Saige's POV

I walked up to the front and decided to knock since it had been so long since I had been to his place. I could hear the music playing and knew the party was started and knew the alcohol was flowing as well.

“Hey Saige, come on in.” Matt stepped aside and I walked inside his beautiful house which looked very well kept for a single guy.

“The place is looking pretty awesome.” I offered him a smile as I slipped off my sneakers and pushed them off to the side where his shoes were. I then eyed his body and damn he was looking so damn fit and he was dressed in a cut off tee shirt and shorts which always suited him so well. “Thanks.” When Matt smiled at me it showed me just how happy he was and it made my heart melt. Deep down I always wanted to make him happy so I am grateful we are such good friends. “The guys are dying to see you again.”

I grinned. “I bet they are I missed everyone so much.” Matt rested an arm around my shoulders and ushered me further inside. “Let’s get you a drink.” We headed to Matt’s large kitchen was which pretty impressive compared to my house which was much smaller.

We downed our shots and the alcohol warmed my entire body and then we put down our glasses and the guys once again dispersed around the house. There were a lot of people around mostly the girlfriends of Zacky, Johnny, and Brian. My sister Nicole was dating Jimmy but she was in LA for work. Plus, there were friends of the band and it was nice to see so many familiar faces that I grew up and had a chance to hang out with over the last decade.

Matt and I were now alone in the kitchen and I leaned against the counter as the alcohol seemed to be affecting me more than usual. He stood in front of me and I made eye contact with him.
