I was having a good night sleep until my phone started ringing. You must be kidding me I thought. I picked my phone from the bedside table and brought it to my ear...

"Who are you and what do you want from my life?" I asked my voice still hoarse from sleeping.

"Well good morning to you too" a deep voice said from the other end of the line.

"Who is it?" I was now fully awake still in my bed starring at the ceiling.

"You forgot me already?" he said and then it hit me...Brian.

"Good morning Brian" I said, a smile forming on my lips. He didn't forget me.

"I thought you forgot me" he said with a chuckle.

"Never! You have the honor to be the first person I met in Huntington. You are blessed to never be forgotten" I said with a smile on my face. He chuckled again.

"I'm glad! How are you doing this fine morning?" he asked with a cheerful tone in his voice.

"I'm fine what about you?" I said and waited for his answer.

"I'm good but extremely bored" and it felt like his happiness was gone.

"I see..." I waited for him to go on...he sighed and continued.

"Do you mind if we meet earlier? We could take a walk first or something..." he said and his deep voice sounded in a pleading tone.

"Yes, of course no problem. What time is it now?" I said and looked at my clock on the wall 10:00am...Oh god...

"Oh god you woke me up from 10:00 am? You are a dead man when I see you" I said and chuckled.

«I was bored and couldn't sleep. I had to wake someone up and I chose you" he said defensively.

"It's ok... What time do you wanna meet?" I said while looking out of my window.

«I was thinking about...12:00 pm?" 2 hours I thought that will do.

"Yeap, fine with me" I said smiling although now that I think about it he couldn't see me.

"Perfect! Meet me at the beach...the same spot we met yesterday" he said and moke the word met...

"You mean the same spot you hit me with your ball but yes I remember" I said and laughed.

"It was an accident" he chuckled "Anyway I gotta go. See you later ok?"

"Ok. I'll see you later. Bye Brian" while slowly I was getting out of my bed.

"Bye Alicia" and with that he hang up. Well I guess I gotta get ready.

I got up from the bed and headed to the bathroom. I stood in front of the sink and took a look in the mirror. I started to examine my face. My face has changed...I didn't know how but it seemed different.

I felt a sigh escaping my lips, I brushed my teeth and then I got into the shower and left the hot water relaxing my muscles. After my long hot shower I felt ready for the day to come and I had a feeling that it was going to be a long day.

No that it bothers me I didn't want to stay in the house with nothing to do. I wanted to go out and have a good time, for once I wanted to be able to forget about everything including my past and have a nice time with someone and that someone today was going to be Brian.

He was a nice guy I liked him. He was fun to be around and pretty handsome I must say. His brown eyes could mesmerize anyone that look in them, his smile could make you smile the moment it appears and his spike hair gave him a bit of craziness that made him look adorable.

I got out of the shower, I stood in front of my giant closet examining all of my clothes in order to decide what I was going to wear. After a good 20 minutes I decided to wear a pair of black skinny jeans, a black tank top and on top of that a loose white shirt that reveals one shoulder and for shoes I picked my sandals.

I glanced at the clock 11:00am. Good I have time I thought so I got dressed put on a light make up, caught my hair into a messy ponytail and headed downstairs. I decided to eat a snack to keep me from starving. I took out a packet of Oreos and some milk. After I poured the milk in a glass I grabbed the packet with the Oreos and sat on my table.

I dived the biscuits into the milk and ate them like a five year old kid. After I finished eating my snack it was eleven thirty. I got up and put the empty glass in the sink. I grabbed my keys and cell phone. The moment I opened the door I was welcomed with a light warm breeze hitting me in my face making me smile to myself.

I hopped in my car turned the engine on and started driving to the beach. I parked my car and got out. I took a look around but there was no sign on Brian. I saw a bench near the sea and I decided to sit down and wait for Brian to arrive.

I felt the air coming from the sea and made me feel more alive. I took the sense of the salty air coming from the sea and let it fill my lungs. I closed my eyes and the only think I could hear was the waves that were crashing at the edge of the crystal blue sea that was glowing under the sun light.

Suddenly I felt a warm hand resting on my shoulder and I instantly jumped from the bench while a light scream escaped my mouth. I turned around only to come face to face with two glowing hypnotic brown eyes. Brian…

"You scared me" I said my hand resting on my chest while trying to catch my breath.

"Sorry I thought you heard me...You were really zoned out I called you a couple of times" he said stepping closer to me.

"It's ok...I'm just easy to get scared" I chuckled trying to light up the mood.

"Good to know" he laughed and placed his hands in his pockets.

"So where are we going?" I asked him. I was hoping we would go somewhere quiet. I didn't feel like been surrounded by a huge crowd of people.

"A place I know 5 minutes from here. It's quiet so we will have a chance to talk without being bother" he said and nodded his head to the direction where this place was.

"Sounds good" I nodded my head and smiled.

"Let's go" he said flashing a light smile and we started walking towards the restaurant.

We were walking in the silence but it was comfortable, I was enjoying his company. I wanted to talk though but I didn't want to spoil the moment. Brian turned his head to look at me and he was ready to speak but he was cut off by a group of girls screaming and running towards us.

