Ella’s POV

“Come on, babe… You know everyone around, even if you haven’t been there for a while, not much changed. And don’t forget I’m the boss, if someone just looks at you wrong, let me know” Jake buried his face in my neck and I sighed.

“I know… It’s still weird. They all know I’m just there because I’m sleeping with the boss” I chuckled at saying that and Jake pulled back looking into my face smiling.
“Oh yes you do… we will be able to spend more time together, it’s gonna be good, don’t worry” He shot me another of his smiles and I leaned my head back against the pillow.

“Arent you planned in on some personal trainings starting next week? Even if I am in the studio, you gonna be away, anyway…” I said and felt bad, I was whiny because I didn’t have such a great job as Jake had that he loved doing.

He was good at what he did, popular even and I had nothing, I was happy for him, no question, but I was being a jealous too. I wanted to have something stable, but I didn’t want to have it just because he was my boyfriend. It wasn’t his fault, he was being amazing, even considering getting me in on his studio, but it was still with a bitter taste for me.

Maybe I was really overreacting, but… I knew everyone would think I wasn’t good, and just there because of him.
That’s why I refused to be officially hired, I wanted to work in my job, at a company that took me in for my work, not for the friends I had.

“Babe, I wouldn’t let you work there if I didn’t know you are good. We all know how good you are, and that you happen to be my girl, that’s just the icing on the cake!” Jake grinned and moved beside me, his head held by one of his hands, looking at me from the side.

I sighed hiding my face behind my hands, he knew why I was so anxious about being there, knew I was afraid what the other people would be thinking if we showed up together.

“Come on, let’s go. I got the early shift, we gotta be there by six… I will show you around and then I can show you your office. You could also work from our home, but I would recommend that after you know everything and all the people again.” Jake got up and my eyes were fixed on his back, the muscles, tanned skin, his firm behind.

I could stare at him forever, I wouldn’t get tired of it, not ever. But when he pulled boxers and a shirt on, and the perfect view was taken from me, I shook my head a little, trying to get to other thoughts.

“I’m in the shower, you wanna join me?” Jake lifted his eyesbrows, smiling and I had to grin “That way we won’t be on time for work” I shot back and he held his arms open and I went into them willingly.

We were indeed a little late for the shift at the studio, but since Jake was the boss and his partner wasn’t around, no one was really there to tell him off. And he was working so many hours, being late home almost all the time, or being away over the weekend while doing a personal training, which outweighed the being late… once.

“Let me bring my stuff to the office, then I’ll show you around and do the proper introduction” He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving me alone in the entrance way.
I looked around, it was still 6.30 so we weren’t that late, really, but way too early to be at work for my taste…

“Alright, come on…” Jake appeared at my side already and had a top and really tiny pants in his hands making me lift my eyebrow in question.
“What is that?” I motioned towards it and Jake looked uncomfortable, “I did tell you, that you had to wear our outfit here, didn’t I?” He took a step back from me chuckling lightly and I rolled my eyes “No, please…” I didn’t want to wear that, I mean… look at all those people around here, all trained and looking perfect, while I was just, well average…

“It’s just for the times you are in here, really… when you work outside just the top will do, and if you are at home, you can wear whatever you want, or nothing at all, all fine with me” He bit his lower lip and I took the clothes from him sighing, knowing I wouldn’t stand a chance anyway.

“Hey Jake, you got the new employee with ya?!” A voice from behind us called and I looked around Jake seeing Eric standing there “Hey Eric… don’t get too hopeful, I won’t be sticking around for too long” I grinned and he walked over hugging me. “What a shame… You used to be cooler, you know, hanging out with us in the past” He set me back down and the guys went right away over to talking about the schedules for today, while I went to one of the dressig rooms and tried to fit my figure into the tiny shorts and top.

When I walked out Jake took me on the introduction round, after I had seen everything again and met everyone from the early shift, I realized he was right, not much has changed. I even used to work out here for quiet a while, before my working life got too busy.

“Alright, that’s it for now, let’s go to the office and I show you what Derek thought be a good project for you to work on” Jake guided me towards a door which let to the office part of the building, two door to the left and there was a desk prepared with paperwork on it for me, shit… I don’t think I really thought this through… maybe I should have taken some time off, before throwing myself into this right away?!

Jake gave me the main instructions, but told me to call Derek for the details, he was the managing director while Jake was the one on the active side in the studio, perfectly devided for them to work out.

“Okay, see you for lunch, babe” Jake kissed my cheek again when a thought struck me “Hey, you haven’t told me yet if we are able to go to the concert? The tickets from Liz, remember?” I asked and Jake frowned “Ah right.. I haven’t checked the schedule, will do that in a bit, and let you know this evening, so you can tell Liz, alright?” He moved towards the door and I nodded.

