Call Connected

the eleventh chapter

Zacky's POV:

Waking up with arms wrapped around me was great. I knew immediately who the arms belonged to. I soaked up every single second I got to spend in them.

My eyes flutter closed as lips make contact with my neck. I'd swear I had died and gone to heaven. There's no way I wasn't enjoying Johnny's lip on my skin for as long as possible.

I had no idea where we go from here. I didn't know if we were still just friends. Maybe we were something more? We are going to have to talk about this.

"How about we go to the park down the street and have a picnic?" Johnny asks through a yawn.

Damn I wanted another minute or two of those seductive kisses. The jig is up now that he knows I'm awake. A picnic sounds like a good way to spend the afternoon.

About twenty minutes later we were armed with a picnic basket. At the mention of Irish cuisine both Johnny and I vehemently shook our heads no. The basket ended up filled with traditional American food much to the chagrin of the chef.

We had toured Ireland at few times. Last time we'd come to Ireland we'd tried an "Irish Traditional Stew." It turned out it wasn't beef, it was lamb. Neither on of us was willing to lend our stomachs as guinea pigs to Irish cuisine again.

We come here the Irish drawl as we walked out side. Johnny points in the direction of Guinness Storehouse. I follow beside him.

"The park is a little past here." He explains.

We come to the park entrance. It's called St. Stephen's Green. Both of us decide to walk around to find the perfect spot.

Our fingers point to a gazebo. The gazebo is surrounded by a lake on the right side. On the left is the walking path with grass and benches.

It truly was a breath of fresh air especially with all the trees around. Walking inside the gazebo we make ourselves comfortable on one of the benches. We sit facing each other.

~

Even though lunch had been but a few hours ago I wouldn't be able to tell you what I ate. I couldn't take my eyes off Johnny. If I did he might just disappear.

I craved him as if he were the only light shining in this dark world. I'd wanted this for so long I was scared my eyes were playing tricks on me. Many times I dreamed he was curled up blissfully in my arms only to wake up alone.

"You're thinking awfully hard." Johnny's worried tone pulls me back.

"Part of me feels like if I blink you will vanish. I had been denying how I felt about you and now that I have this moment with you I'm scared it's all I'll ever get." I admit.

His face looks thoughtful. "If all I ever get is a moment with you I'll consider myself a lucky man." He smiles bashfully.

I press my lips to his unable to hold off my desire any longer.
