My Brothers Bestfriend

"You ready to go?" My dad asked. We where going to Walmart to pick up some groceries.
"yea I just gotta finish my eyeliner aaannndddd I'm done"
he chuckled and grabbed the keys.
he kept looking at his phone. He was acting a little weird today.
"what's wrong dad?" I asked
"nothing, nothing why?"
"you keep looking at your phone and you seem like you can't sit still"
"oh no hun I'm fine" he gave me a crooked smile and looked back at the road.
i knew something was up. I just couldn't put my finger on it.


We headed down isle 7, where the sodas and other refreshments are, "do you want anything?" I quickly picked up a Mountain Dew and shot him a evilish smile.
After we walked all over hell and back in that store, we finally went to check out.
"Your total is 123.76 sir" the cashier said and smiled at my dad. She was really pretty. She had long blonde hair and looked like she was in her middle or late 20's. Dad paid in cash and waited for his change and finally we where out of there.
The ride back home was quiet, which was usual cause usually my dad would put the radio on. He kept glancing at his phone every couple minutes and I was getting worried.
Finally we pulled into our driveway, "remember to watch the ice on the steps" he gave me a small smirk, remembering the little tumble I had a few days ago
"yea yea fuck off" I said with a chuckle.
We grabbed the groceries and set them on the counter, "hey I'm gonna go put some sweatpants on" I said to my dad who was opening the fridge, "okay but don't take long".
I opened my door and instantly knew something was wrong. My little Christmas lights I have hanging around the ceiling in my room where no longer on.
I stepped into my room quietly and went over to my dresser, the hallway light was enough light for me to see.
Suddenly a hand cupped my mouth and I was being held by someone with their other arm around my waist.
I tried to kick. I tried to scream. But what could a 17 year old do that's only 140 pounds and 5'5?
Whoever had me let go and started laughing uncontrollably, I know that laugh. I'd know that laugh anywhere.
I spun around to see my brother Jimmy standing there dying of laughter
"Jimmy you fucking piece of shit!" I said laugjing and giving him a big hug
"how ya doin short shit?" He said inbetween his laughs
"Good now that you're home. Holy shit I haven't seen you in forever!"
We had our little meet and greet and we headed downstairs.
"Well dad I know why you where being weird all day" I said with a chuckle
Jimmy ran over to dad and hugged him "how ya doin you old sack of shit?" He laughed
"Oh fine now that my little shithead of a son is finally back home" they both laughed and carried on for a few minutes.


"where's your friend at?" Dad asked
"Oh he's unpacking he should be down in a..."
he didn't even get to finish his sentance before some guy I have never seen before walked in.
"So Riley, pops, this is my friend Brian".
