Matt's POV

I knew shit was bad when Brian called me this morning asking to bring Larry along. I knew Brian and Michelle had a huge fight the night before also because Michelle called Valary after the fight balling her eyes out. I had to be up and listen to the whole thing. Valary will never know that I didn't like Brian and Michelle together I always liked Brian and Cheyenne together, they fit each other. I called Larry to let him know what was happening.
"Larry Jacobson." he answered the phone.
"Larry, it's Matt." I said
"Matt what can I do for you my boy."
"Uh I need you to come with me to go see Cheyenne " I said looking down at the ground
"Why what's up, is she really back?" he asked. He loved Cheyenne also. Everyone loved Cheyenne, who couldn't love her. I don't blame Brian for getting those feelings back.
"Last night we all were at the club celebrating Cheyenne being back, when she walked outside for fresh air. We all ended up following her outside. When we got out there her abusive ex was choking her. Jimmy beat the shit out of him, Cheyenne started to but I had to stop her." I exhaled.
"Ok I see, I will meet you there. Get all the guys." He hung up. So I called Zack and Johnny knowing they were together.
"Yo we gotta go to the hotel, Larry is meeting us there." I said
"Larry is showing up?" Johnny asked
"Yeah it got bad, Brian called me this morning. Told me Cheyenne was now having nightmares, she was screaming so loud she woke up Jimmy, we all know how hard it is to wake up Jimmy." I said grabbing my keys, and stepping out of the house.
"Holy shit. We will be there soon." Johnny said hanging up.
I climbed in my car, turning it on and backing out of the driveway. I thanked the lord that Valary was with Michelle so I didn't get bitched at. Getting on the highway, Never Gonna Be Alone by Nickelback came on. The song put me in deep thoughts. I was so deep in thoughts that I didn't realize I was at the hotel until Johnny hit my window. I turned off my car and got out.
"Were you just listening to Nickelback?" He asked grinning.
"Yeah I was, it was on the road and I didn't bother to change it." I said walking towards the entrance. Zack and Johnny were following me, I didn't have to ask for the room number because I was the one who booked the room.
When we arrived Brian opened the door, he looked upset. Jimmy was already on the couch.
"Where is she?" I asked
"She's in the bathroom." Brian said
"Ok, Larry should be here any moment. I sent him the floor and room number." I said sitting down on the couch. Everyone was silent, everyone was thinking.
There was a knock on the door and Brian went to get it, Larry and Brian came back
"Hey guys whats up?" Larry said
"Hey" murmurs came from all of us. Brian disappeared to the bed.
"Is it that bad?" he asked
"Yes its that bad Larry." I said looking at the floor.
Cheyenne and Brian came out of the room but Cheyenne's head was hanging low but you could defiantly see the marks.
"My god." Zack said from next to me.
Looking at the marks just pissed me off more and more.
"That motherfucker!" I said slamming my fist on the table.
"Matt remain calm" Larry said, I just glared at him.
"Larry!" Cheyenne said walking towards him. Did I forget to mention Cheyenne loved Larry to? Larry was like a father figure to her.
"Cheyenne my dear it's been forever!" he said opening his arms up for a hug. After their hug Cheyenne started pulling up her hair making the hand prints more visible.
"I know why you are here, let's get this show on the road." she said. Larry started snapping pictures of her neck and arms. Her eyes were on Brian the whole time, her eyes looked pained. Not one ounce of happiness.
Larry gave us the run down of what we had to do. When he handed out the paper and pencil Cheyenne went out the balcony.
"I swear I'm going to kill him." I said
"Yeah you and me both." Jimmy said.
Jimmy was never one to fight, he was an observer, hated getting into fights. I looked over at him, he was very pissed off. When everyone was done writing we handed them to Larry, I went out to the balcony. I looked over at Cheyenne, she was so focused and was writing fast. She had the most paper out of all of us, she had the most to tell.
"You know writing that fast and hard will give you a hand cramp." I said leaning against the rail looking out to the beach.
"Well I want to get this done." she said. We grew silent, it was something we shared. We never had to be talking. We liked the silence, like we loved the beach.
"Matt" she said
"Hmm?"
"Do you think this is going to work?" she asked
"What is going to work?" I asked
"The restraining order" she said
"Oh most defiantly. Everyone of us will know how far he should stay away from you. So he won't be able to do much." I said
"What about the nightmares?" she asked
"Well babes, I'm hoping they will go away. I think tour might help you with that. I said. I hated the fact that she was damaged enough to have nightmares.
