A Little Pain Is Worth The Pleasure

I opened Johnny's a little bit earlier than usual because I wanted everyone in the community to come together for an impromptu barbeque I called Dani and Jessica and asked if they would come in early to help me set up and they both happily agreed to it these were some hard working girls and they really wanted the money which was a good thing they were grateful for the job now when they see what happens behind the scenes they would enjoy that too I'm getting ahead of myself I restocked the bar and handed people Long Island ice teas to help them with the blistering heat today's record was going to be 90 so I must be prepared for this heat wave.


Dani walked with Jessica following right behind and they went right to work this was going to be a great day Dani seemed to warm up to the customers but Jessica would take some time but she will come out of her shell eventually and I know she will make some new friends fast she and Dani are attached at the hip I wonder what else they have done together when they're drunk I smirked at my thought and until I get one of them alone I will have my one on one time before Brian and Matt keep them all to themselves and that was not fair at all.


"Hey where do you want these glasses ?" Dani asked facing my direction.

"Put them on the top shelf." I kept my focus on her ass.

"DUDE WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING ?!?! I heard Matt's voice from behind me.

"Umm-" I stammered out.

"You're making moves on my girl!" Matt yelled at me.

"Your girl ?" Dani turned to face Matt's pleading eyes.

"We haven't even gone out on a date yet." Dani said.

"Well tonight I'm taking you out." Matt kissed Dani's cheek.

"Well done Mr. Smooth." I heard Brian clapping from behind he and Jimmy walked in together Jimmy had a girl with him now everybody has someone but me this makes me feel lonely I wish I could find someone who I could make so happy that they would never get tired of me being around them.


"Jimmy who's your new friend ?" Brian asked.

"Oh guys this is Faye she's my new housekeeper." Jimmy held on tightly to Faye's hand he never let go of it I think she even winced at one point. Jimmy did have a tight grip on her.

"So this was your urgent emergency yesterday ?" Matt took a beer from behind me.

"Yes this was it." Jimmy and Faye held hands all night they never let go of each other.

"Has anybody seen Zacky ?" I asked.

"No he should be here soon." I knew that voice from anywhere it was Sully Erna he must have saw my huge sign outside and walked right inside this was going to be a great night now all we need is some music and a couple of girls to get this party going.

Jimmy and Faye finally parted ways she wanted to go introduce herself to the other girls but Jimmy kept a close eye on her he has already made his claim on her with all of these wonderful gorgeous girls around I'm sure I could find someone who meets my qualifications and has the same interest as me that shouldn't be hard to find right ?

Zacky finally arrived but in very bad shape he looked like someone had just ran him over he fell to the ground with not enough strength to even stand up on both legs so we need to get him to an emergency room right away this didn't look so good he looked like a bloody mess.


Waiting was the most grueling part about hospitals I sat down and waited for a few more hours then went home to get some rest and be back up here tomorrow morning Brian, Jimmy, Jessica, Matt, Dani, and Faye all stayed the night they would take hourly shifts to pass the time.

By morning, I drove back to the hospital with a lot of things on my mind these being one of them the doctor informed me that Zacky was in stable condition and that we all could visit when he wakes up he wasn't out of detox yet and that made me nervous but he was a fighter.


"Where's my brother ?" Zacky's brother Matthew had shown up a few hours later.

"He's not awake yet." Brian replied.

"I was worried when he didn't call to check in." Matthew began to panic.

"He's going to be fine." I reassured him.

"I hope so." Matthew had to go outside to recollect himself and his composure.

... I hope he's okay.
