You Will Always Be My Heart

Johnny's POV:

I'll never forget getting the call. Matt was on the other end of the line. My brain just couldn't comprehend what he was telling me.

It couldn't be. I had just spoken to him a few days ago. He had finally decided to get LASIK.

We all knew how much he'd spent on glasses through out the years. It was hard for him to play drums with them. So it was about time he had the surgery.

I knew Matt would never joke about something like this. That didn't mean I wasn't going it was a sick prank anyways.

Jumping into my car I race to Jimmy's house. It just can't be. He's going to be there laughing his ass off at my expense.

The guys are all there. Matt grabs me before I can get up to the police tape. I try to fight my way out of his arms.

Tears rush from my eyes. My heart shatters. There's no warning before I'm off to the side puking my guts up.

A few hours later all of us had recovered from the shock. All of us know that we have to tell the fans. We came up with a message for them.

"It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time. Jimmy you are forever in our hearts. We love you. M Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance and Johnny Christ"
