I felt weak I couldn't move even though I tried. Was I dead? No I couldn't be. Let's try one more time I thought. I tried to move my fingers and I succeeded, I felt someone squishing my hand and calling my name so I tried to open my eyes. There was a light but when I finally opened my eyes I came face to face with Lucy who instantly hugged me.

"Oh My God you're ok" she was still hugging me

"What happened?" I asked and she frowned

"You don't remember?" I shook my head

"It's all a mess in my head right now" I admitted

"Honey you went to find David all alone although I don't know why but Brian found you on time because David wanted to kill you and then he tried to shoot Brian but you got in front of him and took the bullet" she said and pointed to my shoulder

"I'm sorry" was all I could manage before I broke down crying. It all came back to me the call from David, Brian coming for my rescue...everything.

"It's ok sweetheart. I'm going to tell the guys that you woke up they all want to see you." I just nodded and she got out of the room.

"Pancake!" Jimmy yelled as soon as he opened the door

"Hey Jimmy" my voice was still weak

"Don't scare me like that again pancake me and my stallion ducks were really worried" he said and hugged me

"I'm sorry Jimmy it won't happen again" I hugged him back with my good hand

All the guys took their turns giving me a hug and wishing me to get well soon. They were all really worried, all except him. He stood in the corner of the room staring to the ground not saying a word. I kept staring at him waiting for him to look at me and say something.

"Hey guys I think I'm going to get some coffee anyone want to join?" Zacky said looking between me and Brian.

"I do" Johnny said when he got the message and soon all the guys did

"I'll come but I want you to buy me a duck" Jimmy said and I slightly chuckled

"Come I'll buy you a duck" Matt said and wrapped an arm around Lucy's shoulders before exiting the room

After all the guys left I was alone with Brian who still stood in the corner of the room. I wanted to talk but I didn't know what to say. I didn't know why he was acting like this.

"You shouldn't have done that" he said and broke the silence

"Do what?" I asked confused

"I should be the one in that bed not you Alicia he wanted to shoot me" he said and got closer to me

"I couldn't let you get hurt" the tears were coming back. He caressed my cheek not saying a word.

"I'm sorry Bri" I said and broke down again

"Don't cry baby girl" he brushed the hair out of my face

"Don't be mad at me" I pleaded through tears

"I'm not mad, I'm worried...When you passed out in my arms I thought I lost you and when we came here the doctors said that you had lost so much blood and stuff" he kept stroking my hair

"I'm really sorry Brian...I didn't mean for any of this to happen" I started sobbing.

The truth is that I was still scared after everything that happened. I was scared that he will come back and finished his job. I didn't know what happened to him and I didn't want to ask right now because I was afraid of the answer. I was afraid that he was still free and able to harm me.

Brian came and lay down to the hospital bed next to me holding me close to his chest while I kept sobbing. He kept stroking my hair and humming a song to soothe my crying. After a while I relax in his embrace and I felt tired.

"Don't leave Bri" I said and snuggle closer to him

"I'm not going anywhere sweetheart" he said in a shooting voice

My eyes started to close so I snuggle closer to him if that's even possible and rested my head to his chest as I left sleep consume me in his safe arms.

The next day I woke up but no one was with me...Brian must have left while I was asleep. I carefully came into a sitting position in bed. I was bored and I didn't like hospitals I wanted to leave this place. After a while Zacky and Matt came into the room.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Zacky asked and took a seat on the edge of the hospital bed

"Better than yesterday" I smiled

"The doctor said that you can go home today" Matt said

"Oh thank God. I hate hospitals" I exclaimed and they chuckled

"So I can go like right now?" I asked

"Lucy will drop by your house and bring you some clothes then you can leave" Matt explain to me

"So...can I ask you something?" I didn't want to but I had to know where David was

"Sure" Zacky said

"What happened to David...I mean after you know...»

"They took him back to England and to prison you don't have to worry about him anymore" Matt placed a hand on my shoulder and a sigh of relief escaped my lips

We chat for a little while waiting for Lucy to come with my clothes, I couldn't wait to get out of this damn place. Finally after a while Lucy came with my clothes and she helped me changed. I had to wear this awful cast for two weeks. While I was changing the rest of the guys came all except Brian.

"Where's Brian?" I asked when we were walking to the car

"He had staff to do" Jimmy said...yeah staff

I didn't let it affect me...I was finally free from David and I could live my life the way I wanted to. Well after I put this cast off. I sat in the back with Jimmy and Johnny while Lucy sat on the passenger seat and Matt was driving. Zacky came here with his own car so he would follow us to my place.

"It feels good to be home" I said once I step my foot into my house

"Are you tired?" Lucy asked and I shook my head

«I just wanna sit in the living room with you guys" all the guys smiled at me and nodded

And I did. We all sat in the living room and talk but after a while I started to feel tired and my eyes were closing. I heard the sound of the door opening and I straggle to keep my eyes opened. I felt someone sitting next to me but I didn't have the strength to look who it was.

"You know you haven't seen me in months and that's my hello?" No someone is joking it couldn't be.

"Lexi?" I turned my head and there she was my sister who had a smile on her face

“I missed you" I said after I put her in a bone crushing hug

“I missed you too" she whispered

"But how?" How did you know where I lived?" I asked once we broke our hug

"This Brian guy called me and told me everything that happened and I took the first plane and came here...actually he brought me here. He must really care about you" she said. I looked at her with wide eyes...Brian? That’s where he went? Oh my god

"Why didn't you tell me about David in the first place?" I didn't know what to say...

"I...I didn't want you to worry about...You've already been through a lot" I stared at my feet

"Alicia you are my sister you should have told me. I want to be here for you" she said and hugged me

"I'm sorry" I really didn't have more words to say

"It's ok...As long as you're fine “I nodded

"Aw aren't they cute" I heard Jimmy said and I saw all the guys looking at us in awe but one of them caught my eye. I stood up from the couch and I walked towards Brian wrapping my arms around his torso and burying my head into his chest

"Thank you" I mumbled into his chest

"You're welcome Lissa" he mumbled and kissed the top of my head

I smiled at him before I turned back and took my seat on the couch next to my sister. We all sat in the living room the guys drank a couple of beers. I rested my head to my sister’s lap and my foot to Brian’s. Lexi started stroking my hair something she always used to do when we were kids and before I know it I felt asleep with happy thoughts is my head.
