Big Not So Bad Wolf

Allie's POV:

I'm woken up by a thud. A whining sound fills my ears. Pulling on my hands I'm thankful to find they're no longer chained.

The pained sound is coming from over the other end of the bed. Getting off the bed I investigate. A wolf is laying on curled up in a ball.

Without even thinking I rush over to it. I reach out. The wolf whips it's head to look at me. My hands pauses in mid air.

As fast as I can blink the wolf is gone. In its place is a woman about my age. My eyes widen.

She's... she's a... she is naked and hurt. She needs help. Shaking my head I pull myself back together. There's time to freak out later.

Her ribs are a sickening shade of blackish purple. She was having a difficult time breathing. Our eyes meet. It's clear she has no ill intentions towards me.

My hands continue forward. With gentleness I didn't know I possessed I ghost over every rib on each side. Every single one of them are broken.

"Try to stay as still as you can." I tell her.

Jumping to my feet I tear the flat sheet off of the bed. I fold it in half width wise. My legs take me back over to the girl.

I bend down to her level. Sadly I'm going to have to hurt her to help her.

"I'll try to be as quick as possible but I need you to lift your arms."

She nods her head. Her arms lift into the arm. The only sign she's in pain is the intense look on her face.

I wrap the sheet around her torso. Making sure it's tight as I go. It's so snug there's no doubt all I have to do is tuck it in and it will stay.

The end is tucked into the top. It's not the ideal option. But it's best I could do for her right now.

Standing up I offer her my hand. She places hers in mine. My knees bend as I slowly lift her off of the floor.

We take gentle steps over to the bed. I knock the covers side. I help her sit down. Once she's settled I lift her legs up. Pulling the blanket over I cover her and tell her to rest.

Whoever had hurt this girl was going to pay. They should pray they never meet me. I'd happily bash their faces in for hurting this poor girl.

"Your mate is a lucky wolf." She comments before she's dragged into sleeps depths.