“Alright” I smiled and then he left and I started to sort through all the documents and papers on the desk, this would be a long first day as it seemed.
Jake’s POV

I knew why Ella wasn’t too thrilled to be working at my studio. But I was glad having her around, not only because I knew, she would get this work done in absolutely no time, I just liked having her around.

We were together now for 6 years and I knew we both have been hell of a lot busy lately, but now when she was here around me, we would be able to at least spend our break together.

I could walk over, she was just a few feet away, I knew she would be working on her papers as soon as she got home tonight, trying to find another job, but for as long as this was going to work out, this was fine with me.

I liked having her around, knowing she was close by, and me being able to see her whenever I wanted even in busy times, when sometimes we wouldn’t be able to see us all week. Notmally with her being on business trips and me being booked in a whole different city, maybe even state, the job was demanding things of us that weren’t right, and now I knew I could slowly put a break on things, the job was running great, we made a name out of this, a brand even, I made a name for myself, so if I slowly went a notch back that wouldn’t be too bad.

I was afaid through all the work and busy schedules we were forgetting about us, not that I had the feeling now, but I was afaird something like that could weasel its way into our routine.

I enjoyed this morning waking up next to Ella, being able to cuddle up to her, shower together, make love and then head into work with her by my side.

“Jake, you even listening to me?” Ashley asked and I lifted my head, I had been staring at the schedule for quiet a while now. “Yeah… well… No” I grinned at her “What was it again?” I asked and she chuckled “We have two guys in room 2, I told them you would be coming, but since you were busy with your woman, I had Eric do the instruction, maybe you can check on them later”

“Ah yeah.. sure, no problem” I put the schedule away and checked my mails, next week will be a killer. I was from Monday to Sunday up and away, shit… even with Ella working here now, I wouldn’t be able to see her next week at all.

“Did you have to pack up my week so fully? I’m not home once, Ash” I complaint and she shrugged “They all asked especially for you… and it’s all close by, even though it’s far from here. I’m sorry, but the week after you got three off days planned, sound good?” She grinned and I sighed, well… Didn’t have much choice anyway.

“Fine” I nodded and printed the plan out, I had to prepare individual trainings for each of the customer, had to check the weather plan, so I knew if I had to find something indoor or if could work outdoor, check terrioties and the shape the customers were in, all the preparation would eat up at least two complete days of office work.

I walked over to my desk checking a few routines I could use and felt myself be drawn to the back-office. I really wanted to check on Ella, but tried to stay away from the temptation, it was her first day here and I really couldn’t already start distracting both of us this way.

I looked at the schedule for the weekend, hadn’t she asked me about this concert she wanted to go to with Liz? Shit, when had that been again Friday or Saturday? I put a note on my schedule to talk to Ash about it, to make sure I might get at least the evening off if nothing special was planned in there.

I got back up and did one of my walks around the entire club, helping out where I was needed and entertaining the people a little. After working here for quiet a while, I knew all customers and could quickly get a vibe if they wanted to have small talk while working out or needed some help while excercising or if they rather be alone by themselves.

I planned to check on the two new guys, but only discovered one of them while I made my round. He seemed trained, and knew what he was doing, I headed from different equipments and people towards him and approached slowly, he had headphones on, so I tapped his shoulder.

“Hey man, I’m Jake, my co- worker told me, you are new. Just wanted to check if you need anything, or have trouble with anything, maybe questions?” I asked holding my hand out. The guy was about my height, and pulled the headphones out, loud rock music blarred from the earplugs and I smiled.

He clapped my hand with a smile and nodded “Thanks man, I’m Matt. I’m doing fine, not my first time in a studio, and after the introduction it’s all good for me. If I got questions I’m just gonna hit someone up. Great studio, you got here, lots of equipment… seems very popular” He said and I nodded, “Yeah, we doing our best to make our customers happy” I grinned and he chuckled lightly “Guess so, and thanks for the offer, but I’m good” Matt replied and I nodded so he was apparently one of the guys who didn’t need much talk, fine with me.

“Okay, then have a good workout, maybe we see you around more often” I said while turning away and my eyes moved back to the office door, dang it, this door was really tempting, knowing what was waiting for me behind it, but only a few more hours till work break, I could at least make it till then, or I would never hear the end of it from my employees / friends.
Matt’s POV
I watched the personal trainer walk away, he had just checked in on me, like his co-worker earlier said he would
He didn’t seem familiar, so I haven’t seen him around here in my days back. He seemed like a nice guy, had introduced himself and just asked if I needed help with anything, but I wasn’t in for small talk.

While I was trainging it was normal for me that I wasn’t much into talking, he seemed to get the hint and vanished quickly after. He walked back to the front and I thought for a moment if he was the guy that had been in the office with the fresh employee as his co-worker had hinted about, but I didn’t listen too closely to the names and not that it was any of my business anyway.

