen table and as we were about to be finished I reached over and placed one of my hands on Matt’s knee. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

“I have a something to talk to you about but I promise it's nothing bad.” He looked over at me with a curious look.

“What’s on your mind darling?”

“I know we have not been dating for a long time but I’ve been thinking about our current living arrangements. I was wondering if you’re ready for us to leave together on a more permanent basis?”

I watched as a smile came on my boyfriend’s face. “I’ve been thinking about that as well but I was not sure if you were on the same page but clearly you are.”

“I don’t want to rush things between us but I think it would be nice to take us to the next level.” I smiled and moved my hand from Matt’s knee to his tattooed arm. “I mean I’m here most of the time anyways.” I grinned.

“That’s true. What are you going to do about your house? I know you only purchased it a few months ago but I want to leave that up to you.”

“I was actually thinking about renting it out for now and then go from there.” As much as I loved Matt I am not ready to sell my house just yet. I just want to see what happens between us which could not get any better for the time being.

“That’s a great idea and I’m sure you’ll have no troubles finding people to rent it out.”

“I was thinking the same thing.” I smiled and leaned over and kiss Matt’s lips. “You know you’re the best.”

“I’ve heard.” He grinned and pulled me into his lap and ran one of his hands on my baby bump and it felt nice.

“It’s true. You have made me so happy over the last few months and I could not ask more of you.” I ran my hands up and down those sexy muscular tattooed arms.

“I can honestly say you're bringing the best out in me and I can’t complain.” Matt smiled and it was nice to see how happy he was these days. I knew how complicated his relationship was with my friend Sophie was. I have not seen her in ages but I’m sure I will at some point since she lives in Huntington Beach.

I leaned in and kissed Matt again and ran my hands through his short hair and I moved my body into his. I started to feel turned on and I knew the pregnancy hormones were partly to blame but it did not take much for Matt to get me going. But just as I was about to suggest we go to the bedroom there was the front door bell rang.

Matt pulled away from our kiss “that must be the guys.”

I kissed his lips again “We will continue this later.” I grinned and slowly got off my boyfriend’s lap to go answer the door. I fixed my hair up and opened the door and smiled when I saw Nicole and Jimmy.

“Hey, guys come in.” I stepped aside and let them in. Usually, Jimmy would walk right in but Nicole was with him so she stopped Jimmy from doing so.

Nicole gave me a grin and she could probably tell what Matt and I were up to. She could always read me so well. Jimmy gave me a hug and immediately went to rub my baby bump “Have you felt the baby move yet?” I looked up at him with a smile.
“I felt a bit of movement but nothing too much just yet.”

“I can’t wait to feel the baby move.” Jimmy was adorable and I’m glad he and my sister are together.

Nicole then gave me a hug and it was so nice to see her since she had so busy with work. She ran a hair salon in LA and in Huntington Beach so she was always going back and forth. “I came over with Jimmy to see you if you wanted to go shopping with me while they do their guy things.”

“Yeah, I would love to.” I smiled. “I’ll go quickly get ready and then we can go.” I walked into the kitchen where Matt and Jimmy were talking.

I walked over to Matt and kissed his cheek. “Nicole and I are going shopping. I’ll see you tonight.” I then whispered in his ear “We will continue what we started earlier.” I kissed his lips and walked to the bedroom and I could feel Matt’s eyes on me and made me feel good about myself, and especially how I look pregnant.

Once I was all changed I looked at myself in the mirror and ran my hand over my growing baby bump and I really wished the baby was Matt’s. I just wish Benji would at least call and ask me how I was doing instead of just putting money in my bank account. I felt tears come to my eyes and I quickly wiped them away and pushed the negative thoughts aside.

Nicole and I said our goodbyes to Matt and Jimmy and headed out. We decided to drive a bit outside of Huntington Beach. It was nice to spend some time with my sister who was a workaholic most times.

She helped me do some clothes shopping and I had to cave and buy some maternity clothes since my most of pants were no longer fitting well over my expanding baby bump. After we were done shopping I was once again feeling hungry. We stopped at a Thai restaurant in Newport Beach.

We got a table away and felt like anyone could recognize me but there was nothing I could do. Once we were seated my sister started asking me many questions. I was bit overwhelmed by her grilling me. But at the same time, I knew she cared deeply about me so I tried not to let it get to me.

“So Benji is not talking to you at all?”

“No, I have not talked to him since Matt and I went to his house a couple months back. I’m not sure I’m ready to cut him out my life completely and I want the baby to know who their father is. Even though Matt said he would be the dad that Benji clearly does not want to be right now. Matt will make a great dad no matter what happens with my Benji because I know I want more kids after this one.” My hand went my baby bump and I moved it around slowly.

“I’m happy that Matt has been so good to you the last few months since you moved back to Huntington Beach. Are you worried about how things might change once Avenged Sevenfold goes back on tour?”

“I’ve thought about it and of course I’m bit worried. But I know that Matt loves me and I have to trust him you know?”

“Yeah I know what you mean and I feel the same about Jimmy.” I am happy my sister understands where I’m coming from but I can tell she has some reservations about my relationship with Matt since it happened not long after my divorce from Benji.

“It’s going to be hard when Matt’s on tour because I really wish I could go with him. But I’ll just have to be strong and talk to him when I can.” I felt tears come to my eyes and these pregnancy hormones are fucking with my emotions so much. I then felt Nicole’s hand touch my arm and I looked over at her with a half-smile.

“I’ll make sure to keep you company when I’m not busy with work. Plus, you never know Benji might come around. Just give things time and hopefully he will realize being a dick to you was wrong.”

“I hope so.” I smiled at Nicole’s positivity. We then ordered our food and engaged in small talk until we were ready to head back to home. The drive only took about twenty minutes and I was happy to be back home. It was nice to have some sister time which I never took for granted these days. She parked the car in Matt’s driveway and helped me with the bags and we headed inside. Nicole had head to the salon in town and she gave me hug and was on her way.

I put the bags off to the side in the bedroom and as I was about to head downstairs Matt walked into the room.

“Hey babe I thought I heard you come in.” He wrapped his arms around me from behind and I smiled.

“I’m happy to be back. Nicole was grilling me but it was nice to see her.” I giggled when Matt started kissing the sensitive spots on my neck.

I then turned around in Matt’s arms and kissed him softly on the lips. “Make love to me Matty.” I know that sounds cheesy but Matt shows me so much affection I feel like a teenager all over again.

“I’m all yours tonight baby.” Matt smiled and connected our lips again and our clothes ended up scattered all over the floor.

He laid me down on the bed and we did not bother with foreplay this time around. He entered me and all I could do was moan and enjoy the feelings of pleasure. “God Saige, you feel so fucking good.” Matt moaned in my ear as he kissed along my neck, jaw and ended up at my lips.

It did not take long for each of us to reach our peaks and Matt slowly pulled out of me. He then laid close next to me. We both stayed silent for a few minutes as we came down from our pleasure high. I looked over at him and ran my hand over his tattooed chest and grinned. “What are we going to do when your tour?”

“I know right. I wish you could come with me.” He ran his hand through my now messy locks.

“I know baby, but with the pregnancy it would be best to stay home and rest.” I leaned over and kissed my man softly. “We’ll get manage and when your back home it will be that much better.” I grinned. We stayed in bed for the rest of the night and enjoyed several rounds of sex and my pregnancy hormones were making me feel amazing right now.
