When a new serial killer starts scaring various cities, the BAU is called to investigate on the murders. At first, the murders didn’t seem to be related, but the Unit notices how the modus operandi connect them and when the Unsub decides to play with the FBI, they also notice how a band from California seems to be connected to the murders. But are Avenged Sevenfold really connected to the serial killer? Are they the authors of the killings or just scapegoats? And who’s the next victim?

Note: Some things from the show have been changed for this story. For example, despite the story being set around season five/six, JJ is already a profiler and dated Will for a brief time so their son Henry doesn’t exist in this verse and Garcia is the current media liaison officer.

The story contains strong language, violence and gore.
