Dont Pray For Me

Zack started to get this concerned look on his face when he seen that I was deep in thought. I think Rae noticed too because she began to snap her fingers in front of my eyes, making me snap my eyes up to him. "My answer is yes ill be his girlfriend, but I still want that date, got it?" I said to him as the concern fell from his face and a smile formed with glistening eyes.

He grabbed me and spun me around giving me a quick kiss before setting me down on my feet again. "I have the most beautiful girlfriend ever!" he said before hugging me again. We got the text we were waiting for and decided to take cars instead of the bikes. It was about 20 minutes from where we were at. We parked in a back alley before strapping knives and guns everywhere.

The gate was locked and guarded so Jimmy and Brian took out the guards as Johnny disabled the alarms, phones and everything else. We went through the gate and crept to the window to peek in. I signaled that more guards are heading this way and Rae and Matt grabbed both around the mouth with rags of chloroform before stabbing them through their hearts and taking their guns, ammo, money, and wallets.

Since we had a hacker in the group he can shut down all cameras at the banks while withdrawing every single dollar from the bank cards and credit cards, which is fucking awesome, and after its all done he can turn the cameras back on and loop the footage to where the time stamps wouldnt show a blank gap.

Johnny gave the signal and pushed the now unlocked door open as I pulled my gun and crept in behind Jimmy and Zack. Once inside we all went separate ways until one of us found the soon to be dead guy. I checked a room that looked to be the master bedroom but it was clear, well clear until I turned around and came face to face with the man.

"Thanks for showing up Phoenix" he said as he swung a blade towards me that sliced the side of my head. I had a gash but it wasnt too deep. "How did you know I would be here?" I asked as I pulled my blade and pressed a button on my watch that would alert the group to where I was at.

"Do you really think Larry sent you here to kill me?" he said as he swung with the blade again. This time it hit the metal guard on my wrist and I kicked it out from his hand. I was waiting for back up but it seemed like they were too busy to find me so I had to do this on my own. "What are you talking about?" I asked him as I threw the knife, barely missing his face, it stuck in the wall behind him. He wasnt even worried about the knife as he walked towards me.

"Tell me whats going on!" I commanded.

"The reason you and your group are here is because my mission, from Larry, is to kill you all." he said as he threw a fist. I dipped under his fist and threw a kick to his chest before grabbing my gun and pulling the trigger. Fuck, the safety is on. He kicked it from me and grabbed me throwing me to the wooden floor, he kicked me a couple times and knocked the wind out of me before he sat on top of me with his hands around my neck.

I threw punch after punch towards him but no matter how hard I hit him in the face he wouldnt let go and I couldnt get my knife or my gun so I was basically screwed. It does suck being so tiny sometimes. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears as things began to fade to black. I didnt remember much when I woke up besides the fact that everyone was sitting around me while Zack had me in his lap, he was crying. "Baby are you ok?" I asked him as I wiped the tears away from his face. "Fuck, Phoenix, baby, I thought I lost you" he said kissing me over and over again.

"Im fine, but you guys look like hell, what the fuck happened?" I asked looking around the room to see everyone cut, bloody, and bruised. "It was a trap" Rae said as she looked at the side of my head. "Larry sent us here to get killed" I told them and they all took a step back.

"Who told you that?" Jimmy asked

"Our not so dead guy did" I said scrunching my eyebrows together. "Didnt you guys get him after I blacked out?" I asked and they all looked at each other and shook their heads. "He was choking me, why would he let me pass out and then leave me alive?" I asked

"We didnt see him at all, we found more guards and thought you ran into a guard as well Nix" Brian said to me.

"No I was face to face with Larrys target" I said as I stood up, but things started to spin and Zacky held me to make sure I wouldnt fall.

"You need to relax while I stitch you up Nix you've lost a little bit of blood" Rae said to me. I threw off my jacket and everyone gasped when they seen the blood soaked tank top I had on. I looked down and noticed it as well so I pulled the tank top off completely and looked at the skin that was carved. I couldnt make out what it said until I cleaned the blood away a little bit. They were numbers, but what did they mean?

Johnny stepped up and go on his knees studying my stomach a little bit before he turned to us.

"What is it Johnny?" Matt asked

"They are coordinates I think" he said before standing up.

"Guys theres more on her back" Jimmy said and I turned around to show the group what was on my back. "Sept 28 noon" It said.

He put the coordinates in on his phone and looked up at me, "Greenlawn memorial, September 28th"

I balled my fists so hard that my knuckles cracked. "What is it?" Brian asked, but I was so mad I couldnt reply to him. "Thats where our parents are buried, and that is their death date" Rae said to him.

"But, how does he know all this?" Brian asked looking over at my sister and I. "I dont know" we both said.

"And why wait over a month? I dont get it, whats he planning?" Rae said back.

"And what should we do about Larry?" Brian asked.

"Lets just leave him alone until we can be sure that he is the one that put all this together" Zack said helping me put the tank top back on before we all snuck out of the house back to the alley.