I was sweating pretty heavily, then took a drink from my bottle; I nearly drained it all and looked beside me. It felt like Brian had been gone for quiet a while, and I could already guess where he had left off to. Must be sweating too my friend, but from a different reason. I walked over to the mattress lying before a mirror wall and lay down. I placed my almost empty bottle beside me and got ready to do some sit ups.

I leaned down, and got up, down and back up, counting in my head, when I moved up my eyes were directed at one of the door, I went back down, when I was back up, I saw the door open, and a female figue walking out, I went down to just move up again and stayed up as long as my muscles allowed me.

The woman was with her back to me, her hair in curls falling down her back, she wore the same outfit as the woman from the reception did. I went back down to get back up as quickly as I could, watching her.

She held a stack of papers in her hand and looked around, I went back down to get back up, she turned towards my directions, and I stayed, up leaning my elbows down so I was able to watch her.

She took a few steps towards my area and I could make out her features, she had long brown hair with curls, her eyes were dark and looking confused, she had full lips, making me want to try them out and see how soft they were just from the first moment I had seen her.

My eyes went down to her elegant throat and collarbone, in the small top she was wearing her cleaveage was on display, making me lick my lips, she had some curves, my eyes went further down to her firm legs and a smirk spread over my face.

If I found the blonde receptionist Gates had vanished with hot, this little number was beyond hot. I mean look at her, she was stunning, and not the fake blonde made up kinda way, she was a natural beauty.

Maybe this was my lucky day… I pushed myself up and walked closer to her, people were walking past her, almost shoving her out of the way, the studio got more and more croweded the later it got.

She sidestepped someone else, when a door behind her opened and another employee walked out, not caring apparently that he was sending the girl as well as the documents she had been holding flying and the paper spraying all over the floor.

“God damn it!” I heard her curse and had to chuckle, I moved closer to her and started to help her picking up the papers, while other people just walked all over the documents and between us, not bothering to help.

We crouched down in front of each other, and I didn’t know if she hadn’t seen me before or didn’t expect someone to help, she flinched seeing me close to her, while I was offering papers to her. She almost threw the documents she held in her hands fyling again, holding a hand to her heart in shock, making me even more aware of her small top and quick breathing.

“Oh god.. you scared me.” She breathed out heavily and then looked at me again “Thank you…” She gave me a small smile and I handed her the documents, and then got up holding my hand out to help her up as well, after a moment of hesitation she put her hand in mine. She had small hands, and they were extremely soft, weird how I noticed that right away, and not wanting to let go.

“Sorry, this is kinda me… I happen to gravitate mess ups and let things fly” She joked and I had to return the smile “Good, I was standing close then… I happen to catch things and clean up messes if needs be” I shot back and her cheeks heated up cutely.

“Well, I have to get back to work, need to do some copies…Thank you again for helping me” Her eyes wandered up and down my body then she smiled and turned away, giving me a view of her backside making me want to bite my knuckles, damn she was hot.

Maybe Brian was right and we should be coming here more often, if I would be seeing her again, shit I didn’t even have her name.. I turned back to where she had been standing only to see the spot empty.

People passing me and I rounded the corner trying to find her again, but didn’t find any sign of her. Damn it… Maybe this just wasn’t meant to be, or maybe I should just wait and see if she would be coming back soon.

I walked back to the mattress when my phone started to go off. I pulled it out and looked at the caller “What’s up Jason?” I asked after picking up.
“Where are you and Gates?” He asked and sounded annoyed “Working out, why?” I asked and while speaking to him, I returned to do sit ups.

“Fuck, we are meant to leave for the venue and instructions for sound check. We are waiting for you guys, get your asses over here” He snapped and I frowned, how long had Brian and I been here?
I held the phone away, checking the time “Fuck, its 11 already? I didn’t realize, will grab Gates and we will be there in 10” I didn’t add the ‘If Gates has finsihed’ part, but thought it.

Maybe I was a little jealous he did get more action than I did, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t come back here and meet the paper girl again. A grin spread over my face and I pushed myself up again. I heard a click in the line and knew Jason hung up on me.

I walked up towards the reception, finding the blonde babe standing there, her hair was a little out of place, her lipstick from earlier gone and I lifted an eyebrow “Hey, where you left my friend?!” I leaned on the desk and she chuckled lightly, “He’ll be out shortly” She motioned with her head to a private door and I rolled my eyes, really?

I walked over and knocked loudly “Yo Brian, pull your pants up, we gotta move… Berry called, they are waiting for us” I said towards the closed door, which opened shortly after.
“I’m here, all good…” He let his hands run through his hair and winked towards the woman at the reception before we headed outside and I looked from the side at him “What you did doesn’t count as work out, you know that, right?” I asked and he just chuckled.

“Green doesn’t suit you, Shads…” With that we climbed in the car and headed back to the hotel, where the rest of the crew was already waiting.
