Once everyone had calmed down The group sat back around their table and began drinking again. When Danie remembered what Sloane was talking about. “Dude what date did you pick? Psycho hose beast kinda interrupted rather rudely by yanking my hair out.” Sloane smiled at Zacky.

“October 30th. Hallows Eve.” Everyone smiled.

“Dude that’s awesome and like three weeks away.” Danie said and Matt nodded before kissing her cheek.

“That’s why we decided to hire the best party planner ever!” Sloane said with a smile. Danie felt herself smiling widely. “You up for the challenge?” She said with a raised brow. Danie was always the one everyone went to for a party, because she knew what to do. Weddings she had never done but figured she could do it. Her friends were drinkers and partiers, so it would be a piece of cake.

“Fuck yes!” She yelled. Everyone shouted and Johnny, the owner from the bar, ame by with a bottle of Jack and a few more beers.

“So what are we celebrating?” He asked as he set the beer and JD down.

“Zack and Sloane finally set a date!” Jimmy shouted waving his arms around like a lunatic. Johnny just laughed and didn’t even ask who the drinks were on. He knew that the first one to pass out had to pay. The group filled the shot glasses and cheered as a group and downed the shots. Danie and Sloane chased theirs with their Bud Lights. The group began to talk and Jimmy picked on Johnny a little bit. Sloane and Zack were talking to each other about who knows what. They just kept smiling and Zack would occasionally give her a few sweet kisses and press his forehead to hers. Danie would smile when she saw the small gestures. She felt eyes on her and turned her head a little bit and noticed Matt watching her with a smile on his face as he talked to Matt and Jason Berry. The other two turned and looked at what he was smiling about and then they high fived him. She shook her head and then turned and talked to Brian.

“So you and Matt huh?” He asked and Danie shook her head.

“I have no idea what is going on actually.”

“It took you guys fucking long enough.” He exclaimed and Danie shook her head laughing. The whole group was gathered at the table again and soon the bottle of Jack is gone. Johnny was passed out and Brian was shoving a shot of Jaeger at Matt Berry. The group started laughing.

“Guys!” Danie exclaimed and everyone looked at her. “Drinks on Johnny!” She pointed to the sleeping gnome and the group shouted in excitement. Matt Berry finally took the shot and Brian fell off the table his feet landing on Danie’s lap. She pushed him off and a loud thump could be heard.

“Dammit! My knee!” Brian shouted. Danie just laughed and smiled.

“Aww did Gatesypoo get a boo boo?” She asked and he threw a napkin at her. She rolled her eyes at him and he pouted at her.

“Put the lip away Gates, Danie is mine.” Matt said and the whole group stopped and looked at them.

“Fifty bucks says she says no.” Jimmy whisper yelled at Zacky. Zacky shook his hand already knowing he was going to win.

“Matt is right.” Danie said and Zacky held out his hand to Jimmy. Jimmy pulled out his wallet and paid Zacky. The group sat there for a bit longer waiting for their cabs. Danie walked up to the bar. “Can I get a pitcher of ice water?” She asked and Mary, the bartender, nodded.

“Wake his ass up or me. The cops come in I am fucked.” Danie smiled and wiggled her eyebrows. She walked back to the table with the pitcher and a smile. The group sat there watching with shock on their faces. She walked right to where Johnny was and dumped the full pitcher on the short man. He screamed and jumped up.

“Fuckers!”

“AHHH!” Danie shouted and he looked over. “It’s night of the living garden gnome!” The group laughed and smiled. “Best part Gnomeo?”

“What?” He asked looked at his friends.

“Tell him what he has won Mr. Sanders!” She announced as if she were a game show announcer. Sloane couldn’t stop laughing. Her face was as red as a tomato.

“You have won a bar tab totalling five hundred dollars and ninety five cents! Please don’t forget to tip the bartender at least three hundred! Since you did pass the fuck out!” By now everyone still in the bar was laughing. The town was used to their shenanigans.

“Fuck you guys.” She said quietly and stumbled to the bar where he went to pay the tab. Mary shook her head.

“You always lose. Maybe you should start drinking water between the rounds.” She said and he nodded. He walked back and went ahead and paid and then walked back to the table.

“Assholes.” He says and grabbed his leather jacket and the group followed him out.

“I’m hungry!” Brian whined and Danie rolled her eyes.

“You’re always fucking hungry.” Sloane mumbled under her breath and everyone laughed. “I wanna go to fucking bed.” She said and jumped on Zacky’s back.

“Your wish is my command.” He replied and the group walked a few blocks further where they all separated and went their separate ways. Danie and Matt walked hand in hand to Danie’s house.

“I’ll take you home in the morning.” She said as she opened the door and threw her bag on the couch.
