Follow The Tides, Wherever You've Been

Tragic in the Fall Out

The doorbell rang downstairs, and I walked over to get it. Even though Aden and I had been together for seven months now, I wasn't ready to move in with him, or give all of myself to him. I wasn't ready to leave Sam in this house with all of the guys, either, I liked it here, and if it wasn't for Sam, I wouldn't be here.

There was another ring at the door. "I'm coming!" I yelled. I grabbed the doorknob, and opened the door.

"Good morning, beautiful. I thought you were going to stay at my place last night?" Aden said as he leaned in and gave me a kiss. I let him in, and we made our way into the kitchen, I was starving, and needed some breakfast.

"I was going to stay, but then you fell asleep on the couch. I didn't want to wake you, and I didn't want to sleep on the floor, so I just came home. Do you want something to eat?"

"No, I'm fine baby. You know you're..." He was cut off when the rest of the guys walked in.

"What's cooking good-looking?!" Brian shouted as they all made their way into the kitchen, and sat down at the island, and table. Brain looked over and saw Aden sitting at the bar. "I mean... hey, you."

"As I was saying," Aden continued. "I just thought maybe you'd finally changed your mind about staying with me." I sighed, and moved around the kitchen, grabbing ingredients as I went. "You know, Bradley, we've been together for seven months, but you act like you don't trust me, or something." He got up from the bar, and walked away towards the sliding doors that led to pool, and deck areas. I set all of the stuff down on the counter, all eyes were on me and Aden as I met him at the door. Damn guys, they couldn't mind their own business.

"Aden," I reached up and touched his cheek, he slapped it away, opened the door, and walked out.

"Bradley?" Sam said from the island. I just ignored him, all of them, and walked out to meet Aden.

"Aden, I'm sorry... I just..."

"You just what?!" He snapped. I'd never seen him act like this before, he'd never raised his voice at me. "You just decided you like staying with six guys better than one?!"

"You know damn well it's not like that, Aden! Stop yelling at me!" I saw his hand reach out towards me, before I could stop it, or move, it hit me, hard, across my cheek and jaw. I fell to the ground, tears coming to my eyes.

"Don't you ever fucking raise your voice at me! You hear me?!" He yelled, kneeling down close to me. I didn't respond. The sliding doors slid open and all of the guys rushed out.

"What the fuck is going on out here?!" Zack asked. Aden laughed.

"She just fell down, that's all. She tripped over the step coming out of the doors." He helped me up.

"Like Hell I believe that!" Matt yelled. "You fucking hit her, you bastard, I oughta rip you in two!" Matt lunged for him, but Aden moved, and he fell into the pool. Brian ran over to Aden and punched him square in the face, his head reeled back. Matt surfaced, and got out of the pool, coming over to Aden, and Brian. "You're an asshole. You don't deserve Bradley, and she sure as fuck deserves better than your sorry ass!" Matt spat at him, and punched him in the gut, causing Aden to kneel over, and drop to his knees.

"Sorry? Who said I was sorry?" Aden laughed, as he clutched his stomach. "I'm not sorry for what I did, the only thing I'm sorry for is not doing it sooner." It was Zack's turn to do some damage, now, he came over and kicked Aden in the back, hard, making him fall forward onto the concrete. "You assholes are going to pay for every bit of this, you'll see!" Aden growled.

"Guys, let him up." Jimmy piped up. "He's not worth our time. He's not worth shit, if you ask me." He turned to Aden, "Get the fuck out of here! If you ever come back, we will all see to it, that you never leave. We should just fucking kill your ass, no one hurts our friends like that, and no one hits a girl! Now, get the fuck away from here! You'll be sorry if you show your face anymore." Aden slowly got to his feet.

"We'll just see about that." He turned around, and walked out of the gate. A few seconds later, his car started, and I knew he was gone.

Aww, I'm sorry to say that I won't be making a sequel to this story. This was my first story on here, and looking back at it now, I really don't like the way it turned out. But I appreciate your comment. :) it means a lot to know someone liked the story.
