“She will fit right into the Avenged family.” I smiled and I could not wait to meet my daughter.

Saige smiled and I saw her start to cry and I wrapped my arm around her “I’m so happy she will have an awesome dad. I love you so much, Matty”

“I love you too Saige. I will always be here for you and Quinn.” I have been waiting to find the right time to purpose marriage to Saige but I’m not sure if she is ready for marriage but I know I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I bought a ring a couple weeks ago and I talked to the guys about it and they knew I was making the right decision. “I’ll be right back babe.”

I walked into our walk-in closet and went into where I kept my dressy clothes and I picked up the black velvet box with the ring in it. I put the box in my shorts pocket and took a deep breath. I knew the proposal would not be super romantic but I could not wait any longer to ask Saige to marry me. I then walked back to bed and Saige gave me a confused look “What did you go in the closet for?”

I pulled the small box out of my pocket and looked over at Saige. “I had plans to make this more romantic but want to ask before Quinn arrives.” I took one of her hands in mine and I smiled and saw tears come to her eyes when she realized what I was doing. “You mean the world to me and the last eight months have been amazing. For the first time in years, I feel truly happy and I don’t want to lose you again. Will you do the honor of becoming my wife Saige?” I opened the box and showed her the ring.

“Matt, you know me romance does not matter and of course I’ll be your wife. I love you so much.” She leaned and kissed my lips and I wiped away her happy tears. I slipped the ring on Saige's finger.

“The ring looks amazing on you.” I smiled and I kissed her lips again. I felt happy she did not turn me down and I should never have had doubts that she wasn’t ready to marry me.

For the rest of the night we relaxed and I knew once the Quinn would arrive we could think about setting a date. I was truly the happiest man and I never thought I could ever be this happy.
