It had taken me forever to convince Robyn to let me take her on a shopping spree. I knew that Brian never spoiled her, and that she grew up poor and unable to buy the things she wanted. So I was going to change that today. Watching her run around Michael’s to get the things she needed for her studio, so that she could continue painting, was entertaining. She was like a little kid in a candystore.

“I’m ready,” she said with a huge smile on her face. The cart was filled at least halfway full, and I didn’t mind. I wasn’t even the least bit worried on how much it was.

Walking up to the registers, I began to unload it onto the counter so that I could pay for them. I wasn’t worried about the total. Not one bit, I knew I was going to spend thousands of dollars today, and I was okay with that.

“Your total is two hundred sixty five and ten cents,” the cashier told me, she seemed surprised that I was perfectly okay with paying that much. I swiped my card and entered my pin. Once I got the receipt, I grabbed the bags and walked to the car.

“Where to next?” I asked her, She had been playing with her hair the whole time that we had been in the store.

“I think it’s time for a change,” she said, not really even looking at me, I think she was more so, talking to herself. “Let’s go to a hair salon,” she shrugged her shoulders.

“Whatever you want princess” I saw her smile and blush slightly before grabbing my hand and dragging me to a salon. As soon as we walked in, I was greeted with the smell of shampoo and conditioner, and the sound of a blowdryer going. “Do you know what you want?” I asked her.

“Yep” she said, popping the P as it came out of her mouth.

“Are you going to tell me?”

“Nope” She did it again. She walked to the back and I sat out in the waiting room, waiting for her. It seemed to take forever, and I was wondering what was taking so long.

Just as I was tempted to walk back there to see what she was getting done, she came out. She had surprised me, she went from her beautiful long blonde hair, to a shoulder length layered cut, and brown hair. She took my breath away. She had natural brown hair, that I knew, because she always made sure to keep her roots hidden, but I never would have thought that she would look this beautiful with her natural color.

“How do I look?” She asked, biting on her bottom lip. I loved it when she did that.

“Absolutely beautiful.” I informed her, making sure to pay the stylist, and give her a nice tip.

“So there is a charity event going on tonight, Val was supposed to go with me, because her and I donated a fuck ton of money, but we broke of the engagement. So would you like to go with me?” I asked her, I would love to see her at a black tie event. When she was with Brian, he normally didn’t take her to events like this. You would think that with him being a huge rockstar and all, he would shower her with a lavish lifestyle. He didn’t, so I was going to.

“You mean like a date?” She asked, staring up at me with those beautiful brown eyes.
“It doesn’t have to be one, I just thought I would invite you to go with me, because I know you weren’t taken to very many, and I think you would have fun. Brian won’t be there, I promise” I told her, hoping to convince her. Honestly, I didn’t know if he would be there or not. I wouldn’t expect him to, not unless he was trying to get laid.

“We could, I suppose, I don’t have anything I could wear to a Black Tie Event though” She said sadly, looking at the ground.

“Well, what do you think this whole day is about?” I asked her, “Shopping of course! So we’ll just buy you something. Something worthy of a princess. Because that’s what you are.”

I grabbed her hand and led her back to the car. I was going to take her to one of the nicest dress shops in town. We were going to pick her out a beautiful dress, and some shoes, and everything to go with it. We were even going to get her nails done. She was going to look like a queen, and I didn’t care what it cost, just as long as she had a smile on her face, and had the time of her life.

Once we arrived, it was like something she hadn’t seen before. She had a very inexpensive wedding, because once again. Brian was a stingy bastard. So she didn’t really get to look at the fancy dresses. Her eyes were wide as marbles, and her mouth was hanging open. I chuckled lightly and put my hand on her chin and closed her mouth.

“Time to find you a dress,” I told her, walking up and down all the aisles. She was pulling dresses off the racks, not even looking at the prices or sizes. She just grabbed what she saw.

“Are you coming?” She asked me, I looked at her and gave her a small smile.

“I’ll be there in a minute. I’ll knock on the door once I’m there okay?” I said to her. She took no time in running off to go and get someone so that she could try on all of her dresses.

Don’t get me wrong, most guys didn’t really have a good fashion sense, and I didn’t really have one either, but I knew with her tan skin, and dark hair, that purple was the way to go for her dress. She didn’t grab a single one. I had my eye on one particular dress. It was the last one, and only had one size left. Grabbing it off of the rack, I made my way to the dressing room, just in time for her to start her little fashion show. I knew she would look good in any of the dresses she picked, but I had a feeling about the one that I had hidden behind me.
