Fiona Byrne, Irish woman goes on a holiday to try to get over the man she had been in love with for years, unrequited of course. She signs up for a home exchange and waits to see what happens.

Matt Sanders, newly divorced and a single dad needs to get away for a bit. Valary agrees to take the kiddos while Matt does a home exchange. He finds himself a nice little condo in Ireland and can't get out of Huntington Beach fast enough.

Fiona and Matt have plenty to look forward to and also have some happy, exciting things happen along the way. Matt meeting Fiona's sister and Fi, meeting one of his band mates.