"Damn I really hope these go away by tour. If not I don't know what to do about them." she said talking about her bruises.
"Well you're good with makeup, considering you hid the other bruises well, I think you can over them up, just wear t-shirts." I said looking at her, she looked so beautiful, hell she was beautiful. I couldn't believe someone would do that to her.
"You're right. I could do that. Or I could call his bitch ass self out on tour." she chuckled.
"Call who out?" Brian said emerging from the room.
"We were just talking about Cheyenne covering her bruises on tour, then she said she could just call him out on it." I said.
Seems like a good idea but I don't want the fans to get into her life like that." Brian said.
"You're right about that, I mean they would be jealous and say she is lying. I don't want fans to want to kill her either." I said looking back at the ocean.
"I'm done." Cheyenne said.
"I'll take them to Larry." I said grabbing the papers from her and going inside leaving those two outside. I handed them to Larry.
"Here are Cheyenne's." I said sitting down on the couch.
"This is fucked." Zack said.
"Yeah no shit." Johnny said.
"I'm about to leave to go back to the office to work on these." Larry said
"I'll grab the other two." Jimmy said getting up and going to the door stick his head out. When they came back inside they occupied the open chair. Larry stood up gathering his things.
"Thank you all for giving me a statement." Larry began.
"No problem" Everyone said.
"I do have enough evidence to keep him away, but who knows if he will actually do it. I'm glad the boys are taking you on tour. Just follow the rules and there won't be any problems. You'll probably work as a merch girl, but that's up to the guys. Just know if you need me for anything call me." Larry said looking at Cheyenne.
""Thank you Larry I appreciate it so much." she said
"No problem, you're apart of the family." he said, he put all his things in a brief case.
""I'll see you guys shortly, don't go crazy." He made his way to the door, Brian got up and walked with him. Cheyenne hung her head running her hands threw her hair. This was hitting her hard.
"Wanna go out tonight?" Johnny asked
"Not really, I think I'm going to stay in." she said looking at the carpet.
"Is there anything we can do?" I asked
"You guys already did enough, hell Matt you got me a room at a hotel with a amazing view. You guys came for me when Nathan was choking me. Hell you guys just came here today to write statements for me and because I had a nightmare. I don't think I could repay you." She said lifting up her head letting the tears run down her face.
"Cheyenne just coming back into our lives is your repayment. It's good to have a friend back." Zack said.
"Yeah Chey having you back is great. We finally have the old Brian back." Johnny said
"Why does everyone keep saying the old Brian? What happened after I left?" she questioned
"He was unhappy, he missed you so much. He thought it was his fault for your leaving. He hated himself. He got with Michelle and still wasn't happy." I said.
"Now that you're back, he is himself again." Jimmy said.
"What's the game plan?" Brian said coming back into the room. Cheyenne wiped my tears away.
"I'm going to stay in, you guys can do whatever. I would just like to lay in bed." she said quietly.
"What did you dinguses plan to do?" Brian asked.
"Probably go out, drink, see if we can get Johnny laid." Zack said
"Hmmmm that's a hard choice to choose from." Brian said
"Go with your gut." Jimmy said grinning.
"My gut is telling me to stay in the my girl." Brian said. I looked at him.
"You do you man" I said
"If you guys need a ride home call me." Brian said.
Cheyenne got up and went to the room, it hurt to see her like this.
"I'm going to go say goodbye to her." I said getting up walking to the room.
"Big brother here again." I chuckled and sat on the bed.
"I see that." she said very monotone looking at me.
"We were just heading out and I wanted to come say goodbye to you, and that I would see you soon." I said giving her a side hug. She laid her head on my shoulder. It felt like old times again.
"Thank you for being the best big brother ever." she said
"No problem, remember I'm here for you." I smiled
"I will remember. Go have fun." she smiled lightly. I got up and walked over to the door opening it.
"Give the rest my love and goodbye please!" I said
"I will dear, rest and try to think happy thoughts." I said walking out.
"Alright dick heads let's go." I grabbed my keys.
"Bye Brian! See you tomorrow!" Jimmy said before closing the door behind us.
Jimmy and I got into my car and headed toward Johnny's.
"I can't believe she actually screamed loud enough to wake you up." I said looking at the road.
"Yeah dude, I was scared shitless. I even tried to crack a joke and it didn't help like it usually does." Jimmy sighed
"She will get through it man, she has all of us standing by her." I said
"I know but I just want my Chey Chey back." Jimmy said
"I know Jimmy it hurts me to see her like this." I said
