Call Connected

Johnny's POV:

A knock on my hotel room door wakes me up. Glancing at the clock I see it's a little after five in the evening. I roll out of bed. Walking over to the door I grumble as I pull it open.

"Zack?" I question.

I blink my eyes. Surely Zacky isn't actually here. He gives me a sad smile. Nodding his head he answers that, yes in fact here.

"Can I come in?" He asks.

I step aside. He comes inside the room. I close the door behind him. I wouldn't be able to move even if I wanted to. I prayed that if I was being kicked out of the band Zacky would just say quick.

"I love you." "If I'm no longer welcome in the band just say it."

What did he just say? Our eyes meet. His glorious green orbs show confusion. My brow furrows. Why is he confused?

"Out of the band? You're not going anywhere. You are stuck with Avenged until you die and even then you'll always be a member." Zack practically yells at me.

"What do you mean you love me?" I ask.

"I'm in love with you. I have been waiting..." I don't give him a chance to finish his sentence.

Our lips crash together. I'd wanted this for ages. The millisecond Zacky's lips touched mine guitars soloed, drums pounded, the microphone rang out and my body felt whole.

It was explosive. Our tongues tangled dancing a rhythm we both desperately craved. I knew without a doubt I'd do any thing it took to kiss these lips always.

We both pull away. I'm honestly not sure who looked more disappointed. The look Zacky gives me says we'll be doing that again.

We decide to go to the Guinness Storehouse. It was the best choice. We could have some drinks and get some food. It took maybe ten minutes to walk from the hotel.

A woman greets us. "Welcome to the Guinness Storehouse. Are you here for the tour?"

The face he makes matches my own. It's clear that this woman's voice is going to grate on both our nerves. We decide to take the tour anyways.

We ride up the escalator to the first floor. The guide tells all about it. "Guinness has been traveling the globe since 1769. Today it's available in over 150 countries."

The second floor is filled with a hallway that's covered in neon lights. It reminds me of the shrinking hallway in Willy Wonka. All of it leads to exploring the unexpected flavors that create Guinness.

"This floor has it all. Every ingredient that goes into making Guinness the number one stout beer." Her voice isn't the most pleasant thing I've ever heard.

We follow along behind her. Floor three has a ton of clocks. I turn to look at Zacky. He makes a shoot me motion as the guide continues to talk.

"The clocks take you through the many different advertising that had represented the Guinness brand through out the years."

"The Guinness academy also known as the forth floor. You'll learn all about how to pour the perfect glass of Guinness and the six steps ritual that's almost as legendary as the beer itself."

"Brewers' Dining Hall is the next stop. It's inspired by the 18th and 19th century rooms at St. James's Gates. It features an open kitchen and a menu with iconic Guinness dishes."

The seventh floor. "Gravity bar, it's the best place to relax with a Guinness. Gravity bar allows you to take in the 360° views of Dublin." With that the guide takes her leave.

We ended up spending almost four hours there. It was great alone time with Zacky. We talked about everything.

On the walk back to the hotel we stopped to enjoy the night air. We took our time. Both of us enjoyed the time we got. Instead of getting his own room Zack opted to stay with me.

Once in our room each of us strips. The clothes land in one pile. We share a kiss before climbing into bed.

Zacky's arms wrap around my waist. He pecks behind my ear. Then his breath ghosts over it.

"I'm in love with you too." I confess.

"There's absolutely no place is rather be." Leaves a smile on my lips while I drift into dream land.
