Best friends, again?

“All of us got super drunk, we all crashed in Tammy’s one bedroom apartment after we had to run from some crazy fans who broke into the guys hotel room. They chased us about 15 blocks until we finally lost them. It was one of the funniest nights I ever had. And well the rest is history” I tell them, laughing at the memory of us fangirling about Motionless in White for weeks even when the boys were long gone and we even exchanged numbers and everything. Today they are close friends of both Tammy and me and I did a couple of tours with them already.
“So you have finally met Motionless in white?” Brian asks me chuckling most probably remembering all the times I have fangirled over them when they came on the radio
“Oh she did not only meet them, they liked her pictures of that shooting so much that they actually hired her for their next tour. I am still mad I couldn’t go on tour with them” Tammy butts in laughing.
“So you still do tour shoots?” Johnny asks and I nod
“yeah occasionally and as much as I like hanging with awesome people I prefer having shoots here in New York but somehow I always end up on tours anyway” I laugh to be honest I don’t mind touring that much but I do love staying in New York.
“But I think my favorite tour was Varped tour this year where I was hired as Adam Elmakias assistant. I learned such a lot from him, he is really inspiring.” I smile at them.
Soon after the boys have to leave and we say a reluctant goodbye, not really wanting this time to end and we part with promises of calls and texts. I say goodnight to Tammy and fall asleep quickly as my alarm will wake me up again in 4 hours to board a plane.

Tiredly I walk through the Airport once again dragging a suitcase behind me. It is 7am – way too early for my liking but oh well I guess I can sleep on the plane. I walk up to the check in, do all the paper work and once my suitcase is safely in the hands of the airline I walk into Starbucks and get myself some of their Brownies and a Trenta pumpkin Spice Soy Milk Latte as my Breakfast and wait for my flight to be called.
As soon as the airplane loses touch with the ground my eyes fall shut and won’t open up for the entire eight hours of the flight. I feel more awake when I get off the plane in London and hurry through the luggage things and all the security and checks and everything until I am finally outside where I am greeted by a driver holding up a sign with my name on it.
We pile into the car and he drives me the three hours through England to Sheffield where I am supposed to meet the bands. I look around during the drive and take in the beauty of England. This is only my fourth time in this country and I am still amazed by its beauty. As I am about to nod off again my phone vibrated in my pocket
Hey J You got there safe and sound? I am pleasantly surprised by the addressor of the text and a soft smile is forming on my face
Hey Brian. Yeah the flight was long and boring but I am in England now and I am on my way to meet the boys
Cool J So Bullet again?
Yeah, Bullet and Bring me the Horizon. I am super exited, I really like their music and they seem to be really cool guys
Okay have fun and be careful

Once I don’t get a reply to that text I actually do nod off and only wake once the car stops moving.
I get out of the car and walk up to the Guys of Bullet of my Valentine and greet all of them with a hug
“It’s great to see you guys again” I smile at them and we share a couple of hello’s how are you’s and it has been to long’s until they continue to load their stuff into the bus and Matt walks up to me
“So you exited?” I smile at him and nod
“Yeah it is going to be amazing I mean it has been two years since we really hung out for more than a couple of hours when you hit New York on a show. I kind of missed it” I kindly smile at him and earn a big smile as an answer
“Yeah it really has been. So have you met the guys from Bring Me yet?” I shake my head
“No! I am really exited for them though their new album was so, so good” I smile as I see a car pull up and Matt nudges me with his elbow
“Looks like you are lucky now” he smiles and walks me over to the 5 guys piling out of the car. He greets each of this with this weird man handshake – half- hug way before he turns to me
“Guys I want to introduce you to Lily, she is the photographer I told you guys about” I wave at them
“Hey” sending them a smile, trying to seem normal and relaxed and not like I want to throw myself around their necks for making such amazing music.
“Hey. I am Oli, this is Matt, Matt, Jordan and Lee” I am having too many Matt’s in my life, honestly.
“It is nice to meet you guys” I smile and they all grin back at me
“Hey, did you do that shoot with Of Mice and Men in the AP Mag a couple of issues ago?” Lee asks me and I smile ate him
“Yeah I did. That one was really fun. We shoot it in a pool and Austin and Aaron got into a water fight and got everyone drenched but I think the pictures turned out great”
“Yeah they did, I really liked that shoot” Lee smiles at me.
“Wait was that the shoot that Austin told us about last week?” Oli asks Lee and he again nods in response
“Austin said that that was one of the most fun shoots he had in a while. He was really enthusiastic about your work” he tells me and I can’t help but smile back.
“They are easy to work with. Most credit goes to them to be honest” I say modestly and Matt T. rolls his eyes
“She is just modest guys. I worked with her before and she is amazing honestly.” I shake my head but chose not to reply to that – I don’t want to seem like I am fishing for compliments but I always felt that the way the people in front of the camera are is a huge part of the work. It is hard to make a great picture with someone that is uncomfortable or tense in front of the camera. But then again I guess that’s what makes a good photographer.
We pile all our stuff into the bunk and I meet the rest of the crew. Once the bunks are dealt out and we are settled into the bus, the driver takes off and we settle into the living room area, watch a Movie and get to know each other before they play their first show tomorrow.
