Allie's POV:
"I'm Evey." The woman says introducing herself.
"Let's get one thing straight right off the bat. That way there's not any chance of misunderstandings. I already know you're the mate of the High Alpha Zachary Baker.
Of course my actual target is your mate that doesn't mean harm won't come to you if you decide to try and escape. It's not ideal but I'll hurt you or even kill you if I have to. Now with that being said you're free to roam around the house so long as you behave and don't try to leave.
Just so you know there are security cameras all over the house and outside. If you try anything funny I'll just dose you again with this." She holds up the syringe.
"It's wolfsbane. No harm will come to you if it's given in the right dose. However too much will kill you.
Do you understand?" I nod my head showing her I understand what she's just said to me.
My stomach chooses that moment to grumble it's emptiness. Evey turns back around.
"There's plenty of food in the fridge and I'm the kitchen cabinets. Feel free to help yourself to whatever you want." I'm a little surprised by this.
She's holding me captive yet sure trying to accommodate me. I'm just going to keep my mouth shut. Hell I'm not going to look a gift house in the mouth.
She turns back around. Her feet take her to the door of the room. She pauses for a moment obviously waiting for something.
"Well are you coming?" She calls over her shoulder.
Getting up off the couch I follow her. She leads me into a room. The door knob turns. She opens the door revealing a bedroom with a bright red wall.
The red of the wall is a bit eye jerking. It takes me a minute to get used to it. Evey informs me this will be the room I'm staying in.
She motions to a door exposing that the bathroom is on the other side. Evey takes me from the room. Down a little hallway and a left turn later we're in the kitchen.
It's just as I'd thought out would be after having seen the rest of the house. The kitchen is modern. It's done in a black and white theme.
