Elijah's POV:

My instincts couldn't ignore the call any longer. There wasn't anything I could do to stop it. It was happening whether I wanted it to or not.

Before I know it Allie is pulling away. Her eyes wide as saucers. I know exactly what she's seeing. Closing my eyes I take a moment to rein it in.

My eyes reopen. Allie shakes her denying what she'd just seen. A give her a smile hoping to ease her new found insecurity. She chuckles to herself smiling in return.

Grabbing her hand I list her from the blanket. She folds up the blanket. Collecting what's left of our meal we make our way back to my car.

Allie's POV:

I'm surrounded by trees. There's no saying where I am. All I can see is trees trees and more trees.

A figure steps out from between two trees. Their back is to me. It takes me a moment to realize it's Elijah.

I call out his name. He turns around. Elijah's face is contoured.

I scream at the top of my lungs.

I shoot up. Looking around I realize that I'm outside on my back porch. It was only a dream.

There's the distinct feeling of eyes on me. I don't feel freaked out or scared. Closing my eyes I enjoy the feeling of comfort it brings me.