"Oh My God Synyster Gates?" a girl with red hair said. Synyster Gates what the…? I thought.

"Yeap that's me" Brian said with a smirk on his face.

"Can you give us an autograph? We are big fans!" a girl standing next to the red hair girl said with an anxious smile on her face.

"Yeah of course do you have pen?"Brian said and one of the girls handed him a pen. He signed the autographs. The girls thank him and they left. I just stood there confused as fuck. I raised an eyebrow and looked at him.

"Care to explain?" I said and he turned to look at me and smiled.

"Yeah once we sit down. We are here" he said and pointed to a cute little restaurant. He opened the door, we entered and sat down on a table by the window that had a view to the sea. We kept starring at each other, Brian with an amused look on his face and me confused as ever. Finally he broke in laughter.

"Okay I will tell you stop looking at me like that" he said after he stopped laughing. I smiled and nodded for him to continue.

"Me and my best friends have a band and we got really big the past two years that's why the girls came all screaming asking for an autograph" he said and I was shocked...how I have never seen him? I mean if they were famous I should have seen them somewhere.

"What's the name of the band?" I asked curious to learn more.

"Avenged Sevenfold" he said and I could hear and proud tone in his voice that made me smile.

"Interesting name" I slightly smiled "but what's with the whole Synyster Gates thing?" I asked him.

"Oh that...we have stage names mine is Synyster Gates" I nodded and he smiled.

"Awesome...I’m guessing you are the guitarist?" he smiled and nodded.

"Yeap. Lead guitarist! Have you heard us?" he asked and I shook my head.

"No, but I want to listen to your band. If you are so famous you must be good" I said in a matter of fact tone.

"Not to be cocky but we are" he said with a smirk growing on his face.

"So what was your job back home?" he asked curious to know.

"I was a photographer" I said remembering how much I loved the job I had back in England.

Brian was going to speak but he was cut off by the waitress that came to take our orders. We order our food, the waitress left and we were able to continue our talk.

"So photographer huh?" Brian said.

"Yeah...why don't I look like a photographer?" I said pretending to be offended but I gave up and chuckled.

"That's not what I meant. You actually look like a person that has interest in art" he smiled and took a zip from his drink that came a few minutes ago.

"I would like to see your work sometime. I'm sure it's gonna be good" I smiled in appreciation of what he had just said.

"Thank you Brian I really appreciate it" he chuckled.

"No problem" he sent me a smile and I nodded. Then his phone started ringing. He checked the caller ID and a sigh escaped his lips. He opened the phone and placed in on his ear"

"Hey babe" he said, I assumed it was Cynthia on the phone.

"I told you I was going to have lunch with a friend" his voice was sounding irritated.

"Oh give me a break" he groaned and waited for Cynthia to continue.

"Yes she is a girl. What does it matter it's not like I'm gonna cheat on you..." I could tell that he was getting angrier by the minute. She must have said something because his face fell and he raised his eyebrows like he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"You know what?.We'll talk when I get home. Bye" he said a closed the phone his gaze fell upon me.

"Sorry about that" he said in a low voice and I knew he was upset.

"Don't worry about that. I'm the one who needs to be sorry" my eyes locked at the table.

"Why? You didn't do anything at all" he said his voiced sounded confused. I looked at him and he was waiting for my answer.

"Because I got you into trouble with you girlfriend...I don't want be the reason for you to fight" I said and he shook his head.

"It's not your fault. She is always finding a reason to fight" he said frustrated and I nodded my head not able to say a word.

"Alicia don't think that this is your fault and in fact I came here to have a good time I don't want to speak about Cynthia and her jealousy" he said to me with a smile on his face.

"Let's talk about something else then" I smiled and took a zip from my drink.

After a while our food came and we continued the small talk while we were eating. I was having a really good time, I didn't remember the last time that I had fun. It was nice. We ate our food and Brian insisted on paying. He said it wasn't appropriate to let a lady to pay so I let him and as I said to him for the last time.

We left and he walked me back to my car. We shared a friendly hug and when I was about to leave he spoke.

"I was hoping if you like to meet a friend of mine tomorrow…" he said and raised his eyebrows.

"You’re sure he wouldn't mind?" I didn't want to be a burden.

"Jimmy? No he doesn't mind anything" he chuckled.

"Ok then send me his address so I can come" I said to him, a smile forming on my lips.

"I will come to get you so we can go together so send me your address" he smirked pointed at me. I laughed and nodded my head.

"I'll see you tomorrow then" I said and turned the engine on.

"See you tomorrow Alicia." he waved with a smile on his face.

I waved back and started driving. I turned on the radio and found a station with decent music. By decent I meant rock. I drove back home with light tunes of classic rock playing in the background. Once I got home I decided to open my new laptop and see if my sister was on Skype so I could talk to her.

I changed my clothes and made myself comfortable on my leather couch before I turned on the laptop. My sister was in so I called her. Let the talk begin I thought and smiled to myself…
