“Uncle Matt!”

“Hey Kiddo,” my uncle grinned as his arms instantly wrapped around me. I scowled. I really hated that nickname! He laughed and squeezed me tightly before letting go.

He then seized Caoilinn into a hug before quickly letting her go.

“You know, you two shouldn’t go around picking fights with strangers. God knows what he would’ve done if I hadn’t shown up in time,” his face fell as he gazed down on the two of us. I internally flinched. Much like Daddy, I hated upsetting him.

“Don’t look at me, I wasn’t the one itching for a fight,” Caoilinn smiled sweetly, eyes alight with mischief.

Uncle Matt quirked an eyebrow at her, disbelief written clearly in his eyes. “Is that so?”

“Yes! That punk-ass pussy was itching to sink his fist into someone,” she continued to smile. “I don’t think that bimbo would’ve been enough anyway.”

Was I hearing correctly. Fuck me. What the hell had gotten into Caoilinn today? I gawked at her in disbelief. My eyes quickly shot up to Uncle Matt’s face. Was he hearing this too? Shit, Caoilinn would get us into trouble. Damnit!

I was just about to open my mouth to tell Caoilinn to shut-up when Uncle Matt roared with laughter. I hadn’t seen him laugh this hard since… well since that summer Zack almost got his dick waxed by a dude. That had been one hell of a summer vacation.

“Jesus Kay, don’t let Gates hear you talking like that,” Uncle Matt bellowed seconds later, clearly amused. But why? Why would my father care about what came out of Caoilinn’s mouth? I narrowed my eyes at that statement. I was his daughter, not Caoilinn.

“Why would he care?” Caoilinn echoed my own thoughts.

“No daughter of his should talk like that,” Uncle Matt chuckled once more. Oh. So, Daddy viewed Caoilinn as a daughter?

Caoilinn didn’t say anything and merely shrugged. Was it just me or did she look disappointed? I looked closer at her. Nope, just me. Whatever expression I had seen had quickly past. She was still grinning.

“What are you two girls doing here anyway?” Uncle Matt inquired.

“Um, Kay wanted to go out and she heard about tonight, so she asked Daddy if we could tag along.” I shrugged, thinking nothing of it. It was perfectly normal, wasn’t it? After all, I was the infamous daughter of Synyster fucking Gates.

Uncle Matt chuckled quietly. He was about to open his mouth to say something but a gasp and a slight shriek stopped him from it. Taken aback, I turned to the source of the noise and laughed. Standing before us was a small red head with and Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt. She stood there, her eyes wide with excitement and mouth ajar, gaping at Uncle Matt.

“Holyfuckholyfuckholyfuck!” She started hyperventilating, waving her hands up and down. Fangirls. Uncle Matt turned on his M. Shadows charm, his dimples reappearing.

“Hey, what can I do for you?” Uncle Matt – no M. Shadows – asked politely. He was always nice to fans, even if some were overly touchy and gross.

I turned away from the girl, not interested in what she had to say. I had other things on my mind – like finding my father. I gently nudged Caoilinn, signaling to the bar with my eyes. We would come back later.

Silently, Caoilinn and I slipped away from Uncle Matt – no M. Shadows – and the fan and scurried away to the bar.

“What do you want babe?” Caoilinn asked me two seconds later.

“Uh, just get me the usual?” I shrugged, really not into the idea of drinking when my father was skulking around here – somewhere.

Caoilinn nodded and then leaned over the bar, pressing her chest up. Soon a bartender caught sight of her. He smiled lazily and walked up to her. Caoilinn ordered our drinks, clearly flirting as she twirled a strand of hair around her finger. She leaned further against the counter so that the bartender had an undisrupted view of her cleavage. He licked his lips, eyes never leaving her tits. With a quick nod of his head, he disappeared only to reappear five minutes later with our drinks.

Caoilinn whispered something to him, laughed and then swiveled around. With a grin that would make the Cheshire Cat jealous and eyes alight with mischief, she handed me my Jack and Coke. I raised an eyebrow at her questioningly. I didn’t see her pay for these.

“Oh don’t look at me like that,” she giggled, blushing slightly. “It's on the house.”

My eyebrows shot up into my hairline. “What? How the hell did you manage that?”
She winked and suddenly I knew.

“Oh God Kay! I can’t take you anywhere, can I?” I scrunched up my face in mock-disgust, only to start giggling when she wiggled her eyebrows.

“Please, you enjoy these free drinks.”

I was about to reply when a strong pair of arms wrapped themselves around my waist. Suddenly, I was pressed up against someone. The smell of cigarette and, was that musk filled my senses. A pair of lips found their way to my ear, nibbling softly on my lobe; warm breath tickled my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I tried to suppress a moan. I shook my head slightly, trying to control thid raging fire within me.

“Why don’t we find out if a pretty girl like you has a pretty cunt to match?”

He spoke, low and husky. Like lightening I twirled around in his arms and froze.

Fuck.
