I'm Gonna Give All My Secrets Away
After finishing lunch, and proposing the roadtrip plan to the rest of the guys, we all packed up, and hit the road. I was happy to be seeing my hometown, and my parents, again, but nervous to introduce the Avenged guys to my parents, seeing as how they probably would be intimidated by the tattoos, and piercings. How was I supposed to introduce Brian? I mean, we just screwed, but it was too early to tell if we had anything. Man, I really needed to talk to my father about these guys, and see which he approved of, I'd always trusted my father's opinion.

We finally arrived at my home, the next morning. I was anxious, nervous, and happy all at the same time.
"Are you going to get out of the car, Bradley?" Sam asked me, tapping on my window. We had taken Matt's SUV, to be able to haul of us, and our baggage, I hadn't even noticed anyone getting out of the vehicle. I opened the door, and hopped out of the vehicle.
I strode up to the front door, and before I could even knock, it opened up, and I was engulfed in a hug.
"I missed you so much, sweetheart!" My mom said, as she smothered me in kisses, and hugs.
"Laura, let her breath." My mom let go of me, and my father stepped in, and gave me a hug, lifting me from the ground. "I missed you, baby girl."
"I missed you too, both of you." I smiled, as my father set me down, and let go of me.
"Well, come in, honey!" My mom said. "Your friends, too!" She smiled at the guys, and let us in the house. She greeted Sam with a hug, and my dad shook his hand, welcoming him back. The guys stood around the entryway awkwardly, not knowing what to do.
"You guys can sit down in the living room, or anywhere. Make yourselves at home, any friend of Bradley's is welcome in our home."
"Thank you, Mrs. Cross." Matt stepped forward, and shook her hand.
"Oh, honey, call me Laura."
"Mom, dad, this is Matt, Brian, Zacky, Jimmy, and Johnny, otherwise known as the band Avenged Sevenfold."
"Oh my, a band?" She smiled at the guys.
"Guys, this is my mom, Laura, and my dad, Kenneth, or Kenny, as he likes to be called." My father stuck out his hand, to shake their hands, and my mom gave each of them hugs.
We sat around for hours just talking, and catching up. We told my parents how Sam and I managed to move in with the famous group of guys, and how we'd met, and the guys explained how they had formed, and various information about themselves, and their lives.

I still wanted to talk to my dad, about the trouble I was having, choosing the right guy, so I waited until a break in the conversation to call him away.
"Dad, can I talk to you about something in the other room, please?"
"Sure, honey. Excuse me, guys, Laura, I'll be back." He smiled at them, and followed me out of the living room, and into the kitchen.
I explained the situation, and the problems I was having choosing who I wanted to be with, as he listened intently.
"Oh, honey. I think they all seem like great young men, but there's something about the way Matt looks at you, that really catches my eye. I see it when Brian looks at you, too, but not quite as strong as Matt's. They both seem to really love you, and want to be with you. They want to protect you, and be there for you, but in Matt's eyes, I see true love, real, true love, honey, like the kind I have for your mother. I see the same in Brian's eyes when he looks at you, but I also see lust, and the slightest bit of spitefulness towards Matt, because he knows who will win you over." My father smiled at me, and kissed me on the cheek. "You be with whomever you want to be, pumpkin, I know you will make the right decision, either way." With that said, he left me alone in the kitchen, and returned to the living room.
